I ordered a €100 Christmas hamper from giftbasketsspain.es for my elderly parents. It was not delivered, and I received no response until 13 days after Christmas.

The company claimed delivery was attempted, but there were no missed calls or voicemails. I was then told the package had been returned to Malaga (around 100 km away), which is not a realistic option for elderly recipients.

The order remains unresolved with no delivery or refund. I would advise others to use caution when ordering from this site.

I made an order with them for Mother’s Day but they charged my credit card twice. I am now dealing with PayPal for my refund since their email on their website does not work

Chocolate strawberries were in terrible condition and the chocolate tasted bad. Won’t order from them again. The flowers were pretty tho

We ordered berries and flowers for Mother’s Day and were sorely disappointed. Whoever delivered the items threw the box to the ground and didn’t ring the bell so our berries and flowers sat outside all day. Everything was ruined. All the company offered was a 50% refund. Horrible experience and service.

Would give zero if I could. Placed an order and despite three emails back and forth, they still haven't delivered and will be too late for the birthday. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Thanks to the service in my bio, I was able to resolve an issue I had with another company and get my money back.

Placed my order. Was told delivery on Valentines Day, it cost $20.00 just for that? Told to hit button in mailbox to open gate and deliver.
They instead left it on a BUSY street on a sidewalk...gone in minutes. So I contacted company. They said sorry. Promised to re-deliver next day.
2 days later I contact for update. Oh were sorry we no longer deliver that item to this area. WTH!!! So they refund me $55 But my order was $91.83
Needless to say they are awful!!!!!!

Placed order for dozen red roses with love Belgian chocolate covered strawberries for my wife on Monday February 10th to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. Arrived Monday February 17th.
1) pointless after holiday
2) didn’t even get red roses, was mixed colors and all DEAD
3) ice packs were water, leaked, soaked everything. Chocolate melted and strawberries squashed.

What an awful experience. They offered me 20% off…

scam site hacked 1-800-flowers and ripped me off for 289.49 refund refused and claiming they are sending my valentines gifts out February 21 2025 after I paid 59.00 for valentines day delivery these scum bags are scammers beware!!!

I ordered a gift basket and I did not see a place to input a message so as soon as I ordered the gift basket, I sent a message immediately to the company to put the message in for me. They said they could not put a message in for me. This is really ABC and 123 type situation and this company has no clue on how to be able to fluidly move to support you and their customer service is horrible. I don’t recommend them. I’m just hoping my gift basket makes it there.

Pretty much the same experience as the last reviews. My order did not get placed because I needed to confirm some information and then was asked to verify a lot of information. Seemed like a phishing attempt. No problems with other companies where I sent gift baskets this year. So you aren't disappointed, I'd stay away from this company.

I needed three gifts for the holidays so tried Gift Basket for the first time. After placing the first order I was offered a discount on the second order. I wasn't given it. I sent three emails and got three different reasons why I wasn't given it. I was offered a discount on the third order, so I placed it. They then called me -- I was on the phone and called them right back. They had no idea why I was calling. I then got an email saying I was being refunded money from them. I replied to the email and got a response saying they couldn't give any information over email and I needed to call. I called and was transferred three times. The third person, Jed in the Finance department, asked me many questions and finally told me that my third order was cancelled because I never returned their phone call.
Clearly, I won't be ordering from Gift Basket again. I recommend that you steer clear, too.

Very disorganised business, pretend they don’t know what I’m talking about and very likely a scam

scam site avoid. Took my money never got a confirmation and noone is responding to the ticket I opened.

Placed two orders, customer service cannot find either and I am out of more than $225.00. This is fraud...somebody needs to tell Jim McCann, the founder, he has a fraudulent service ripping off people.

Would not allow me to change the ship to address even before it shipped. Customer service is in India and impossible to understand.

My best friend is visiting Nashville on her very special birthday. As I couldn't join I ordered 2 (expensive) items through gift basket which I found on Google under "Nashville" gift baskets. With the promise of next day delivery if order is placed before 2:00pm a business day before, being extra careful, I ordered the items Oct. 19th (Saturday) for delivery October 22nd., her birthday.
Tracking keeps telling me different deliveries. One item shipped by FedEx, the other by UPS, none originating in Nashville. Both items "on their way" on day of intended and promised delivery, "estimated delivery, October 23rd", by 8:00 pm, past her birthday and, lilelly past her checking ot of the hotel for her flight home.
They initially offered a 20% refund, following my insistence of a full refund, they complied. That, however does nothing to ruin a birthday surprise for a very dear friend ! Total waste of time and effort.

If no star was an option I'd give that! I had issues from the start with this company. Did order over the phone ; at the end when it was time to pay I was told they couldn't do the payment. I had to go online and start the whole process over again, paid and thought all was well. Next day I get an email stating it could not be processed because of discrepancies within the order 🤷🏻‍♀️ from me to them at a hospital. The order was cancelled because I did not call them back soon enough ( I was at work) get home, called ; it was to late. They said they refunded the money. Would take 3 days. I talked to them again , worked out the problem . Had to go online and redo the order. End result , recipient never received the order and neither order was refunded!
This place is horrible ; had a very difficult time understanding anyone I spoke to on the phone ; I don't think they could understand either. Wish I had read reviews before hand. Lesson learned! Save yourself the headache ; never use "The gift basket store" or affiliated stores owned by same company!!

Similar experience to everyone else, paid extra for quick delivery and it came late, super lackluster items and presentation. Basically paid $100 for stuff I could’ve got for $20 at any corner store.

Well I guess this company could improve things by delivering my order to the recipient. Or was placed on 17/07/24 I have also sent several messages but no response
I don't usually write reviews but I don't want anyone else to be scammed by this company
