Love the Cloud option
I did a lot of research before selecting a company. This company sounded sincere and I really liked the Cloud option. I always worry about loosing a flash drive. I really like that I can pay a monthly fee and not have to worry if I download them onto my computer and having it crash. Fast! I sent the box on a Sunday and had an email that items were ready in a few days. I sent a blank tape by mistake and they tried 3 times just to make sure it was blank. Good communication too!

Excellent Work with a few Caveats
Dear Heirloom:
I hope you're well and thank you for your work on our project. Two things:
1. When I signed up for Heirloom, I was sent an email for a 10% discount on my first order:
"To welcome you to the Heirloom family, we’re offering 10% off your first order! Just use the code WELCOME10 at checkout and start preserving your memories today."
It would have been nice to receive that at my first checkout. I would appreciate Heirloom honoring this discount, as it does amount to a substantial amount.
2. When I signed up for the service, I asked the specific question whether the files would be named in connection with the label on the VHS tapes, which was answered in the affirmative. I was disappointed to see that none of the files were labeled to match the VHS label.
Other than those issues, the product is very solid and I look forward to the next set of old media to convert.

I understand our team is already working with you to apply a 10% welcome discount, but I'll make sure this get's done.
Regarding file naming, you raise a great point. While we apply a standard naming convention by physically labeling each piece of media, we aren't able to fully customize filenames based on handwritten labels, which are sometimes unclear or incomplete. That said, the good news is that Heirloom makes it easy to match up those labels on your returned tapes with the digital files in your account—where you can then add full descriptions and notes that are searchable on our platform (unlike DVDs, which remain static and unlabeled).

This company has the best customer support ever. They are very friendly and responsive to any problem or question you may have. My movies came out great and it was well worth the cost to have them digitized. I enjoyed sharing them with my family, as well.
