It took me a long time to get an available machine to charge my car, and it had persistent errors; dreadful experience.
But Tracey, who helped me, and helped me to find an alternative set of chargers, was absolutely brilliant: she rectified a miserable situation and had me quickly on my way, once I left the defective charger. A wonderful employee

I had a nightmare trying to recharge the battery of a rental car at Gridserve at Gatwick airport in the early hours of this morning. It turned out to be an issue with the car rather than the Grisdserve station. Their customer service was patient and helpful, providing an excellent level of support, which means a lot these days (special mention to June, who was fantastic!).

Great Customer Support!
First time using the service near killington lake on the M6. Had to contact customer service for assistance. Spoke with Tracey who was very efficient and got my car charging in no time despite my apparent ineptitude. THANK YOU Tracey!

Shocking company
Shocking company. Tried to charge my car at Strensham services machines all faulty. Charged me £6.50 to charge car and put no charge into my battery. Rang to tell them she just kept telling me it said on her system it had charged my car. Everyone was having problems promised to calll me back heard nothing

On a recent visit to the GRIDSERVE forecourt in Norwich I was immediately impressed either the politeness of all staff, particularly Emily who couldn’t do enough to help. It’s a super clean, modern and clearly well run facility. I will definitely be back and have already recommended it to all my associates with EVs.

Stopped at Gridserve Swansea West
Stopped at Gridserve Swansea West. Once again one of the chargers would not work. Managed a charge on another. However whenever I use the Gridserve chargers at Reading Eastbound Services, I have never had a problem.

Check your receipt thoroughly
Bought my first EV and used a public charging point for the first time last Monday25th March.
Visiting friends in Yorkshire I decided to stop at Leeming Bar services and use the Gridserve charger. Used my debit card contactless I followed the instructions and completed charging my car then asked for a receipt. After a short wait I got my receipt and checking the last four digits were correct (it only shows the last four digits) I continued on my journey. I was very surprised when I returned home and checked my bank account to find I had been charged a different amount to what was on the receipt. Contacted Gridserve and sent screenshots of my receipt and bank statement only to be told that the receipt was for someone else with a card that has the same last four digits as mine. After expanding the receipt on my phone I noticed the receipt was for 21/6/23 so was utterly surprised how I could get someone else's receipt that was ten months old. Gridserve says it can happen when someone else has a card with the same last four digits despite it being from last year. Not very happy with their system that can allow this to happen so if you do use their chargers be very aware of what can happen

We recently visited Gridserve Norwich…
We recently visited Gridserve Norwich for a coffee with my in-laws and were delighted to find that you could try out an electric car. I already own a BMW i3 and as we are looking to buy a second car that my father-in-law can get in and out of easily, and since he was with us, I took the opportunity to approach a member of staff and see whether we could try out the Volvo c40 that was on the forecourt.
The member of staff was Pawel who quickly navigated me through signing up for the drive and then took us to the car and explained its controls. So far, so good but it all went wrong when my father in law could not get into the car due to having had two hip replacements.
Pawel really excelled in this situation; helped my stranded father in law out (he had forced himself in and had become stuck!), made him realise that he was not the first to have this issue due the Volvos thick A and B pillars and then suggested the Tesla model Y which my father in law had no issues with.
We took this for a test drive instead. Thank you Pawel for a great experience, the no pressure approach,good impartial advice and most of all the simple humanity of dealing with my father in law who was embarrassed by his lack of mobility. Top marks and highly recommended.

Amazing. Reliable. Responsive.
We love gridserve they are always reliable to charge. We have only had one problem when the touchscreen didn’t respond. We got on the phone to customer service and the lovely gentleman had it sorted in minutes and even offered a refund for the 5 minutes of issues. Amazing. Reliable. Responsive.

Exemplary Customer Support by Gridserve
I confess to regarding Gridserve as "Just another EV charger company" but recent experience has made me upgrade this. I arrived to charge my EV at Knutsford Services South recently only to find that the Gridserve chargers had been closed down for servicing by the Gridserve engineers. Instead of the "Tough luck mate" attitude which I was half expecting, Tim, the Supervisor, and Matt and Gary, the Engineers, could not have been more friendly and helpful. They explained what they were doing, apologised for the delay, made certain I was OK and when they were completed gave me a complimentary charge. In all, they were the perfect Brand Ambassadors for Gridserve. Well done.
