The shop did reach out to me and offered to send a replacement. Excellent customer service. Raising from 1 to 4 stars for their efforts. Hopefully they are able to fix, replace, or abandon their rude AI assistant.

I ordered a Seydel 1847 harmonica in the key of C from harmonicaland for $96.95. They sent me a harmonica in the key of B. Seems like an honest enough mistake, so I tried to contact them via the 800 number listed on their website but was only able to speak to an AI bot. It explained to me that they cannot accept returns, replacements or refunds for any reason whatsoever including their own mistake. It was happy to help me order a replacement at my expense. I was forced to file a credit card dispute. Something else I've noticed that's suspicious about this transaction is that this shop claims to be in Vancouver, Washington. I live in Seattle, Washington. There is no situation where when you order something in the state of Washington, especially from a retailer in Washington, you will not be charged sales tax. I was not charged sales tax. Very suspicious. Considering all their positive reviews I have to wonder if there AI phone bot is doing them a great disservice. What you get when you replace people with machines I suppose.

I am absolutely excited about how well my brand new Seydel Session Steel 1847 harmonicas play! Your company has taken my orders, packaged, and shipped my orders with speed, and professionalism, making buying harmonicas over the counter a waste of money and time! When attempting to order directly from the Seydel factory, I found it nearly impossible to order a harmonica, yet contacting your company made the process seamless! Stainless reed technology is something I only heard of recently, but I am so happy with my new harmonica choices over and above “Lee Oskar” and “Hohner!.”

The customer service was excellent and Anna was very helpful. The harmonica was reasonably priced so I will definitely be a repeat customer. I bought a Polar (instead of my usual Hohner) because I liked the price so the only question that remains to be answered is will it hold up and last for a while. But I'm very impressed and pleased with your company.
