The engineer that came out named justin Wilson was friendly, he took time to explain what he was doing and made me feel comfortable by talking to me and acknowledged that I was there as I have anxiety around people I don't know.

Alex, went out of his way to come back after I missed the appointment in the morning to come back and do it all, great guy, can't praise him enough

From ordering the BB thru to Liam B & Pattrick H the engineers, everything was smooth & easy. All tidy afterwards. So far so good!

The best internet can be. Affordable, full fiber fast, easy set up, no issues. Helpful staff who are easy to contact. Not much more you can ask for.

If you can get Grain in your area it is a breath of fresh air compared to the lethargic big internet companies.

Internet went off, spoke to 3 people in separate departments for tech billing and sales all who couldn’t be anymore helpful. Ended up with a better deal, faster broadband, speedy appointment to fix my internet. Great customer service

Sam Brady was amazing. Helped a lot and tried her best in where to put the router. Amazing cooperation and the best customer service ive ever had with any company. All employees especially sam were amazing.

I was coming up to the end of my 18 month contract with Grain and was looking to maybe change to Virgin Media because I found quite a good deal buried in Go.compare's website.
Grain have a great policy of price match so I thought I would try this out and as good as their word they did so I immediately grabbed the offer and signed up for another 18 months.
So it's worth shopping around to find other providers current offers - I stumbled on Go.compare but there is also Uswitch that the Grain guy went to make sure that Virgin's deal was still valid.

Have to say while I have been on Grain and where I lived before (way back in 2022) was lucky enough to have it there - they have been just amazing.
Very very few times have I experienced any connection problems.
I also have a wifi extender in the iving room and that spreads the net connection really well through the rest of my house.
When I came here to take a look at Virgin's rating is is just 1.4 out of 5! That is an appalling rating and am very relieved I wasn't forced to move over to them just because of financial reasons.
I live in Sunderland and my Speedtest is showing:
Download Mbps 849.78 Upload Mbps 943.61
and this is very much a typical day.
As I am retired keeping a stable and fast internet connection is very important to me and I honestly hope I never have to leave Grain as they are superb.
Hope my little experience helps others to find this gem of a company :)

Just had Grain installed by Justin Wilson. Very professional, polite and talked through the requirements of the job. Justin was friendly throughout the installation and was very tidy in his work.
Signed up to Grain for faster speeds, reliability and better pricing. The speed has already exceeded expectation, and the pricing, with a boost works out just short of what I was paying.

Contractors came and dug up our road in Gillingham Kent. The first thing they did was to cut through our Virgin cable without telling us, it took 2 days to get temporarily fixed up again by Virgin engineers. When I rang the Grain helpline they just said it was nothing to do with them. I have had to stay at home and supervise the workmen because I don’t trust them to not do it again. Also reading the one star reviews I won’t be switching to Grain. If the cable is damaged again I will contact the police and report criminal damage

Quick, efficient & very polite - phoned to give an estimated time, then again when there was a delay.

Great initial interaction followed by great customer service, installation and Internet.

Hamza Ahmed dealt with the situation very well. he was very polite and caring. He let me talk. He explained everything properly.

I clicked on the website to make these guys my internet, and then got a phone call about 5 minutes later to book my install. Clearly communicated and process thoroughly explained they installed it two days after my call and i could put the router where i wanted. Good internet from the go, low latency, fast speeds. Had an outage about 4 days later which set alarm bells ringing but had a conversation with an actual technical person first thing the next morning and we troubleshooted the problem and fixed it on the call. Very impressed. Things go wrong but it's how you deal with issues that sets you apart.

Excellent internet. Had zero issues in 36 months. Fantastic UK based call centres. No messing on with a million security questions just to change to a cheaper deal. I even sorted my last deal with them via email - easy peasy! They price match too so once out of the introductory offer your bill doesn't sky rocket if you contact them.

I saw the cheap price online and reviews. So I got signed up with this service. I wa previously using virginemedia. Never had any problems. Anyway, with grain connect, I always struggle with continous internet supply. Sometimes it stops. Nothing opens. Not even Google. And when I run speed test. It shows 15 mbps. Where my plan is 500 mbps. Im now regret my decision. Dont use this service. It attracts customers by giving cheap price. And then supply poor quality Internet.
