This is a great online nursery. I bought some Kangaroo Paw plants, the Bush fire(orangey yellow) and pink ones. I love them. The plants were a great size with loads of flowers. There were all in great condition and packed really well to prevent any damage. Quick too. I would definitely recommend and buy from them again.

Very pleased with the quality of the plants. Exactly as described. The packaging was good and the delivery driver was courteous.

I am delighted with my purchase of 16 Euonymus Japonicus which were bought to replace box. I was impressed by the attention and care given to packing which ensured they were delivered in the same perfect state as when they'd left the nursery. Root systems also looked vigorous and will have given them a great start after planting.

I am disappointed with some of the Hidcote lavenders I ordered. One of the 7.5 litre plants had dead branches. When I contacted Grasslands they said to just cut them out, but as a result it looks a mess. The smaller 5 litre plants don’t look like Hidcote - I have them in a hedge with other 5 litre Hidcote plants but they are definitely different so I’ll have to replace them. Wish I could attach a photo to show this.

Bought 2 red robin plants. When we got him we planted both plants in the same border, so same soil quality, same watering, same amount of sun exposure. One is doing well and one died.

I contacted via email with photos and someone called Katy responded. For some reason a person called Claire then took over the response, her approach was very blunt and quite rude, saying ‘well it must have been okay when you bought it’ and saying it must have been our aftercare despite both being treated exactly the same.

Customer care lacking and I wouldn’t let Claire near my customer emails if I was in the business. Puts me off buying from them again purely for the aftercare response. No apology, no offer of replacement or even a discount if we repurchase.

I obtained a much better product than I expected. Delivery, packaging and quality were excellent. Thanks

we bought 3 pleached trees from here and when they were delivered they were far too big for where we wanted them situated. I contacted customer service & they were very helpful & arranged for the return & replacement of my new trees with a very quick turnaround. The delivery guy Kevin was great too. Thank you. The trees look amazing and we are ordering 2 more.

My first order from this company. Received a good sized healthy Choisya, extremely well packaged, so in really good condition. Will use this nursery again.

Easy to order and responded to my specific access needs regarding our restricted narrow road…lo and behold, the right plants turned up at the right time and date with the right sized delivery truck. Plants all in excellent health. Will certainly be using Grasslands again.

Be very wary ordering root ball hedging. I have used Grasslands previously without any issue & been pleased. However, I ordered 15 root ball laurels in Jan which did arrive in a good condition and I was very pleased with, as stated on another Trustpilot review, but unfortunately & sadly these plants have not taken well, despite scrupulous attention after planting, according to Grasslands information. It does state in the info. "that root ball plants may experience transport shock" and "expect to possibly replace one or two plants" but I did not expect 3 to have died and 6 to be dying out of the 15 ordered. Despite several comprehensive e mails with photographs, Grassland would not replace the unsatisfactory laurels. The best that was offered was a 30% discount, which I had to take as previous hedging came from Grasslands, so wanted them all to be the same. The replacement laurels arrived in containers & appear of a superior quality, but, after further checking, they are root ball in a container pot! The "headline" advert states in a container pot, hence my reordering because of a container pot, but a lot further down in the small print, it states root ball in a container pot - what is the point of this? Still, I will certainly never order root ball hedging again as there is uncertainty of the survival.

Fantastic company with the most beautiful range of plants! They very kindly donated some plants for my disabled son’s sensory garden, and the colours and smells are amazing. Brilliant customer service, fast and well packaged delivery, would highly recommend

From ordering our pleached trees to receiving a delivery date was so quick.
Delivered within a week and can honestly say the trees were fantastic quality.

This is the second time I’ve bought a tree from Grasslands Nursery. This time I bought a pear tree and it arrived incredibly fast. The quality of the tree was as described and in super condition. Excellent customer service, the delivery driver (Pavel) helped to place the heavy tree in my garden, he was so professional. Highly recommend Grasslands every time. Thank you so much.
