Excellent Customer Service

I had a really great experience with Hella Heels customer support. Elizah was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful throughout the whole process. She assisted me with replacing a pair of shoes that had a slight imperfection, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Excellent customer service at Hella Heels!!!

The boots that I ordered for my daughter turned out to be out of stock. But they looked high and low for them before telling me we need to pick a new pair. I appreciate when people go above and beyond to make their customers happy. Great news is that my daughter was able to get the same boot, just open toed. She hasn't gotten them yet but I know they are going to look amazing on them. We love supporting women owned business, I am one myself. I love that these women took what they learned in the industry and created products that are of such high quality.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have been trying to contact hella heels about issues with returning my item and they have not come back to me!

This service is highly disappointing as this is not a cheap product. Furthermore I have had a bot response which did not give me any more information or answer my question, but had an email address you could email for further information, but the email address is not valid!

Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us, we are sorry to hear you don't seem to be getting any responses and can understand it would be frustrating.

Upon looking into this, your email provider might be filtering out our responses as we have been replying in a timely manner but not getting any replies back from you.

We can see you've now managed to register a return for the exchanged order. As we have switched our returns partner last month, during this transition phase all exchange orders registered for a refund have to be manually processed by us - please disregard the store credit option on the portal, we will cancel the store credit and manually refund your original order instead once the return has been processed by our returns team.

Sad to have to stop buying this brand

I was happy with my old orders. But I wanted to return my last one (I'm in France). I paid 25€ the return and it never have been received by Hella. I tried another time so I paid 50€ just to return and it was declined !
I wonder if the company doesn't count on this to not refund orders...
The other companies in Britain do send a return paper in exchange of a 10-15€ fees taken on the refund.
I've sent multiples emails to ask for some help.
At the end, I paid 50€ and I've still too small shoes that sleep in my room.
Furthermore, I nevertheless wanted to do another order (yes because I love this brand and I wear only their shoes) but now I see that duties and taxes reach almost 100€ ! So you pay 220€ a pair of shoes that costs 120€.
This is crazy.
I will not buy my dancing shoes and this website for now.

But quality wise : amazing shoes for stripplastique and great design.

We completely understand how frustrating this situation must feel, and we’re very sorry for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, once a return parcel is in transit with the postal carrier, the delivery process is outside of our control. We appreciate how disappointing it is to incur return shipping costs when the parcel does not successfully reach us.

We would very much like to be able to provide prepaid return labels for all locations, however at present this is not supported by our fulfilment centre or returns portal for France. We understand this is not ideal, and we are continuously reviewing ways to improve the returns experience for our EU customers.

Regarding duties and taxes, these are calculated automatically at checkout based on current import regulations and thresholds set by local authorities. As these charges are determined by customs, they can vary depending on order value and destination country.

As you mentioned you enjoy wearing Hella Heels, you may wish to consider purchasing through our retail partner Pole Junkie Netherlands, who offers duty-free shipping and easier returns within the EU.

Product came damaged, very delayed and dismissive response...

My overall experience with this order was horrendous. I fully expect this review to get rejected or hidden. I see that all of the general reviews on their page are fake/using fake images not from real customers. I received these boots in the correct size and timeline but they both had large scuffs/glue smudges. I immediately reached out to work either exchange or partial refund. They took a very long time to get back with me and dismissed my concerns after following up several times. Their response was simply that "due to the handmade nature" these specks and flaws can happen. This was a large smudge and very visible. They some serious gall to charge this much for a shoe that comes significantly flawed, just to also hold up use of the shoe and respond over a week later with base-line policy fluff. Just own up to your mistakes and take care of your customers. They offered me a $40 gift card as an act of "goodwill", but this experience makes me lose trust in their product and their customer care.

In terms of response time, we aim to reply within 2 business days and work through enquiries from oldest to most recent. Sending additional messages on the same thread moves the conversation to the back of the queue, which can unfortunately result in a longer wait time.

Regarding the cosmetic marks, as our shoes are handmade, minor aesthetic imperfections can occasionally occur. The product description does mention the spray painted technique used for the particular style you've purchased, might lead to specks/dots/marks/imperfections within the paint. For small imperfections that do not affect the integrity of the shoe, we might offer a small partial refund following a photo assessment.

Before we had the opportunity to propose a solution, a 20% refund was requested in line with the Easter promotion that began after the order was placed. As our policy does not allow retrospective application of sale discounts, we offered a gift card of the same value instead. Following further correspondence, we also issued the partial refund corresponding to the aesthetic concern, in addition to the gift card as a gesture of goodwill.

We would also like to reassure that all reviews on our website are 100% authentic and submitted by verified customers following their purchase, as requested by an automatic email sent post purchase.

We always aim to provide fair and consistent resolutions, and we’re sorry that this experience has impacted your perception of our brand.

Buyer Beware! Shoe ripped after 4 hours

This was my first shoe purchase with Hella Heels (purchased through my studio) and I’ve unfortunately had the worst experience and have been left disappointed and dissatisfied with the product and customer service. The shoes became significantly damaged after four wears, leaving myself and my studio in shock with the poor quality of the fabric. Now I’m not an advanced Chorey girl and am not performing flips or crazy floor tricks that would cause the back of the heel to rip or the base of the shoe to lift. My studio acted on my behalf and attempted to get support with this issue which took 4-5months. The response was that the damage was caused my normal
wear and tear and therefore I was not eligible for repair or refund. Now I can understand if this tear occurred many months after I had purchased and used the product, however, this tear and lifting of the sole occurred after 4 uses which is a total of 4 hours of wear! Hella heels was not interested in considering that there may have been a fault in the manufacturing of this one boot….. I will not buy from there again and they have also lost my studios business as well as a result.

Also noticed I can’t post a bad review on the offical website…even more reason to be cautious when buying from them

Following a detailed review of the photos provided via your studio, we were unfortunately unable to identify any manufacturing fault in the area of the fabric tear, such as stitching that could have been faulty as there was no stitching in that area. The damage appeared consistent with the material catching on an external surface. While our shoes are made from high-quality materials and thoroughly tested, like all performance footwear they are not immune to mechanical wear or accidental damage.

With regard to the sole lifting, this is covered by our Sole Guarantee, and we offered reimbursement towards a local repair or shoe glue to resolve this as quickly as possible. We also confirmed we were happy to make an exception to our usual 3-month timeframe in this instance, as the purchase was made through a reseller.

We’re sorry that the process took longer than expected. As the purchase was made via a reseller, we were reliant on communication being passed on to us, and unfortunately there were delays in receiving responses until we followed up again ourselves. We understand how frustrating this must have felt and appreciate your patience while we worked to obtain the necessary information to assess the case.

Regarding reviews on our website, all feedback — both positive and negative — is manually reviewed by our team. This allows us to ensure we do not miss important feedback and to reach out directly via email where support may be needed, as this is the most effective way for us to properly investigate and resolve concerns.

Impeccable customer service, and beautiful heels

I reported a defect on my new Stripperella shoes, and the Hella Heels team was quick to respond to me. They gave me generous refund options and contacted the warehouse to verify the safety of the heels despite the defect. After conforming that the heels are safe to wear, I've thoroughly enjoyed them. They're my favorite pair of heels!

Fantastic

Ordered twice from the company now. Very quick shipment and delivery times, great quality Heels.
One pair was slightly too small and needed to be returned, fantastic customer services and great options for returning shoes or Store credit offered instead.
Would definitely recommend

The most gorgeous heels!!

The most gorgeous heels!!! Soooo comfortable, couldn't wait to get them on my feet. I absolutely LOVE the shield stiletto style and oh my gooooooodness they fit like a glove. I need them in every color please! The sparkles are amazing, the box is beautiful and they're so comfy and fun to dance in!

In general I size up for pleasers I feel they run slightly smaller when you’re in between sizes.

When such a high quality product meets personal service it completely changes how I feel as a customer. I was traveling and very confused about something I was trying to order, and they were fast, kind, and helpful and made the whole process smooth and easy. It's actually fun to shop with them. 10/10

Hella Heels Glitterati Open Toe Sin City boots

I have bought a pair of Hella Heels Glitterati Open Toe Over The Knee 8inch Boots - Sin City for an upcoming showcase as I find the boots very beautiful and flattering. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed of the material. It is extremely faulty, as I danced in them 3 times for rehearsals only (no crazy tricks or a lot of friction with the floor) and they have already ripped in the front and are already blistering as well. I also do not like at all the sole of the shoe, the friction with the floor is horrible. I have owned several pairs of heels for pole and I am aware that you need to 'break them in' but this is the first pair where I hated from the beginning how they felt.

I cannot dance in them for the show and unfortunately I find them poor quality for the huge price they had (185€). Never giving up my pleasers ever again :)

We completely understand how disappointing it can feel when a pair of shoes doesn’t perform the way you hoped. Our shoes are designed and tested with dancers in mind, but like all pole footwear, fabrics can naturally show wear and tear with use. Depending on factors such as movement, flooring, friction and fabric type, this can sometimes appear sooner than expected — even after only a few wears. While this is considered normal for pole shoes, we absolutely understand how frustrating it can be when it happens earlier than anticipated.

Regarding the soles, they are designed with a higher level of grip to prioritise safety. Many dancers prefer to gently buff the soles to reach their ideal level of traction, as this allows them to customise the grip to their personal style and floor type. We believe this approach is safer than producing soles that are too slippery from the outset.

Purchased a few pairs of Hellas from Depop and on the website, On Depop I especially correspond with Lily and she is THE sweetest person ever,
My Depop order was accidentally shipped to the wrong address and without missing a beat Lily contacted me to let me know of the mixup!!
She’s sweet,kind and very professional.

Highly recommend Hella and their staff attitudes towards their customers 🥹

No communication with the companys customer service

I made an order of a pair of shoes for a friend. Everything was perfect delivery quick item the right one and all. The problem started when unfortunately the size was too small for my friend and I ve already deleted the order email. As a result I am 2 days now emailing the company trying to find out my order number so I can register the shoes to the return portal. The company is getting back to me via automated bot emails not giving me the order number which without it I cannot register for a return or an exchange. I ve sent one last email now and waiting for their response once more in case this time I can actually find out what my order number was. I decided if I get again the same automated bot response I will finally dispute it with my bank as I am not willing to lose so much money for a pair of shoes that dont fit.........

reply: its wasnt resolved the next day it was resolved after I disputed with the bank and also my bank couldnt find resolution for another 1,5 day..... Also I dont have account so couldnt find my order number anywhere... And it wasnt the multiple emails i sent because I was getting answers from you that werent helpful at all and then I was sending again.... Not good service at all for me.....
