Gradding Homes Omdömen 

My experience with gradding homes was terrible. They advertised some exciting looking properties on their website, and when I reached out to the property manager I was redirected to their business number.

Upon speaking to them, they first spent an hour and a half saying that I couldn't view any houses until I signed up to their £90 scheme where they find houses for you. When I mentioned my budget, they then (and only then) admitted that every house on their site for under ~£680pcm (which is nearly 50 properties by the way) was either taken or the price was about to go up. It's worth noting as well that every property on there that allegedly isn't available anymore has an option to pay one weeks rent as a "holding fee", and a big banner saying "84 students are interested, hurry up !"(direct quote), so who knows how much money they've taken through that.

The whole site also just feels dodgy, the text in a lot of the descriptions is clearly made by generative AI or is nearly identical to other listings, a staggering amount of properties don't even give you an option to see where they are on the map, the list goes on.

I would absolutely encourage anyone to steer clear; If they are legitimate, the service they claim to provide is very mediocre (they could only guarantee £700pcm for a student house in Oxford, which I could find myself in about 30 seconds) and they are incredibly unprofessional, but on the balance of probability they are not to be trusted

As an international student, my experience with Gradding Homes was one of the most disappointing parts of moving to the UK.

Imagine leaving your home country with excitement, hopes, and dreams about starting a new life, only to arrive and be placed in one of the worst rooms I've ever seen. The room was poorly maintained, not what I expected, and staying there from day one had a serious impact on my mental well-being. Instead of feeling excited about beginning my journey in the UK, I felt stressed, depressed, and completely let down.

I am writing this review to warn other international students, especially those who are booking accommodation at the last minute and trusting Gradding Homes to help them. Please think twice before relying on their recommendations.

From my experience, it felt like the priority was securing a commission from the property rather than ensuring students were placed in safe, clean, and well-maintained accommodation. Once the booking is completed, it seems the condition of the room and the student's experience become secondary.

International students are already dealing with the challenges of moving to a completely new country, adapting to a new culture, and managing financial pressure. The last thing anyone needs is to start that journey in poor accommodation that makes them regret their decision.

I hope Gradding Homes starts taking responsibility for the properties they recommend instead of simply acting as a booking middleman. Until then, I cannot recommend their service based on my experience.

To every international student reading this: please do thorough research, ask for recent videos, request live virtual tours, verify the property's condition independently, and don't rely solely on the accommodation suggested by Gradding Homes. Your first home in a new country matters far more than they seem to realize.

Worst service ever..
It's been more than 3 months still not giving my deposit back and even not replying to my messages.
I have given all the proof of my deposit but still no response.
Never ever going to recommend anyone especially international students who want accommodation.

Extremely unprofessional. I booked London accommodation through them. They are illegally withholding £50 of my deposit since February 1st, 2026. They have ghosted my emails and WhatsApp chats for months. They are constantly giving vague updates like they will refund but never did. International students, please beware of Gradding Homes.

I have an extremely good experience with Gradding homes … Especially with Vandana , she is good as gold .

Booked the student accommodation with Gradding homes for my brother for free. They handled everything from their end and suggest me properties options as per my budget and preferences. Really happy with the support.
