HAUHAU Omdömen

We had a media wall, with matching sideboard and a free standing coffee table designed and installed by the HauHau team. The whole project from our initial inquiry to installation ran very smoothly, on time and on budget. My husband was so impressed with the quality, design and fitting that we ordered a second media wall and fitted furniture for our cloakroom. Again everything went without any hitches. It was a pleasure in todays world to deal with a company that do actually deliver to such high standards.
I would not only use them again but recommend them most highly.

I contacted Vincent from HauHau and we initially had an introductory call. Despite accepting his highest quoted price, Vincent repeatedly focused on budget and pricing rather than understanding my brief or vision.

He later visited my property, again raised pricing, took measurements, and advised that he would share initial ideas within two weeks. No information was provided. After I followed up, pricing was mentioned yet again, I was told materials would be sent shortly, and I have since heard nothing.

Given that I had already agreed to his highest quotation, the repeated emphasis on price was unnecessary and frustrating. The lack of follow-through, communication, and basic professionalism suggests a lack of interest in the project despite a clearly defined and substantial budget.

Overall, this was a disappointing and poorly handled experience.

We hired Ben Rollings and his company HauHau to design a new kitchen in our recently purchased family home. We had some very specific ideas about how our kitchen needed to function, both for our family and as beautiful and inviting space for entertaining. We had met a number of other kitchen designers, but Ben was by far the most creative and also practical in incorporating the essential elements of our vision. From start to finish it has been an absolute pleasure working with Ben and his team. Communication, transparency and project management is excellent. He managed a very tight project timeline with no meaningful delays (impressive as this was in an environment where many struggled to get appliances on time [we used Wolf-Sub Zero, Miele and Bora]) and was quick to inform us of any potential issues so that we could work through these together. The quality of HauHau’s workmanship is exceptional and the finished product is both stunning and highly functional. Attention to detail is meticulous and the quality of materials used is top notch. We could not be happier with our new kitchen and we recommend Ben and his team at HauHau without hesitation. Ben’s team share his fine eye for design and love of high quality craftsmanship; every member of HauHau’s team that worked in our home were highly professional, competent and genuinely nice people to have around. We appreciated the quality of this experience so much that we then asked Ben to design and build a dressing room and wardrobes in our Master Bedroom and the joinery for our family media room; we are equally thrilled with the design, workmanship and quality of HauHau’s work in these other areas in our home.

I cant think of a time when I have worked with a more professional and informative company, after carrying out extensive research I contacted HauHau with a strong vision of our kitchen. I met Ben and we discussed our dream kitchen after the initial meeting Ben contacted us asking questions and giving options, then a short time after that we were presented with drawings and visuals that far exceeded our expectations.

Ben is an amazing designer with meticulous attention to detail who listened to all our requirements and gave suggestions regarding layout and came up with a kitchen that we thought we could only dream of.

We highly recommend HauHau for design, high quality, installation and value for money.

We would definitely use them again.

Having never taken on any sort of project previously, It all seemed very daunting. Having a young family and a very hectic life, Ben helped guide us through every detail from start to finish. Kitchen design isn’t a job for Hau Hau it’s a way of life and what started off as a daunting project turned into an enjoyable process all the way from design to installation. The personal touch you receive from Hau Hau is what, in my view sets them aside from all of the completion whether large corporate or bespoke. Would be sure to recommend to friends and family time and time again. Thank you.

We recently decided to re model our kitchen, and after looking at various luxury brands it was clear that a Hau Hau kitchen was for us.
We instantly fell in love with the elegant yet modern design and sympathetic use of beautiful materials. It was important for us that our most used room wasn’t “style over substance”. Ben listened to how we use our space and took on board our extensive wish list and came up with the most beautiful designs incorporating ideas that we would never have thought of ourselves, he was so accommodating with my constant questions and “what abouts?” and would always explain why something would or would not work or come up with a way to improve upon an idea.
We loved that we were included in the design process to create our perfect family space, it has made the room so much more personal and bespoke to us.

Hau Hau excelled themselves and I would whole heartedly recommend them, not only for their designs and quality of craftsmanship but their ability to communicate, share their knowledge and understand the customers needs.

We certainly didn’t get “Style over substance” What we did get was the most stylish and substantial kitchen we could have imagined!
