I purchased a new coin to commemorate the late Queen. For £59 I received a minute coin that is barely visible to the naked eye. The person who took my order told me that it was just a little smaller than a 5pence piece. In truth it was a little larger than a pin head

We’d like to reassure you that all the key specifications of the coin, including its diameter and weight, were clearly included in the TV advert and fully approved by the relevant advertising regulator. We always aim to provide transparent and accurate information so customers know exactly what to expect.
This particular coin is struck in 0.5g of pure 24-carat gold, to the highest proof standard, and is priced at £59, which is in line with the gold spot value alone at current market rates. This does not include the design, minting, and presentation costs, which are typically factored into the pricing of collectable proof coins.
We understand that smaller coins can sometimes take people by surprise, and if you’re looking for something more substantial in size, we do offer larger Queen Elizabeth II editions featuring the same design, which may be more to your liking.
