No communication, very poor experience so far and a waste of a significant amount of money! Stay away, even asked if i should leave a review of my experience so on and days later, still nothing! Wish i could give negative stars...

Total scam. Paid thousands to simply loose the money and the grit people cant work with my team. They call it disrespect and have no ability to work with the customer. Once they have your funds, they are done. TOTAL SCAM!!

Initially, I had a full team emailing, calling and communicating by email, phone and then we moved to Discord. They came up with this bullshit as class that I needed to take before my marketing campaign could move forward. I got online for the class which was run by Chris Campbell. I completed the class and the worksheets. I submitted the worksheets over a month ago but since that time, crickets. I’ve reached out to them for status and crickets. I just sent an email to the team and all the mailboxes are now undeliverable. I checked for reviews, legitimacy, scams, etc before I sent my money and nothing came up. Now, I’m getting results that indicate it’s all a scam. Well, this won’t end well but here we go!

This company is a scam. Ethan Tryhubczak frauded us and lied. He said he would do services for 4k and then never answered again.

I paid for Grits & Gain Society in November 2025 expecting professional marketing services specifically ads and funnels to be built for my business.
What I received from Grits & Gain Social and Justin Laird was nothing.
Months later there has not been a single ad created. Not one funnel has been built. No marketing assets. No deliverables. No visible work completed despite payment being made.
Communication has been just as bad as the lack of results. Messages posted in the Grits & Gain Discord go unanswered. Attempts to get support or clarification receive no response. When trying to book time through their system, the calendars now show appointments pushed out for months, making it effectively impossible to get assistance.
So the actual experience with Grits & Gain Social has been paying for marketing services that were never delivered and then being unable to get meaningful communication afterward. When you hire a marketing company, you expect execution—ads launched, funnels built, guidance provided. Instead, what I experienced was payment taken with no work completed and no accountability.
If you are considering Grits & Gain Social DON’T!!! I paid for services that never materialized. The TikTok account has been inactivated no response no nothing! The ghost team went ghost!!!
No ads.
No funnels.
No support.
No response.
That has been my experience with Grits & Gain Marketing.

They straight ripped me off for 4100. They won't return my calls. They wouldn't respond when I told them I didn't have the link to get on a meeting. I paid them thousands of dollars the whole time they led me to belive that I was going to make 10000 in 60 days kept asking if I could handle that. They did nothing for me. They also go by grit & gains media and have the same reviews ripping people off. I was in the same group of three in February and he burned the other guy for 5500 got me for 4100. I have all kinds of proof of what I am saying. Michael sockriter look me up on fb before u hand them money i will show you and let you listen to a recorded note I took. Plus 1st phone call. Because they are going to say this is on us but unlike other I been around awhile and got that covered.

If I could leave negative 20 stars I would. This "company" has to be the most unprofessional group of people I have ever encountered in all of my life. Like the other reviews, the initial onboarding was fine. That was where the decent experience ended. They did NOT produce a single thing that was promised. Absolutely zero communication and completely ghosted me after I demanded that they either do what I paid them $3500 to do, or to refund my investment. NOTHING. They've done NOTHING. After multiple attempts to get on the same page with them, now they have completely ghosted me and will not even communcate. Absolute JOKE of a company. The head honcho, some wannabe viking, had the audacity to tell me that my "offer was $*&%".... except nobody from this "marketing" team ever had any type of conversation about anything with me. He resorted to throwing insults and deflection when I didn't back down. I've made multiple attempts to bite my tongue, just so I could TRY to work with these pathetic excuses for professionals, only to be absolutely ghosted. I have been left with zero results, zero patience and a lof of embarrassment that I gave this joke a chance.

I’ve been with grit and gains from the ground to the penthouse. Chris stands on business, he’s a man of his word. He’s an OG for sure. If you have a question he’s got an answer.

Scam!!! Be careful

To keep it short, I was on a call with Justin Laird, one of their employees. Justin gave me attitude and acted like a smart-ass off the bat. This ruined every aspect of respect from human to human. If you want a good agency to work with, DO NOT work with this company. After sending the owner (Chris Campbell) an email of my experience, he decided to lie and claim that they didn't do anything wrong. He tried to make it look like I was mad or annoyed that they "turned down" my product, even though there was no discussion of accepting or turning down anything. After a chain of emails, this is what Chris said: "Please look in the mirror and be honest with yourself. Being successful as an entrepreneur takes radical self-awareness. We built this organization on honor, integrity, and respect which clearly you do not have.

P.S. Stop gossiping to people like a girl. Be honorable and remove that review because we both know it was a complete fabrication. A man of integrity would never gossip and participate in reputation destruction. That is disgusting behavior."

It's quite literally impossible for me to fabricate this review. How could I make something up for no reason? I was excited to work with them and the reality is that Justin acted disrespectful and showed he didn't care. That is the truth and I would have no reason to make something like this up.

As you can see, Chris cannot contain his emotions after receiving feedback on one of his employees. There also is no reason to be sexist. Gossiping like a girl? Are you that emotional you have to resort to being sexist Chris? Hope this shows everyone to stay away from this company.

I hired Grit & Gains Society for a performance-based social media marketing campaign that promised high-quality UGC content and ad management. What I got instead was delay after delay, vague communication, broken timelines, and ultimately a barrage of aggressive, unprofessional, and downright hostile messages from their founder.

From the start, expectations were missed. I was promised deliverables within 10–12 business days, yet the final videos took nearly a TWO months longer — and even then, the content was basic, uninspired, and far below the standard they hyped. When I raised concerns about missed deadlines and poor quality, I was met with deflection, gaslighting, and personal attacks. Their founder called me a “Karen” in writing, claimed I “sabotaged” my own campaign, and accused me of being “entitled” for asking for what I paid for.

Instead of addressing the issues or taking ownership, they chose to belittle me while pretending this was some kind of elite "partnership." They hide behind the idea of “performance marketing” and vague results-based language to avoid accountability. The reality is: they overpromise, underdeliver, and explode when questioned. After spending over $3,000 I didn't get a single lead, because they are a complete Mickey Mouse Club.

If you value professionalism, timelines, or basic client respect, stay far away from Grit & Gains Society. I’ve had better communication and integrity from budget freelancers than I received from this so-called "elite" team. They operate more like a cult of personality than a real agency.

Save your time, money, and energy. Hire a real marketing team.
