One of the best family vacation that we had. Daslie is the most resourceful and considerate guide we’ve ever met. She is very proficient in both English and Mandarin which makes communication a breeze. The tour turned out well and everyone in our family enjoyed the tour and her company. I could tell that a lot of work went on behind her scenes. She pre-planned every tour, every detail and prepared for every contingency. She carries around a large backpack (must have been heavy!) with lots of stuffs to keep us comfortable, like fans and snacks in case anyone needs. She’s definitely well prepared. It must be her gentle nature and caring self that carried thru to the way she engages with everyone in the family and made everyone feel welcomed and at ease. As a result, we could focus on spending time and enjoying as a family and not having to worry about anything else. This valuable time together is something we treasure a lot. We could experience the many facets of Xiamen that we never would have seen by ourselves. Thank you, Daslie, for all the arrangements, for your friendship and most of all, for being you.

Wow! I cannot say enough great things about Armando and our day in Nagasaki. We had a group of 11, and from the moment we booked the tour, Armando was excellent. He communicated with us for months in advance, answered all of our questions, and made planning easy and stress-free. During our tour, Armando shared his extensive knowledge of his hometown of Nagasaki and took us to places we never would have discovered on our own. We explored the historic Oura neighborhood (the former foreign settlement), Holland Slope, the former Chinese settlement, the Maruyama neighborhood, a local food market, Sofukuji Temple, Teramachi Cemetery, and the beautiful viewpoint at Kazagashira Park. What made the experience so memorable was Armando himself. He was knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing the history, culture, and stories of Nagasaki. He made everyone in our group feel welcome and ensured we had an enjoyable day from start to finish. We ended the day with ice cream and sake while reflecting on everything we had seen and learned, which was the perfect way to conclude an unforgettable experience. If you are planning a trip to Nagasaki, I highly recommend Armando. He made our visit truly special, and I would not hesitate to book with him again. 10/10 recommendation!

Benito was gracious and knowledgable He came prepared with a binder of info to add to his oral delivery. He was always considerate of our needs as travelers. It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon getting to know Valencia with Benito.

Beijing is a truly special city. It’s not just about the famous sights and landmarks, but also the rich history, culture, traditions, and stories that bring this place of immense significance to life. Clare was the perfect guide to help us experience all of this. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has a gift for explaining complex historical and cultural topics in a simple, engaging, and easy-to-understand way.

We were a family of five with diverse needs—two seniors, two adults, and a teenager—and Clare was able to tailor the experience so that everyone enjoyed the tour.

We made a last-minute decision to attend a Peking Opera performance, and Clare went out of her way to help us by collecting the tickets on our behalf. She was always patient and happy to answer our many questions, no matter how big or small.

Beyond the sightseeing, Clare also provided excellent food recommendations that were both delicious and reasonably priced, allowing us to enjoy authentic local cuisine without breaking the bank.

Seeing Beijing through Clare’s eyes made our trip so much more meaningful. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to gain a deeper appreciation of this fascinating capital city.

Saroun was an excellent guide for our 2 days touring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. He accommodated all of our requests and balanced the needs of our diverse group. The van was comfortable, with excellent AC. After each temple, we’d return to cold water and fresh cold face-cloths. Saroun spoke excellent English and animated the history, religion, politics and architecture of the sites. Each temple came alive with his guidance. We absolutely loved our time in Cambodia. Plus he takes excellent photos with his advanced phone and knows where to get the best shots! I highly recommend you engage his services for the best time.

Aref was phenomenal in his depth and knowledge, and his professionalism and expertise were second to none. He was prompt in responding to my text messages and accommodating the changes to the regular itinerary we requested. He was exceptional in including and connecting with our 12 year old. Would recommend him without hesitation. We booked him for 2 days in Alexandria.

As four seniors we had a great time during with Ryan on a walking tour of Toronto. We had so much fun using the subway, the trolleys (trams) and busses going to 4 different neighborhoods. Ryan was full of information and history of Toronto and fun and personable to be around. We highly recommend!

Awesome tour guide
We were a group of 4 and had a wonderful day with Jorge D from Ponte Delgado visiting the island. It was a super wet, foggy day and he came up with plan B and took us to beautiful and interesting spots on the sunny side of the island. He is very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with him.He speaks English very well and was able to talk about a wide range of topics.

Our group of 7 used Dai as a private guide for one full day of touring in Tokyo while visiting in April 2026. Dai worked with us in developing a plan to visit the different sites that we were interested in. He met us at our hotel first thing in the morning, and we walked, took the subway and trains to get around Tokyo. Dai did a great job in providing information about the different sites we saw during our time with him in Tokyo. At a market he directed us to a seller that had items that some of us were interested in buying. We all thought he did a great job and would highly recommend using Dai.

The website is clean, clear, and very easy to navigate. Finding and booking a guide was straightforward, and the prices seemed fair. Through GoWithGuide, I found Nazmiyeh, who was an amazing guide in Istanbul and made our trip even more enjoyable. A smooth experience from start to finish. I would happily use GoWithGuide again.

Thanks to Helena for the tour of Kutná Hora. Five hours flew by – everything was perfect that day: the good weather and our general mood. The guide Yama san, was punctual, had a great command of the English language and was organised. He explained the history and customs very well so that I could understand easily. We visited Edo Period Museum which I found interesting, then bought quality specific Sumo souvenirs from a quaint family run shop nearby and finished off with the beautiful and relaxing Kiyosumi Japanese Gardens. Was a lovely 3 hour tour.

We wanted to get a glimpse into the Tokyo that tourists don't normally see. Tourists typically miss many quiet neighborhoods and miss how the people of Tokyo live their daily lives.
