Dealt with Goddard Dunbar with the sale of our property, really impressed. They kept us up to date, dealt with all enquiries promptly and were always available for any issues. They were superb and I would highly recommend.

I have heard so many horror stories about solicitors and how many are second only to the devil once the conveyancing process is in full gear. Well, these ones are different.

From the onset, they never slacked in communication - keeping us updated about every step and highlighting reasons for possible delays as the case might be. They practically chased me to get stuff sorted, even putting pressure on the seller's solicitors.

Very accessible and friendly on the phone - you never know how important these are until you meet a douchebag of a solicitor.

I particularly loved that I could track the progress of the conveyancing straight from my online portal without even placing a phone call. Due to their efforts, it was a smooth transition and they helped with every query raised by the bank and seller side solicitors.

They gave me honest information, it they could not help me immediately then they explained why and told me what they were going to do to connect me with the person who could help me. Tracy who dealt with the final stages of my house move was excellent, unfortunately the same can't be said for the solicitor involved who routinely ignored my emails when I needed clarification at certain stages, this left me second guessing which is something you shouldn't be doing when moving home! Would I use again, probably not...

Goddard and Dunbar helped us out with the purchase and sale of my property for most of 2022. Always prompt with their responses and answered the phone pretty quickly too. All in all a great experience with them. At the time of sale and purchase the housing market was running slow, so it felt like a drawn out process but this was nobodies fault - a lot of people would write negatively about this.
