Hackworthy & Sons Ltd Omdömen

The two men who did our move worked tirelessly to pack everything carefully, and unpack. All done with good humour throughout.
The next day they brought the big lorry down Cornish lanes to my new home. Huge respect.
They did a fantastic job.

Fantastic company would highly recommend. On the day to move the gentleman arrived on time very friendly and professional. The move went smoothly . I felt very comfortable and enjoyed our banter . Thank you for all your help .

We were so impressed by the care we received, both in a personal way and also for our belongings.
The team were very patient, and hard working in high temperatures. There was always a kindness and willingness to give of their best.
I am already recommending Hackworthy to friends as a very reliable family firm.

Great lads, never complained

From the initial visit for the quote, to all your excellent communication and admin, through to the team that were with us on moving day, I couldn’t have asked for more.

The move went so smoothly - your team was quick and efficient, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were very impressed and it made the day really stress-free.

Thank you again and I will whole-heartedly recommend Hackworthy & Sons to anyone that is planning a move.

Good communication about time of delivery. Stu & Glynn were very efficient & professional. They paid careful consideration to the transfer, assembly & positioning of my new furniture, making sure I was completely happy with everything before they left. Great job, thank you guys.

The process of moving is always a stressful one but Jason & Dave from Hackworthy were brilliant through out the exercise. They were efficient, helpful, polite and friendly. On what was a fairly complex four day move they used their initiative when our plans didn’t quite tally with the actuality of the task and they did it without any complaint. Thanks lads. We would definitely recommend Hackworthy based on our experince.

Nothing but 5 stars for Dan and his team. As expected, moving days are full of stress, however the Hackworthy team were amazing at handling everything. Very professional, took great care of fragile items and a real credit to the company. If, and that’s a big if, we ever move again, we will be sure to use their services.

A huge thank you to the removal chaps Aaron, Roger & Dan! Guy’s you were simply the best! They were all so professional & courteous…such hard working lads & nothing was too much trouble so kind, friendly & such happy lads! Everything was packed so well with so much care taken into packing our precious household bits & pieces! It was such a pleasure having them at the house! We are moving to Australia & my husband was away during the removal & I had 3 large suitcases which had to be taken to a B&B & Roger so very kindly took them to the overnight accomodation for me…so so kind of him … thank you again Roger & thank you all Guy’s for an AMAZING stress free 3 days you were all BRILLIANT!!!!

Absolutely brilliant company. Very helpful in every way. Thoroughly recommend

My move from Devon to Portishead

I invited four firms to tender for packing up and removals for my downsizing move from Devon to Portishead. My sprawling Devon farmhouse was a large property with a lot of antique furniture, artwork and books accrued over a lifetime that would take a skilled team at least two days to pack up.
I was most impressed by the professional approach of Hackworthy's representative, he clearly knew the removals business well and was able to give reassuring answers to all my questions.
Their quote turned out to be the lowest and was less than half of the highest. It was a no brainer to appoint them.On the day the move went smoothly when their well organised team went into action. Despite many difficulties they maintained good humour at all times and dealt with problems as they appeared. it is worth noting that there were no breakages.
I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a competitive and reliable removals contractor.

Very professional I had the full packing package and it was Brillant well recommend it. Everything was packed beautifully and no breakages. Office staff very helpful from start to finish
I fully recommend Hackworthy

a great service from two great guys & the office support was fantastic

Patrick and Stuart came to take away our old sofas and deliver our new ones. They were so efficient and lovely and considerate of our house and tidied up after themselves. Great service!

Fantastic service, friendly staff. Excellent 2 day move. Very efficient.

Very efficient and hard working and took great care with our items. Would recommend to friends if they are moving.

No complaints! Good value for money. Excellent communication, reliable and hardworking. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend!

I completed the online inventory, and got a quote with them, which was a lot lower than the competition, so I gave them a call to talk it through. Vicky at Hackworthy took the time to make sure that the right number of people and vans were assigned to the job, making sure she understood the move I was making and spending the time to get it right, this was a great start. On the morning of the move the first Van arrived bang on time, and not only were they completely cool wafting for us to get our cats in their travel boxes, Dan took the time to walk though every room with us making sure he was clear on exactly what needed to go, and what was to stay.

I then took the cats and a few little things on the hour and a half drive for the move and Dan's team followed along after the vans were loaded. Unloading was completed very quickly, but also very well, going to the trouble to reassemble the bed and make sure everything was where we wanted it.

all the way though the guys were friendly & polite, everything was moved quickly, and nothing at all was broken. They also left the old property tidy, going as far as cleaning up the tea station I'd set up for them. I can't find anything to criticise, and therefor five stars.

The Hackworthy team made the move less stressful, and were not only efficient, but also paying attention to what I needed, and what needed to be done.

Hackworthy & Sons moved my 89 year old mother-in-law from Wiltshire where she had lived in the house for 35 years to Devon. The two Tom’s were amazing, they were incredibly polite and professional, both, handling the move with enormous respect and sensitivity.

Hackworthy conducted a video call viewing and provided a very competitive quote. Overall the service was impressive, communication was excellent and I can only highly recommend them
