SHOP elsewhere, so overpriced and cheaply made.
Well, first of all the reason I’m writing this review on trustpilot is because I can almost guarantee that the review that I gave them on their own personal webpage will not be published.
They claim it will be reviewed before they publish it and according to all of the reviews I’ve read on their site, I just cannot believe that the reviews are honest.
I honestly believe that they are fake as they appear to almost have 100% feedback, which I find an absolute joke.
So I’m going to give you my honest feedback and exactly what I wrote to them, here on trust pilot.
I have tried to contact this company, now almost a month ago to let them know that I have received a faulty piece of these “fake looking wonderful centrepieces”, of which actually I only received a thin bit of plywood and the stand is a also a thin piece of plywood that is way too big for the actual picture to sit in and falls through, it does not support the picture at all , so it is faulty.
I am too embarrassed to give these as gifts considering the amount of money I paid being close to AU$130 for two of these pieces and also ordered two of the bags at five dollars US each, and only received one with both of my items that I purchased shoved into the one bag.. I could barely remove the items they were so tightly shoved in this one bag and because the bag was crudely and crookedly sewn at the top section.
I seriously was in total shock.
I really believed I was going to get these absolutely beautiful standalone centrepieces that were advertised, but all I got was very thin plywood and ill fitting painted pictures that look nothing like their fake advertisements.
I have purchased similar things from stores like TEMU at a fraction of the cost, in fact at less than Australian $10 apiece.
Now in saying this, when I tried to message this company, my emails just wouldn’t , it was as if it was just not an acknowledged email address .
So that’s when I decided to put in a complaint through PayPal and Giftgoprints then sent an email saying that they cannot communicate with me due to the process that I’ve taken through PayPal. They also claim on their site that you have a 30 day free money back/return, so where is it? That’s all I initially asked for, and I had contacted them within a couple of days of receipt of these items.
They have all of the communication that I wrote through PayPal asking for the same thing, I just want a refund and them to pay for the return shipping because these things are faulty.
I also then specifically asked Giftgoprints to contact me through a message I sent to them via PayPal, as I knew they’d have to have received that message , as I wanted their personal details and I want to know how to contact them because clearly you can’t through their site especially when they know that you are a very unhappy customer.. and of course I still haven’t heard anything from them.
I am so tired of these opportunistic companies/people that really over exaggerating their products and rob innocent people by displaying fake advertising and up selling these things as if they are actually worth the absolutely ridiculous gouged prices for a product that you know that has come off a mass produced production line somewhere in China.
This company is an American company I believe and all they’re doing is lining their own pockets at the expense of poor innocent people that really don’t know any better and don’t even realise that they’ve been had and they can absolutely fight for their rights. To whoever reads this do some research before you purchase and I guarantee you’ll find it for at least a fifth of the prices these people charge.
