Huge decline in service
I have been a customer of Greencloud for over 20 years and have recommended them to other organisations but not anymore. There was a decline in service and being caught up in the dreaded ‘service tickets’ over the last few years. A recurring issue with emails seemed to take longer and longer to resolve, in fact only getting resolved after insisting the matter was escalated to a senior member of the team. After another recent drop-in email service, I made a formal complaint as the issue was still unresolved after 3 weeks. The support team are unable to resolve the issue and asking us to do random things! It’s a level of incompetency which I had complained about that resulted in being served notice to close all our email accounts down in 30 days!
Customers are at the heart of every business, and it takes a lot for me to leave a negative review but Greenclouds’ response to emails not working was shocking and patronising. I have since secured a new email host who have been a breath of fresh air. I’m saddened that after over 20 years of being a loyal customer I was given 30 days to leave for challenging poor service.
Look around for other email hosts so your business is not compromised.
It's unprofessional to respond to customers as you just have. Basic customer service rule is to take off-line and resolve. Stating that staff are incompetent for not resolving a recurring issue after 3 weeks is valid by any ones standard. This is not being derogatory, it's stating a fact. I would invest in some basic customer service training.

They Don’t Fulfill Their Promises
I wanted to try their free trial hosted desktop.
Briefly: I couldn’t.
After registration I received an email that my trial account should’ve been ready in a few hours.
And I had to contact them 2 days later via email, which I didn’t get any response to.
On the 5th day I got a follow-up automated email from the company about their performance on hosted desktop.
This was ridiculous...
So I’ve answered to this email, and I’ve gotten an apology and promise, that my account should’ve been accessible shortly. Even one of their representative called me.
As you guess: NOTHING.
And I’ve received an email yesterday which is as follows:
Hi,
Many apologies. We cannot help you on this occasion
Thanks
So I will certainly not recommend them. As they are even unable to serve an individual request.
They don’t provide their free trial as advertised.
So what do you expect from a company which behaves like that.

Cheap, cheerful and effective doesnt sound right does it! But Green Cloud are inexpensive for the service provided; a great bunch of people to deal with and more importantly a fantastic service. Only one down time in the 3 years I have been with them and that was resolved in minutes. I certainly wouldnt consider changing.

Support is great. The hosted email service is generally reliable with only occasional issues. As I say, support is very responsive.

Very happy with the service
Been a customer of Green Cloud for over 2 years. Have never had a reason to consider migrating from them (and there have been viable opportunities). Tech staff understand my requirements and Sales Manager goes out of his way to provide us what we need. As with all technology, sometimes there are issues and the odd gremlin to deal with but we rarely do we ever have outages that mean we are stopped in our tracks.
Would recommend these guys with little hesitation.
