Nathaniel = Amazing!

Super impressed with Nathaniel who came to my home this afternoon and was amazing! Explained everything clearly, worked efficiently and did a very tidy job. Can't praise him hightly enough!

Don't do it.

If I could mark 0 I would installed my fibre broadband. Then had no connection for 6 weeks rang twice a week to see what was happening but never got anything apart from we will create a ticket and let you know the outcome but then never replied just fobbing me off. Eventually cancelled order can't comment on connection as never got one! But now have an ugly black box in my living room that they refused to take back.. Avoid at all costs!!!

Great initial service from Victor Fodor. However, installation could have been better.

My Giganet service has now gone live and I am very happy with the speeds we're getting. I have to single out Victor Fodor who was outstanding in advising me about the service on offer and offering the reassurances that I needed to sign up. Victor was knowledgeable and honest in his dealings with me, and I really appreciated speaking with him.
Now, on to the installation. Sadly, this could have been improved and is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I accept that sometimes dates change and some things cannot be foreseen. However, we had delays in the initial engineers visit (by over 3 weeks) followed by a lack of communication in advising on what the issues were and when they would be rectified. It was only after speaking with Nick (apologies can't find your full name Nick) that he made the effort to keep me informed as to what was going on.
The speed and connection we are now getting are brilliant, and I'm very happy with the service now that it is set up. Special thanks to Victor for his initial support and advice.

Terribly unreliable.

When things work well, it works very well. Ive never come close to using half their full capacity of speed. However, i need reliable internet, and it has been anything but. We have had engineers around our house twice in the past month and over 5 times altogether. Each time promising this will be it. It never is and always fails and i cant run my family this way. Ive asked customer service multiple times to show what went wrong, what the solution was and how they implemented it for each time to just say problem resolved, case closed get in touch. Useless over the phone, engineers have all been very nice.

Kevin Hempstead

Kevin Hempstead visited our home and was amazingly engaging, knowledgeable and personable. He explained who he was, what gigantic could offer and how the instal etc would work. We arranged a date for installation set up the contract and applied a £40 bill credit.

Absolute joke of a company - avoid at all cost

Been with Giganet almost a year and have had absolutely no internet for over 4 months of that time!

They run "line tests" and tell us there's nothing wrong, although there is, even when they see photos of the ONT lights, they say it doesn't correlate with their line tests. When they see screenshots of speed tests with devices plugged directly into their router via ethernet, they say it's a WiFi fault and it's our home that is causing the problem. They make appointments to fix it and don't show up. They show up to appointments and say they aren't qualified to fix it so we need to wait for another engineer. Sometimes they even fix it but it only lasts for a few days.

Twice we have been told our line was plugged into the wrong port in the exchange. I think they have multiple lines that don't work, and to fix it, they just swap the line with a customer whose line does work.

We are currently on a 12 month free package and still aren't getting our money's worth. We are throwing away money on subscriptions to Netflix etc that we can't use and are racking up HUGE data bills in our mobile phone packages.

Do not recommend

You want any updated on your case ? You have to call. Terrible customer service. Never updates the tickets unless you call them. Couldn't get connected because some leafs were in a way, despite having other cables going from the telephone pole to the house. Engineer lying about visiting the property, wrong information sent in emails etc. Do not recommend.

Absolutely appalling service!

Absolutely appalling service!
Connected to Giganet June 2023. Worked perfectly fine but not supper fast compared to others. On 7th Sep connection died, we have been internet less since. Customer service are polite and try to help however no one seems to know what the problem is and are yet to offer a resolution.
Do not use this company-long term customers are not valued!

Great internet speeds but!

Great internet speeds, friendly staff but problems if you want to change. due to costs i would like to reduce the speed I have and slower would now suit in any case.
However apparently changing speeds cannot be done that easily and could mean being without connection from a few days to up to a month! I find this very disappointing, other providers seem to be able to up/down speeds with just a few hours downtime! wondering if a ploy to keep me on the higher price?

Very bad service

Very bad service, reported back a issue 2 days back in Coventry, now when I called them they are saying that nobody is assigned to the issue. Also since it is weekend coming in there will no fix for the issue till Monday. This is the worst service that I have seen, better go for other big branded and good service providers like Virgin, etc. This is a advise please do not go for giganet otherwise you will repent

Terrible service

Installed the equipment on the 29th August, it didn't go live until the 4th September. Impossible to connect our devices to the router, it would not recognise the password, after being told to unplug this and reboot that we decided that we'd had enough and cancelled on the 12th September. After sales service nonexistent
Would we recommend, not a chance.

Absolutely Diabolical. AVOID

I've been having issues with my fibre (FTTP) service slowing down to less than 2Mbit (paying for their 900Mbit+ package) on a regular basis for what seems like a year now.

These people have absolutely zero care for actually fixing the problem. Their agents are clearly trained to bat you away and tell you what you want to hear just to get you off the phone.

My most recent ticket (yes there have been several because they liked to keep closing them) has been escalated numerous times, now at "Level 3" which supposedly means it's their highest level, and their technical team "must take action" within a 4 hours. Well that clearly means nothing, as once again they have not responded in days despite being promised a phone call with updates on multiple occasions. They have continuously been doing nothing about it for months, why bother starting now I suppose?

Me chasing them on a daily basis does not seem to phase them in any way either. Completely stonewalled by their apparently absent "Technical Team", and zero signs of any progress of the problem being looked into, let alone resolved, or even an ETA for a fix.

Find another provider, because these people clearly do not care when their product deteriorates.

I am paying for a supposedly "reliable" service from a company who "puts your experience first". What an absolute joke of an organisation.

Absolute shambles of a company

Absolute shambles of a company. Install was delayed with no notification then when done the service doesn’t work. Been told by them it’s a radius issue and their tech team are working on it. It’s been three weeks thus far and very little info coming from them. Their own policy advises a manager will call once a complaint has been raised and not resolved. Requested this several times with no call back. Too many people hiding behind the customer service team (who must be hacked off with the daily calls) who advise this is affecting many customers. This team have been excellent but let down badly by their own team. It’s interesting to see the poor ratings are increasing. Perhaps they need to issue a statement to all customers in limbo inc a date the issue will be fixed and the promised service up and running?

Extremely disappointed

Me and my family are extremely disappointed, a couple of months ago a very kind man knocked on our door he asked if we would like to switch to Giganet. We kindly accepted the man’s offer and hoped we would get our new WiFi in no time we were wrong.At first we got contacted that the engineers would come around our house while we were going to be on holiday we asked them if they could come round earlier so we could have our security cameras on while we were on holiday but they couldn’t.This ended up having no security on our home while we were on holiday whatsoever which also resulted in somebody stealing keys to the van which were eventually found after we came back from our holiday.After we came back from our holiday we expected engineers to finally arrive and install the WiFi which they never did because we apparently “cancelled ” on them which we most certainly never did and to this day we don’t have WiFi in our home the whole family is really annoyed and we hope this never happens to anyone else and that if anyone is reading this please do NOT choose Giganet as your network provider they have caused a load of complications.

Will it ever work

We signed up and everything was installed when giganet said it would be BUT it didn't work no Internet after emailing via BT and ringing we finally started getting updates but they stopped last week and that's where we are no Internet, no information
