Hammant & Morgan controller…
I needed a Hammant & Morgan controller to operate some recently purchased Hornby Dublo locos. Handem had a good choice of controllers and most importantly, all had been thoroughly checked and PAT tested. I bought a Duette which was in excellent condition for it's age and it works well. I wonder if it could be the same unit that I owned over 60 years ago!! The controller was well packed and delivered very quickly. I can thoroughly recommend this firm

All small businesses should operate this way
Andrew at HandM gave me detailed, clear and swift responses to my questions. When I chose to order the Clipper controller the delivery was prompt and the package well wrapped. All small business should operate this way. 5 stars from me.

Although I have not used the device I purchased, so do not yet know if it works, it seems to be good, and the service from the company was good. However the high cost of postage, customs and taxes makes buying in Britain from Europe not worth while. The device cost £5, getting hold of it cost me a further £15.

Dear Mr Lord. We should point out you are in FRANCE.
As you say you paid about £5 for the PCB and we charged you another (about) £5 for shipping. France seems to be very keen to impose huge taxes/import duties on items delivered from the UK.
Our experience indicates that they are the World's Worst Offenders!
Australia, Indonesia even the USA, generally do not charge our customers any import fees.
I'm a bit disappointed that you are downgrading us to only 4 stars because of France's unfriendly practice, but I do understand your frustration.

proffessionalism,friendliness,100percent working module which will probably outlast me.glad to see there're still craftsmen around who take great pride in their products. If I need further replacements in the future I,ll be back
