I canceled my order two hours after I placed it once I saw how bad the reviews were and then of course they did not reply to my email for three days. Then they sent me an email saying I couldn’t cancel my order because it’s been three days past their 12 hour cancellation window. Well yeah, you didn’t open my email or chose not to reply to it for three days. That doesn’t mean I didn’t cancel it within the 12 hour window. I canceled it within two hours and they still would not accept it.

Took a while to arrive but luckily they were a present for a months time.
Once they arrived they worked OK a FEW times but then.... one won't switch on. One is erratic and actually gave the user an electric shock.
No replies from the company at all. Appalling service.
Shocking in more ways than one.

I was soooo excited to use my Gleamy Eye Pods BUT all the Electro Gel pads did not work! When I tried (multiple times - finishing 8 sets of Gel pads) the sticky-suff refused to stick on the eye pods. It also refused to come away from the white removable paper.

I reported my findings to Gleamy and was told - sorry we can't help you because 14 days has passed. REALLY????
It's called: "Pass the Buck"
They refuse to take responsibility for their OLD pads.

My son-in-law is a biomedical engineer, so I asked him to have a look at the Gel pads. And he confirmed that I am not stupid! He said the Gel pads are "OLD" and the fibres have started breaking down inside the Gel pads. That's why they wouldn't work for me. Almost like they have passed their BEST BEFORE DATE!

Gleamy have refused to replace all the Gel pads I purchased. So now??? I'm in Australia, making it harder.
Worst company experience ever!

I'm hoping this review will get their attention. Or else I will have to try broadcasting my problem on every social media channel and platform.
I am a pensioner and will not be scammed for any-MORE money, to buy more Gel electro pads.
I've wasted all the Gel pads I purchased because they wouldn't work and are EXPIRED.
My son-in-law said my experience with Gel pads happens all the time with old Gel pads. He uses them in a lot of applications in his profession.

I was very disappointed with my experience ordering the Gleamy Eye Pods. Despite the website promising expedited shipping (2-4 business days in the US), it took an entire month for my order to arrive

. The device seemed to help my eye area at first, but less than two months after receiving it, the vibration function stopped working completely.

When I contacted customer service, the representative replied quickly and said my issue was forwarded to their fulfillment center. However, after waiting another month with no update, I reached out again-only to be told I was outside the 14-day return/replacement window and nothing could be done.

Overall, the shipping was extremely slow, the product failed quickly, and the company did not stand behind their return policy. I would not recommend the Gleamy Eye Pods based on my experience.

this company is a COMPLETE SCAM, they took my money and I didn't reveice any goods, they refuse to send out good and refuse to refund DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. BEWARE!

Absolute scam ! Product not only did. It work but when reaching out to the company they refuse to simply accept a return. It should not matter why the product is being returned ( I. My case one of the items did not light up or vibrate also the patches do not stick to the skin rendering the entire thing useless ). Just a big fat scam ! I am so sick of fb adds that continue to allow these companies advertise ! I say if you don’t have a 4.0 out of 5.0 reviews as a general rule do not allow these companies to sell on your site ! This is how it works on Amazon or Etsy etc the same rules should apply here ! Total scam and even worse alleged customer service !

On April 9, 2025, I made the mistake of falling for this scam operation. I ordered the eye pods and extra pads. I wish I had seen these complaints prior. I paid with my CC via ApplePay. Shipping said 4-8 days with tracking. On 04/15/25, I emailed asking why they haven’t shipped. I received this response at 3-10 am (China, maybe?):

I literally have 3 receipts, 1 from them, one from my CC bank and one from ApplePay. These people are trying to steal my money and get me to give them more!! I was rocked when I saw that email. The chat function is unavailable and there’s no phone number. I’ll be doing more research on this company, but DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. Others here have complained about product quality and others have the same complaint as me: paid and never received item. Not sure if anyone else was told to “complete the purchase” but paying again. Had to report fraud and file disputes through ApplePay and my CC company to try to get my money back because I’m quite certain they won’t refund when they’re saying they never got paid, DESPITE THE CONFIRMATION E-MAIL THEY SENT ME SHOWING MY PAYMENT METHOD.

Gleamy, this is the email i sent you, your response was not adequate, so here is my email again, i would like a full refund for my purchase.

I am writing to formally request a refund for the product I purchased from your website, eyepods, order number 18898, on 15 February 2025. I am deeply dissatisfied with the product, as it was falsely advertised and does not meet the expectations set by your website.
The product was marketed with numerous positive reviews on your website, which influenced my decision to purchase. However, after using the product, I found several issues. Firstly, one of the eye pads is not working as well as the other, and the stick-on eye pads do not adhere properly, causing them to slip and not stay in place on my eye.
Additionally, while the instructions inside the package recommended using the eye pads 2–3 times per week, I did not receive the product until 10 days after ordering. Given the 14-day refund window, this did not provide me with sufficient time to use the product more than twice, making the refund policy unreasonable under these circumstances. To add to this, since my order, I have been spammed with thirteen emails.
When I used the product for the third time last night, I felt that the micro currency was more similar to electric shocks, and today I have been experiencing a strange sensation of electric shocks when touching objects around my home. This raises serious concerns about the safety of the product, which is not something I was made aware of during the purchase process.
After reading the negative customer feedback on Trustpilot, it is clear that many others have had similar experiences, which were not reflected in the positive reviews on your website. This discrepancy between your site and independent reviews raises concerns about the accuracy and honesty of the product's promotion.
Given these issues, I would like to request a full refund for my purchase. If I do not receive a satisfactory response or refund, I will be compelled to pursue further action for false advertising and unsafe product claims, which will include filing a complaint with the relevant consumer protection agencies and pursuing a claim under the law regarding selling under false pretences.

My partner bought me some Gleamy Eyepods for Christmas 2024. They were bought and paid for early December 2024 but they weren’t delivered until just before Xmas.

I received them as a present on Christmas Day, and when I tried them they were very very weak. I charged them up, replaced the pads twice and still they weren’t any better.

When I eventually wrote to Gleamy asking if they were meant to be like that or could I have them replaced or refunded they wrote to say we were outside the 14 day returns period, which is shocking customer service given when they were bought and that they were given as a “special present”.

They have steadfastly refused to replace or refund blatantly faulty and useless goods. They were of faulty manufacture and they will not refund me/my partner the money for them. Nor will they replace them!

These products are are SCAM. This company are SCAMMERS.

Their products do not work properly and they don’t care one jot about customer service!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, EFFORT AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Dreadful from start to finish. They didn't deliver on time. Didn't communicate ETA. THE pads arrived eventually amd they're awful. The sticky pads either don't stick to the pads or they stick so hard to your eyes that the treatmemt is rendered useless after prising them from your under eye area! Save your money amd buy an eye bag cream from Look Fantastic

I would give zero stars if possible. Avoid this company at all costs! The website looks legit with glowing reviews from Vogue, Glamour, Women’s Health, Marie Claire, etc but after doing a little research, those endorsements appear to be entirely made up. I placed my order which promised a money back guarantee and free express shipping (4-8 days). When weeks went by without my order arriving or any shipping information I knew something was wrong. I contacted the company and asked them to cancel my order. Rather than canceling it, they emailed me a few days later to let me know that it had shipped. I requested a Return Authorization and they told me they don’t take returns or offer refunds. When I reminded them that their website promised a money back guarantee, they replied telling me that when I placed my order the company was under old ownership and now that they’ve acquired the company they no longer have to abide by the guarantees made for previous orders. This company is an absolute scam. Who knows if their products even work. If mine actually arrive I would be very hesitant to use them for safety reasons.

The gleamy eye pod charger stopped working after only a few weeks of use and customer service are refusing to refund as it has gone past 14days which is a ridiculous life span for a product! Do not buy!

I would give them zero stars if it were an option. They are a scam; I ordered and it took 10 days to get a "shipping label" created. I emailed to cancel the order because it was taking so long and they replied after the label was created, saying it was too late because it had already shipped. Who knows if I will ever get anything. DO NOT buy from them; I have filed a fraud case with my credit card company.

I ordered a pair of glee iPods that worked one time now they will not turn on. They only flash red for going on a month. The company has always sent me AI responses to send a video to their response team versus offering me a another device or a refund it’s unacceptable and I think they’re here to just take our money
