Habe mir eine Härkila Scandinavian Hose gekauft, beim ersten Einsatz im Revier im leichten Gestrüpp sofort ein Riss im Kniebereich, von Wegen strapazierfähig, die Hose ist für die Jagd absolut ungeeignet, maximal für einen Sonntagsspaziergang. Weder Hubertus Fieldsports noch Härkila nehmen sich was von der Sache an. Ein Stern ist noch Zuviel, für 120,--€ erwarte ich mehr.

Harkila Clim8 Heated Jacket
Bought as a present - has not been used a great deal - the heated element switches off after 30 seconds. I have contacted Harkila Directly and to say they have been useless is an understatement. They will do nothing without a receipt, I had registered the coat on their website when the coat was bought (for the extended warranty) and the app to operate the coat - despite this they will do nothing. I will not be buying any of their products and will be encouraging friends not to.

I purchases a pair of Orton Zipped Harkila wellingtons to replace some Aigle wellies that had sprung a leak. They are kept in the dry and out of sunlight and only used for dog walks and around the garden. After 2 years the rubber uppers have perished and cracked on both left and right boots and they both leak in multiple places - not impressed as these are expensive zipped boots

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I purchased a heated jacket from Härkila and only used it a couple of times. Around a month outside the warranty and it doesn’t heat up! Avoid this company they clearly don’t care about customer service. Wish I had gone a better brand for a product that would last me more than 18 months

Shambles of a company. Had a pair of £300 boots off them with a 1 year garontee. 2 months in one boot has failed. Oh. This was my fault so they did not replace them.

Ignorant in emails.

I broke a clip on an old Harkila Bino Harness..
I contacted Harkila Support thinking there would be little chance of obtaining a replacement. How wrong could I have been. The exceptional Support Team not only located a replacement plus spare but shipped EVERYTHING free of charge arriving with me in just 2 working days. My experience of Harkila Customer Support was nothing sort of stunning and fully deserving of a 5 star rating - THANK YOU HARKILA

Harkila are are con artists as soon as they have your money they dont care what happens to the products. I had a pair of boots about 4 years ago hardly used them for the first 2 years and always cleaned them and oiled them in there oil. the past 2 years ive used them once every 2 weeks and they have fallen apart, the sole has all but fallen off. I had to save up for these boots now im left with nothing and need to save again to get a new pair of Crispy boots a company that cares and make quality products. Harkila can 🖕

J’avais acheté ce modèle de bottes de chasse de chez Härkila, réputé « haut de gamme » : nubuck, membrane GORE‑TEX, semelle Vibram, etc. Au début, j’étais plutôt satisfait : bon maintien, bon confort.

Mais très rapidement, la botte a montré un défaut sérieux : la jonction entre la partie rigide du talon et la zone « plus molle » s’est mise à exercer une pression intolérable sur mon talon. Avec l’usage, l’espace entre l’aspect mou et l’aspect rigide s’est altéré, créant des blessures intenses au talon. Résultat : la botte est devenue inutile pour marcher sans douleur.

Ce qui me déçoit encore davantage : malgré la promesse d’un produit « premium », le service après-vente ne m’a offert aucun soutien : ni remboursement, ni échange, ni solution acceptable. Autrement dit, j’ai acheté un produit coûteux et je me retrouve avec une paire inutilisable, sans aide de la marque ou du vendeur.

Pour une marque qui se présente comme fabricant de bottes de chasse haut de gamme, c’est franchement inacceptable.

The guarantee isn’t worth the paper its printed on- my boots have leaked for the 3rd time all replaced via the retailer, which is good- retailer ceases trading- Harkila no longer interested- the guarantee is from Harkila not the retailer so honour it please

Gurunbdsätzich haben die Produkte eine hohe Qalität. Jedoch lösen sich bei meinen Hisenträgern die Beschichtungen, was bei dieser Preisklasse nicht passieren darf!

I had a small issue with a hunting jacket. After emailing Harkila first thing Monday morning to explain the issue, they responded immediately. Professional, proactive, customer focused and a perfect resolution. My replacement jacket (the original was under warranty) will arrive tomorrow. This is a company that truly cares about their customers. They are loyal, knowledgable with excellent clothing for hunting and the outdoors. Thanks to Julie and Michael.

Harkila Fjell Fleece Jacket- Poor quality.

I have been purchasing Harkila clothing for years. I recently purchased the Harkila Fjell Fleece Jacket for hunting around spring time.

I wore the fleece for a grand total of 4 days before the left hand pocket had a large gaping hole in the lining.
This was not heavily used and nothing was stored in the pockets at all.

Really disappointed and dissatisfied with the product, it seems like Harkila has declined in quality over the years.

I wrote an email to customer care explaining what had happened. I also asked for a refund so I could purchase another one of their jackets that appeared better quality.
I was unfortunately denied a refund and Harkila offered to send my fleece to a tailor who would sew up the pocket.

I was not happy with this alternative as the stitching on the pocket will only come undone again as it is now a weak spot!
This should not happen with a product that is only 4 days old and not had any heavy use.

Will never purchase from Harkila again.

Enttäuschende Erfahrung – Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!

Ich habe für 269 Franken einen Rucksack gekauft, der von Anfang an extrem laut beim Tragen war – ein absolutes No-Go, besonders für ein Produkt, das für die Jagd konzipiert sein soll.

Mein Versuch, eine Lösung zu finden, wurde zum Kundendienst-Albtraum. Der Hersteller verwies mich an den Verkäufer, der mir mitteilte, ich müsse den Rucksack einschicken und wochenlang auf eine Rückmeldung warten. Für diesen Preis hätte ich erwartet, dass ich einfach zu einem Vertriebspartner gehen kann, um das Problem zu klären – nicht wochenlang im Ungewissen zu bleiben!

Nachdem ich erneut den Hersteller kontaktiert hatte, wurde mir klar, dass mein Anliegen nicht ernst genommen wurde. Statt einer individuellen Antwort erhielt ich nur eine standardisierte, nichtssagende Rückmeldung. Die Firma präsentiert sich als kundennah, doch das Gegenteil ist der Fall: Man kümmert sich schlicht nicht um die Kunden!

Ich kann dieses Produkt nicht empfehlen – im Gegenteil, ich rate dringend davon ab, es zu kaufen. Für diesen Preis oder ein paar Franken mehr bekommt man einen Rucksack von einer Marke, die ihre Kunden ernst nimmt und einen vernünftigen Service bietet. Nie wieder!

Disappointing Experience – Absolutely Not Recommended!

I purchased a backpack for 269 francs, which was extremely loud when carried right from the start—completely unacceptable, especially for a product that is supposed to be designed for hunting.

Trying to resolve this issue turned into a customer service nightmare. The manufacturer referred me to the seller, who told me I had to send the backpack in and wait weeks for a response. For this price, I expected to be able to go to a distribution partner to address the issue directly—not to be left waiting for weeks without a solution!

When I contacted the manufacturer again, it became clear that they did not take my concern seriously. Instead of a personalized response, I received a generic, meaningless reply. The company presents itself as being customer-oriented, but the reality is the exact opposite: they simply do not care about their customers!

I cannot recommend this product—on the contrary, I strongly advise against buying it. For this price or a few francs more, you can get a backpack from a company that actually values its customers and provides proper service. Never again!

Overpriced Chinese tatt, AVOID.
£160 for a Metso wooly fleece, 1/2 zip top.
Kept in its original packaging until it was cold outside. Worn twice to the office over my shirt and clumps of wool started falling out. Gave it 1 wash on a delicate wool cycle and all the loose wool gathered into bobbley clumps all over it. Spent ages brushing them off and had a tennis ball sized fluff ball in my hands. Thinking it was OK, I wore it to the airport, where every time I sat down, there was a scattering of dark brown fluff.
Every time I touch the top stuff gets covered in the brown lint. It's unwearable.
Contacted the customer service by email, with photos and video, who asked for receipt/proof of purchase. Sent it and no reply 3 weeks later. Not interested at all. A solitary rogue product can be excused with decent customer handling but reading these it seems a right cowboy set-up.
Shoddy products and non-existent customer service. Wish I could upload a photo to this review to show you how bad the item really is. Had plenty of fleece and wool products from Schoffel and Barbour without a problem.
First and last purchase of this substandard brand.

HARKILA REIDMAR MID 2.0 GTX DARK BROWN first pair lasted 5 months before the wire broke, sent back to retailer as advised by Harkila, wire replaced boots returned. Wire retaining ratchet clasp came away from boot straight after return, sent boots back. Replacement boots arrived, now 6 month old sole coming away from upper? Below is from Harkila web site

They are certainly not the cheapest and definitely not the best!!! Whats worrying me is that as a family we have spent nearly £1000 on Harkila boots !! And if this is the standard we have wasted money especially as they are not worn everyday.

Worn these wellies every day, for 21/2 hours for dog walking, washed off and stored in a dark boot room until next day, lasted 3 months! Sole to upper sealing band came away and rubber started to break down on the upper, of course started to leak, but very comfortable up until then. I have tried all of the so called top branded wellies but they are all pretty rubbish,,,,,,Going back to leather walking boots!

Bought a pair of Harkila wellies in March 2022, within a year they had split across the seem. They were under warranty and I was given a replacement and told they were under a 5year warranty. All good so far until 16months later the next pair have done exactly the same. Emailed the shop who refuse to replace them now saying they’re not under warranty and it’s down to wear and tear. Wear and tear after 16 months of a pair of wellies is quite laughable when you use them for fishing and the occasional dog walk. Unless they’ve changed manufacture stay well clear.

I have bought the Pro hunter, glove and hats; Vector 2 layer rain jacket and Northfell insulated jacket. All are extremely well made, and great dexterity. The Pro Hunter is class leading in durability and do it all fabric waterproof jacket. The Northfell, superb comfort and agility compared to my Fjallraven down coat. The Vector is a nice alternative to a traditional shell jacket, due to the softer fabric, 2 lined inner layer.

My main criticism have been the quality of the zips, which do not last as long as they should. Not a patch on the original Barbour Northumbrian brass zips. The original `pro hunter is too heavy for UK use, I believe this has been changed with newer models. Having worn Fjalraven and Chevalier jackets, Harkila score highly on technical function and practicality. I would argue that Fjalraven jackets are more durably made (but compromise on technical fabrics); yet to try the Laksen jackets. I suspect theirs' are better for traditional wool made products having purchased jumpers and seen their traditional jackets in shops.

It would be more helpful if Harilia learnt from PHD Design jackets in terms of rating the weather conditions in temperature terms - provide details on the gram and warmth factors of their insulation.
