Several months ago I was approached by Hallbrook Partners. It was suggested that I may have been mis sold shares by a financial company and that representation could be made to the (Financial Services Compensation Scheme(FSCS) on my behalf.

I was contacted by Hallbrook Partners unexpectedly about some shares I had purchased many years ago, and which had subsequently become worthless. I was somewhat sceptical, as I usually ignore unsolicited emails, letters and phone calls. However after looking into the matter a little further I decided to contact Hallbrook Partners, I was very happy with the way they dealt with my claim and I received financial compensation surprisingly quickly. I consider the fee they charged reasonable, because I had just written the money off, and I would not have pursued the claim by myself.
So if you are in doubt I would certainly say ring them up, see what they say, and I think you will be impressed enough to consider taking the claim further.

One day "out of the blue" I received a letter from Ashley at Hallbrook saying I may have a claim on the Financial Services Compensation Scheme for mis-sold/negligently sold share investments. This related to events that happened well over 20 years ago! I had only a limited recollection of relevant events and no documentation whatever given the lapse of time. Ashley explained that this was not a problem and given that they did not require a fee unless and until my claim was successful I clearly had nothing to lose by proceeding.
Ashley assisted by completing all necessary documentation to support my claim and submitted it to the FSCS keeping me informed throughout. As a result I recovered a significant sum. None of this would have happened without the help of Ashley and his colleagues and frankly they earned every penny of the fee paid to them from the compensation I recovered. However, do not expect this kind of result "overnight". It takes time. Just leave it to them and if your claim is valid you will see results.
I can highly recommend Hallbrook and thank them indeed for all the help they have given in this matter and for making this happen.

Brilliant service
I was contacted out of the blue by Hallbrook Partners, who offered to recover my losses on an investment that I made over 20 years ago. I couldn’t even remember the investment, but I thought “nothing ventured, nothing gained” and agreed to let them pursue a claim against the FSCS. Having completed the paperwork, the claim was submitted on the 17th October. I was amazed to get confirmation from the FSCS on 21st November that my claim had been successful and the proceeds, less Hallbrooks percentage, was paid into my bank account today (23rd November). To say I was delighted would be an understatement. In the circumstances, I have no hesitation in recommending Hallbrooks

Had a call from Ewan about 6 months ago about miss selling of shares which I bought about 25 years ago. I'd given up with the shares and put it down to a bad experience and they were now worthless and to move on, but Ewan said there might be compensation awaiting you if we win the case. He took me through the procedure seemlessly but I was a little sceptical about the outcome. True to his word he thought Hallbrook Partners had a very good chance of winning the case and here we are six months down the line and victorious.
