From initial enquiry through to mortgage offer the communication and service has been first class. During my engagement with Habito I changed property three times due to circumstances and the application also needed redone and submitted and in each episode I never felt like I was inconveniencing anyone even though I got a bit needy at times and they were very understanding and reassuring in keeping me updated. Scott and Kyndra dealt with my case and both were exceptional. Thanks for all your help.

She was clear, responsive and took the time to explain everything in a way that actually made sense, which really helped take the stress out of the process. Habito is an incredibly easy app to use with simple questions that lead to clear outcomes. I went back and forth with Toby several times and his patience, clarity of explanation and support was very much appreciated. He even worked out of hours to lock a rate in for me and has assured that we can review this again should the rates drop.

As a first time buyer, I had little knowledge about how to get a mortgage and what option was best for me and my circumstances. I contacted Habito and never looked back. I was quickly introduced to Alicia who guided me through the process. I was later provided an easy to understand report including the various lenders and rates with recommendations which made it very simple. After I had chosen the lender I wished to go with, I was passed on to Jo who guided me through the application process and kept in contact whilst awaiting to hear back from the lender. This was later approved. Both Alicia and Jo were very responsive to any questions I had or any further information I provided. I knew I was in good hands and would recommend Habito to anyone looking for any mortgage advice.

Appreciate all of the help from Teddy and Dan on getting us set up really quickly and always being responsive, proactive and providing good advice on the purchase process.

TL;DR: Almost paid a previous broker £500 to remortgage, but Habito did it completely for free (and promised me £25 cashback upon completion with them!). My mortgage expert, Olivia, was fantastic. She answered all my questions, put my mind at ease, and worked fast to lock in a 4.4% HSBC deal to protect me from rising market rates. Highly recommend!

Full Review:
I had been trying to find a good remortgage deal for months. A previous broker I used told me I couldn't look at product transfers until April 1st (4 months before my renewal) and said if I wanted to move to another bank, I’d have to pay them a £500 fee. With global news causing mortgage rates to rise steadily, it was incredibly depressing watching rates climb while being told I was stuck waiting unless I paid up.

Thankfully, a prompt in my Monzo app led me to check out Habito, and the difference was night and day. After answering a few profile questions, I was assigned to Olivia as my mortgage expert via their chat system. Olivia was highly professional and patiently answered all of my anxious questions. She confirmed there were absolutely no hidden fees (for Habito or the lender), we could review the rate anytime before completion in case they drop, and I was advised that I'm will £25 cashback for remortgaging with them (once completed). That definitely beats paying someone £500!

We originally tried to grab a 4.2% rate with Clydesdale Bank, but Olivia honestly advised me that Clydesdale was pulling their deals by the end of the day. Because it was already 3 PM, there wasn't enough time for underwriting. I quickly finished uploading my ID, payslips, and bank statements to Habito's incredibly easy-to-use site so we were ready for the next option.
First thing the next morning, Olivia reached out having found the next best deal with HSBC at 4.4%, and we locked it in.

I am kicking myself that I relied on my previous broker and didn't reach out to Habito sooner, but I am so happy to finally be protected from further rate rises. I had a wonderful experience with Olivia and the whole Habito platform. I look forward to working with them over the next few months to see if we can catch a better rate, but if not, they have well and truly rescued me.

Monzo recommended Habito, and I'm so glad they did, as the timing was spot on to update our mortgage. Olivia, our adviser, was very helpful, professional, and engaging, and gave us the best options and kept us informed of all the necessary information. It was all done and completed in a couple of days. Fantastic service.

Toby was very quick, clear and communicative. Their online portal is very user friendly and I was pleased with the mortgage deals they offered.

Used Habito three times, once for my initial first-time loan and then two subsequent remortgage deals. Pleased with the service each time. Sameer has positively supported me on numerous occasions (both remortgage deals), and answered my questions thoughtfully. Only criticism is the 1 working day turnaround for responses to what I imagine are some standard questions, which drags the process on slightly. However, happy overall and will continue to use in the future.

I found Ahmet very helpful and helpful responded promptly to a number of questions.
He found me a good deal and using the Habito dashboard is quite straightforward.
