Lets people sell scripts with little to no support, even if the scripts are broken or outdated, since they earn more money that way — crappy consumer experience.

GmodStore should no longer be called a marketplace, but a commercial dump for buggy scripts. Avoid it if you want to run a serious server.

Bought a mod for my friends' server from the seller "kanalumaddela" which didn't work, and when I contacted the seller they told me I "didn't buy the mod" (I did purchase it) and to "f*** off" which I then screenshotted. I contacted gmodstore's email to tell them they had an abusive scammer who stole my money and Matt, the managing director, said "this isn't a legal department, you don't own the script, kindly f*** off." Totally abusive staff even when their sellers are scamming people. Don't buy from this scam site, ever.

I personally have been treated well on here. I like the fact that people can make addons and make money off of it. Allows newbie coders to make some money and help out the community.

I was banned from the website even though I had over 500€ worth of addon. I created a gmod server competing with creator, and when the site opened, I was banned for an invalid reason. Supposedly, I'd bypassed one of the conditions when it wasn't specified. When I asked for a deban, they blocked deban requests. And when I had the misfortune to contact a staff member via discord, I was insulted.

You can't open a ticket to dev Billy without getting banned and losing access to all your Gmod addons. The guy has become Gmodstore staff. So I take it that Gmodstore approves of this kind of attitude. And since my review was deleted on Billy from Gmodstore, I'm posting a review here at Gmodstore. If you don't like it, don't delete my review and ban me, even though I was pointing out a real problem.

I am extremely disappointed with Gmodstore. This site seems to embody everything that is dishonest in online commerce. In particular, I want to highlight several serious issues:

Dishonest Hosting Partners: The server hosting partners associated with Gmodstore appear to steal their clients' content to then collaborate with Gmodstore developers to resell it. This is an unacceptable and immoral practice.

Stolen and Resold Content: Gmodstore offers addons, some of which were not even coded by the claimed authors. The content is often stolen from GitHub, packed into an addon, and then resold. This explains why most sellers cannot provide adequate support: they do not even understand what they are selling.

Deplorable Customer Support: Customers who dare to open support tickets are often banned. Additionally, the Gmodstore staff seems to be composed of immature individuals (mentally like 14-year-olds) who respond to customers with unacceptable condescension.

In summary, Gmodstore is a site to avoid. The lack of integrity and poor customer service make the user experience extremely frustrating and disappointing. I strongly advise against using this site for any addon or service purchases.

Site acts as a marketplace for creatives to sell their work.
At the same time they partner up with other sites that steal creators work and sell them as their own.

Imagine making a store for a game that has FREE content. Gmodstore is a stupid idea, and everyone should be able to have access to these addons without having to pay for them.

great service and base for GMOD add-ons, some are costly or broken not why I rated it four stars. fact that some addons are still allowed to keep their broken addons in the store. I own Billy's scripts who help me even when he is busy, or the best Void Studio Scripts to the donation store I have.

Nice people nice addons most devs reply back if you have an issue. Just a really welcoming community

Poor quality products, management refuses to remove old products that use obsolete code, refuses to have content creators update their code so that it conforms with current Quality of Code guidelines.

Majority of the clients using this store seem to also be children, so if you are a content creator using gmodstore you will likely have to deal with kids who shouldn't be running servers in the first place.

Unless you want a cookie cutter server that looks like it was made by Dr. Frankenstein, or you want to loose your sanity and braincells from people buying your creations but not knowing how to use them, look for creations sold privately from developers or a differant company that sells creations for Garry's Mod

Worthless, you get no support either from the creators or from Gmodstore themself, Don’t bother buying

Overpriced and DRM packed addons
Gmodstore by far is one of the most toxic websites out there. They defend their own interests and they sell you over priced addons. Not only are the addons over priced they are also packed with DRM features that cause performance issues on the server. Your server is slowed to a halt just because of bunch of money hungry devs want to make sure you're not redistributing their addons. Plus majority of the staff and devs act like their part of a mafia gang organization.

They act as an organized gang, and only defend their own interests.

I bought a script that didn't work a while ago. I opened a ticket and politely explained that it wasn't working on my server.
Having heard bad things there before, I was very careful to be polite in my message. And the last time I logged in hoping to get a positive response I had the unpleasant surprise to see that my profile was banned. Why do they do that?
