We would definitely recommend Grampian Campervans. We hired the Glenshee for the weekend and as 1st time campervan users the experience was made so much easier by Mieke. She is so enthusiastic about her business and has thought of every little thing that you need to make your holiday enjoyable and stress-free. Hopefully hire from you again in the future.

We hired Glenshee for a weekend at Belladrum Festival and wow what a great time we had! Mieke and Jan couldnt have been more friendly and enthusiastic about their business. Mieke gave us a fab overview of the van before we went on our way. The van came with everything we needed and soooo much more storage than i imagined! Would highly recommend their business and i cant wait to use them again!

We rented the "Cairngorm" van for a 10 night trip around Lewis, Harris and Skye. Mieke was great throughout the booking process answering our questions. The van was really well equipped, Mieke has thought of EVREYTHING you will need and its all included in the van. The size of the van was perfect for us, enough room for 2 adults, 2 kids and our dog and small enough to get down all the single track roads to out of the way places we wanted to visit. We had a fantastic trip and have no hesitation in fully recommending Grampian Campervan hire.

Good size and spotless inside and out,
Was given a thorough walk round and handover at pickup, the attention to detail was fantastic. You only needed your clothes and food, even a selection of games were provided. Although I don’t recommend the connect 4. Think it’s broken as I kept loosing 🤔
They also have their own site with a spotless toilet block. Handy if you want a 1st night tryout before you venture out on your own.
Unfortunately for them, I’m coming back to get another one 😊.
Of all the rental vehicles I’ve experienced in the past, these guys have very high standards and it shows.

This was our first time hiring a campervan and doing this type of holiday. Mieke was super helpful especially to sort out the insurance for us. The van was absolutely fantastic for us doing a long drive down to England and is fully equipped to a very high standard. Mieke was super helpful and accommodating with everything. She explained everything in detail before we had left so we knew exactly what to do. It was a great trip away and a memorable experience we would absolutely hire again and recommend to anybody looking to hire a camper!

On collecting the van it was spotlessly clean inside and out, well equipped and Meike gave us the most thorough and knowledgeable run through of how everything worked before we set off.
The van was a joy to drive and provided everything for an adventure on the road. We even took Ben Macdui to the foot of Ben Macdui in the Cairngorms before enjoying an amazing hike to the top!

As “newbies”, we decided on hiring the Glenshee Campervan to tour the NC500. The van was absolutely fantastic for this , and is fully equipped to a very high standard. Mieke was super helpful and accommodating. Everything was explained in detail before setting off. We’d a great trip away and will definitely re-book from Grampian Campervan Hire again.

As a first time user of Motorhome’s I would definitely recommend and use again the Glenshee or similar motorhome from Grampian Campervan Hire. Had an excellent handover and explanation of the van’s features from Mieke. We toured Scotland for 12 nights and the motorhome was well laid out for our needs. Thanks also to Mieke on being available to answer our questions when we were on our trip, excellent service provided.

We had a lovely trip away in the Glenlivet. The camper was spotlessly cleaned when we picked it up & was well equipped with everything we needed for our trip.

Mieke is a pure delight, from the moment we met. We hired Glencoe for 3 nights and couldn’t fault anything, it had everything you needed and more. We had a great holiday with our two year old son, and the campervan was the main reason! We will definitely hire again, and been telling everyone about the great service.

Mieke guided me through the van and it was everything that a wee girl imagined sixty years ago standing atop boards laid across a rain sodden Skye campsite. A veritable doll house on wheels. But this dolls house didn't just have a broken battery to illuminate it. All the mod cons and the cleaning fairy kept it spotless and made sure everything worked and was always available at the other end of the mobile to answer any questions. I didn't drive very far it was easy to drive but I just needed the 4 day experience to confirm that it was the time for my penultimate bucket list lifestyle choice. I won't be hiring from Grampian campervans and Mieke again but only because it was such an affirming experience. I have ordered Robin my Cherry Red VW van. However I wouldn't hesitate to recommend others to hire from the good fairies don't hesitate life is too short and rain or shine Scotland is stunning.

Nervously tried a camper van holiday for the first time. Great welcome, so friendly, everything explained really well (and great written instructions for everything I couldn’t remember a day later). Van was in excellent condition, both inside and out. Great holiday, took Snow Road to Aberfeldy/ Dunkeld area. Great sights and walks.

Very nice, well looked after camper vans and very clean. Owner is very helpful and tells you what you need to know to get on your way. Pick up and drop off was very easy. Owner is easily contactable to help with any questions when on route. Will be using again.

Highly recommendable Campervan hire!
The owners are very friendly and super helpful. Beforehand we've had good contact and received a good explanation of the Campervan (Glencoe). The Campervans are so nice! Very complete inventory as well. During our trip, whenever we had any questions or doubts Mieke would help us right away. Our holidays were amazing in part due to the amazing campervan.

Very helpful family run business we've been from Skye too applecross nc 500 in the glen coe also west side of the lochness a perfect campervan for these roads very comfortable and warm at night for a four seater highly maintained. Then we upt the game with the glen Avon the comfort of the moter home is unbelievable six seater is a home from home there we toured spein bridge fort William Oban drumnadrochet tain golspie ballintore this for longer stays away is highly recommended we just wonted to keep touring we ll definitely be back for more there's so much to see out there thanks again mieke and family

Never having driven a campervan or motorhome before, we were a little daunted by the prospect, but really liked the idea of travelling around and being able to stop for a break whenever we needed to. We needn't have worried. After a thorough handover from Mieke, we were on our way in one of their larger vans: 6.3m long Glenshee!
We found it easy to drive and had no problems driving to the coast for fish and chips and then around to Aviemore. To drive, it didn't feel much bigger than our car!
Everything was clean and worked well. Temperatures dropped to 3C outside, but we were fine sleeping in the van.
By the end of the long weekend we were comfortable driving along single track roads and turning the van around. The rearview camera was really helpful.
Mieke was delightful and prior to the trip, responded quickly to any questions.
Having the flexibility to rent by the day was really helpful and encouraged us to try out "van life". We will probably take up the option to rent a bike rack next time. Including some tourist guides and card games was a nice touch, and the head torches were essential.
All in all, an excellent experience and wholly recommended. Thanks again Mieke. :-)

My son and I hired the Mount Keen Camper for a week and toured round the Outer Hebrides- it was just fab!! Mieke was great with answering all my questions when booking the camper and the talk through she gave me before I set off was thorough and I felt confident in what I was doing while away. The camper was so clean and came with so much extras I wasn’t expecting. My son and I loved it so much we didn’t want to give it back!

When I arrived to pick up, the first thing I noticed was how the vans were all gleaming and spotlessly clean.
Mieke explained all the functions and controls of the campervan so clearly.
