Hana Travel Omdömen 8

I read the reviews and thought Hana travel would be a great option. I ordered online and accidentally ordered in GBP instead of Turkish Lira. I emailed and asked if i could change it to TL - they emailed back and said no problem, I can pay the driver in TL. I looked in their website to see how much it would cost in TL and made sure I had the cash ready. When I arrived there was no one with a card and our name, so I went to the booth on the message. On arrival the gentleman didn't speak English and just grunted at the other driver. After a couple of minutes we followed a guy to a old van. He put the music on very loud, and there was no air conditioning so it was hot. He did offer us water bottles which was nice. When we arrived at the hotel, there was a problem and he wouldn't take the money. He didn't speak a word of English so he just kept pointing at the email. I didn't know what the issue was. Apparently we needed to pay more, so I gave more. Then he was still pointing and typed in an app that translated to English that I needed to pay for the return as well, but it was more than the website. So as it was only £10 more I just paid it.
In our return, we were picked up on time, and the van was newish. When we arrived at the airport, the driver wouldn't let me leave. Again, he didn't speak a word of English. When I say it was hot, it was boiling at 37°- at 10am - as there was a heat wave. I kept phoning the Hana office but there was no answer. I showed him a translation explaining I had paid. So he said he had to phone the office. After about 15 minutes in the sweltering heat, he eventually got through and nodded that I could go.
The whole interaction there and back wasn't particularly pleasant. I wouldn't use them again, but if you speak Turkish you'll be fine.

Very old car, the lights look great in photos but everything is worn out and worst of all - NO air conditioning and the window wouldn’t open (well the Air Con was on but it has absolutely no power at all). It was a sauna inside which we were stuck in for 90 mins.
We were also forced to pay upfront at the airport check in desk, probably because they felt we might not pay after the experience.

But worst part - READ and BEWARE before you even consider booking them -
Halfway into journey driver pulled into a disused petrol station converted into a run-down restaurant and souvenir shop.
Driver said he needed to stop for a break, and as soon as he stopped, someone from the shop came and opened the door and said “welcome, please come inside we have food we have gifts, the car will stop here for a MINIMUM of 15 mins”. I realised immediately that this was pre-planned and we would likely be pressured into buying overpriced gifts/food. I immediately said no and told the driver that the transfer was supposed to be non-stop and we needed to get to the hotel before the hotel dinner finishes as we had kids with us. Once we said we are not going to the shop and won’t eat he then carried on driving but then he wanted more money for the journey because he hasn’t taken his break. As we had pre-paid I didn’t argue but I’ve been turkey 3 times before, no other transfers do this. When we got to hotel I was forced to tip him 10 euros on a journey that was supposed to cost 60 euros and was pure hell because of the heat. The car had no window that opened, it was run down, one of the seatbelts were broken and so we had driven without one on.

In other VIP transfers that we used later on the same holiday and on past holidays they always offer free water and WiFi. This car did not have WiFi and whilst he had water, which he handed to us and the kids, after we opened them he passed us a card that said each bottle cost 1 euro.

A terrible experience on all fronts. Be careful about booking them. I’ve used other companies before and on this trip afterwards and they were always impeccable. Don’t trust them.

Super. Pünktlicher Fahrer, preis Leistung top. Mercedes mit richtiger Klimaanlage. Hatte auch Kindersitz ohne aufpreis mit. Waren rundum zufrieden.

Fantastic driver and person as well! The pickup was smooth from Antalya airport and he was on time. We arrived perfectly at the resort hotel (topkapi palace). I had absolutely no issues with the experience and will definitely use Hanna travel again in the future.

Bookede en vip taxi bus fra lufthavnen til hotellet i Side - virkelig en god oplevelse - var klar da vi kom, holdte og ventede på hotellet da vi skulle hjem. Hurtig og nemt. Endvidere var det meget billigere end rejseselskabet bus service.
