Produktinformation

US Wellness Meats’ Ground Pork works great in casseroles, as a pizza topping, or for making homemade sausage patties. Some other recipe favorites include: Stir Fry, Pasta Sauce, Chili, Meatballs, Stuffed Peppers, Potstickers, Egg Rolls, Quiche. Ground pork is so versatile you'll never run out of tasty recipes to try! Ground Pork is 72% lean, all natural, free of antibiotics, and no nitrates are used during processing. Ingredients: Pork Each Ground Pork package averages 1 pound. Our farms are much different than conventional pig farms. On conventional farms, pigs are often kept in overcrowded pens and also administered antibiotics. US Wellness Meats pigs are pasture-raised on family farms. They spend their entire lives roaming and rooting in green pastures. Pigs are foragers, and our pigs are outdoors every day (weather permitting) to forage for bugs, sticks, roots, etc.  Since pigs have a single stomach, unlike the four-chambered stomach of cattle, we cannot raise a healthy animal on grass alone, so their diets are supplemented with non-GMO grains. They have never been administered antibiotics or added growth hormones.

Glad to fine ground pork without anything added. I like to add my own spices.

I loved the ground pork I bought in the past, has taste, was not white and super lean, I like fat. I eat recipe every day, a French Canadian recipe called "cretons" with this new version, I no longer want to keep buying. I would be very interested to know if there is the way to receive what I received before. I understand there are 2 types of packaging, the latest order was the same packaging as the meat I had enjoyed in the past, and was worth the money, this new batch is different, seems it was stripped of all its taste. The meat looks more white.

This ground pork has too much fat in it. Once you cook it, it renders and not so much meat is left. I added it as meatballs to soup and it made a thick layer of fat floating on top.

Excellent ground pig. As someone who is sensitive to mass raised pig, the ability to purchase this pasture raised pig is a godsend. I still get mild stomachaches after, but it is noticeably better than when I eat the pigs raised on commercial feed.

I love this product and use it in so many ways: sausage balls, lentil sausage soup, breakfast egg casserole, and mixed with ground beef for meatloaf or meatballs. Recently I made meatloaf with 1 pound ground pork and 1 pound of US Wellness ground beef/heart/liver combo and it was delicious.
