Design not the best
Design not the best. Have to have it turned backwards to get the air to flow into the room due to how the air fins are angled. ROI not very good either. Bitcoin will need to more than 3X-4X before I break even.

The airflow direction is meant to support the most effective room circulation in a typical placement, but room layout can absolutely make orientation feel less intuitive in some setups, and feedback like yours is exactly what helps us improve future design decisions.
On the ROI side, that’s a very fair callout as well — mining returns naturally depend on Bitcoin price, network difficulty, and how much heating value the unit is offsetting in your space. We always want the product to feel worthwhile as a heater first, with the Bitcoin side acting as an additional long-term benefit rather than the sole justification.

The Heatbits are fantastic and I’m very happy to have purchased them. I was not aware of the logistics necessary to receive them, but once I understood just how popular they were and the lead time on orders, my expectations improved. I recommend them for sure, but know that the sell quickly.

It was advertised to make $100/season
It was advertised to make $100/season. (3 months, maybe 4) So you would expect to make $25-$35/month. I've had it on non-stop for 13 days and made $3.74.
Also, as a heater, It did not get as warm as some of my other space heaters. I've never seen it get over 72 degrees. I'm not happy with this purchase at all.

Each model in our lineup is designed with a specific use case in mind. Trio is built for everyday home use, turning the electricity you already use for heating into potential Bitcoin rewards while running quietly in the background.
Mining results depend on external factors such as network difficulty and Bitcoin price, so short periods (like a couple of weeks) can look very different from seasonal averages.
If your unit isn’t getting past 72°F, we’d really like to make sure everything is set up correctly and operating as intended.

More than a Year to solve the issue…
More than a Year to solve the issue with the old machine. But now I receive the new product and the product is amazing. Now with the cold weather is nice to try the product. The evolution from the old version is incredible. It was so easy to activate the unit, the screen with the different options is amazing. Super happy now with the unit

I was kind of surprised that my Heatbit filters at 28 bucks apiece had to be replaced just as my second count reached $28 in value. It appears their filters are overpriced in my opinion.

Nice industrial design - works very well - easy!
I have ordered two units - one was upgraded paid shipping so I can receive it during the winter months. Since receiving it I have very much appreciated the really nice industrial design. I had an initial issue but their support and some of the employees were able to rectify the situation very quickly. Now my unit is producing heat, mining bitcoins and looking sleek in my living room.

I am a Heatbit collector
I have been using the various incarnations of Heatbit from the earliest days. I now have 3 Trio's and a Maxi. I like to think I helped iron out some of the wrinkles from those early days. Over the years I have had a couple of issues but the support is extraordinary and everything was always resolved to my satisfaction.
When I ordered the Maxi, I received it and had a lot of trouble connecting with my wifi. I couldn't imagine what the problem was and at one point I had 3 support people helping me and I know that at least one of them worked way outside of normal working hours. It turned out that they had sent a Trio instead of a Maxi (I didn't know how to tell them apart at the time) and as soon as we figured that out, they immediately sent a return tag and shipped the correct unit. They make up for the inconvenience by sending my (unsolicited) a supply of HEPA filters. As of this evening, all my Heatbits are heating away, which is nice because it is -17 degree F outside. I really like the product but the support is what makes me come back for more.

My experience was great! I had an issue with the first maxi but the team was very helpful and shipped a brand new one right away. I have been currently using the maxi for the past couple of days and the machine works great. I’m very happy with my purchase!

A bit slow to ship
The ordering, super easy. Taking my payment, super easy, except for the credit card company thinking it was an unauthorized purchase. Getting the product shipped in a timely manner, not so much. Shipping via UPS, no bueno, they are the slowest shipping company I’ve ever used, I’d suggest switching to FedEx.
My Heatbit arrived in a little more than a month, almost 2 months, November 23rd order date, January 19th delivery. Customer service was polite and quite responsive when I inquired about the length of time it was taking for delivery.
Easy setup, nice and quiet, keeps my computer room cozy and warm. My cats enjoy sitting near it. So far so good.
