Dhirajnatithapa made a customised tour for me true Kathmandu valley. He drove me to a few places I requested and he showed a few hidden spots. We did everything on his motorcycle.

Dhiraj is a friendly person and very good guide. He has a lot of knowledge and was open to any question.

We had a wonderful stay in the Homestay including a two-week round trip, guided by Dhiraj.
One of the highlights was climbing Poon Hill, with absolutely breathtaking views. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset in Bandipur and unforgettable wildlife experiences in Chitwan, where we saw elephants and rhinos.

What we truly loved was that we visited places with very few tourists. This gave us a special glimpse into everyday life in Nepal. The trip was very well organized, with unique overnight stays and beautiful mountain hotels along the way.

I’m already looking forward to my next trip in March 2026, when we’ll be doing a trek in Dolpo. An unforgettable experience, made even better by the warm hospitality and excellent guidance. Dhiraj is the best! Highly recommended!

Gids Dhiraj is zeer professioneel, spreekt uitstekend Engels (en zelfs wat Nederlands) en kent het land tot in detail. Hij past accommodaties en routes direct aan als iets niet aan zijn standaard voldoet. Daarnaast is hij maatschappelijk betrokken en laat hij reizigers kennismaken met lokale initiatieven.

Een betrouwbare organisatie voor wie Nepal op een pure, goed georganiseerde en verantwoorde manier wil ontdekken.

Our hiking tour in Nepal was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Dhiraj. From the very beginning, he picked us up at the airport and helped us settle in, making sure everything was smooth and stress-free as we prepared for the hike.
All transportation, including the jeep rides to and from the trekking route, was convenient and very well organized. During the 9 days of hiking, Dhiraj shared knowledge about Nepal—its culture, nature, and daily life—and was always flexible in adjusting the route or pace depending on how we were feeling.
The teahouses and meals along the way were well arranged, which made the entire trek comfortable and enjoyable. A real highlight was the homestay experience, where Dhiraj cooked us a delicious dinner himself.

We hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad met Dhiraj als leider. Dhiraj was zorgvuldig, zorgzaam en heeft heerlijk gekookt. De trekking was goed geregeld en het ontbrak ons aan niets. De Ramailo Gantabye home stay was een heerlijke fijne plek om te verblijven. Als ik weer terug zou gaan, zou ik zeker weer alles via Dhiraj regelen.

Met Dhiraj een 3 daagse trekking gedaan.
Was een geweldige ervaring.
Dhiraj is zeer kundig, behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Spreekt goed Engels en zelfs een beetje Nederlands!
Voor en na de trek bij Dhiraj in de Homestay verbleven.
Ook dit is een aanrader. Alles goed verzorgd.
Daarna zijn we door hem afgezet bij Chitwan, was een lange rit door de bergen en we voelde ons absoluut veilig. Goede chauffeur!
Ik zou het zeker aanraden om een trip met Dhiraj te boeken!

Wij hebben de homestay bezocht in januari 2025
Samen met mijn motormaat Henk werden we warm ontvangen door Dhiray en Rasmita, en verbleven in het gezin , maar wel met eigen slaap-kamer de volgende dag hebben we mooie motor tochten gemaakt met Dhiray als gids ieder op eigen (gehuurde) motor , met nog een overnachting in de bergen, mooie maar zware reis, er werd nog veel aan de wegen gewerkt in dat gebied.

We verbleven hier vorig jaar ,een paar dagen,ze zijn bijzonder gastvrij ,je bent gewoon deel van de familie.
Komen zeker terug ,het uit de drukke stad op het platteland.

I went to Nepal and Dhiraj guided me around in Kathmandu and Pokhara. I had an amazing time, the tour was well organized! Dhiraj is a good driver and very trust worthy. I would absolutely recommend to book a tour here! And I would love to go back some day

Everything Dhiraj is arranging is costumized according to own wishes en possibilities. He is flexibel and makes it comfortabel for his guests. I went, since 2014, with Dhiraj to several places in Nepal. All trips were beautiful and arranged well. I hope to go again on trip with Dhiraj to Dolpo in March 2026.

We got in touch with Dhiraj through the WhatsApp group “Dutchies in Nepal.” Together we planned the trip, and even before leaving the Netherlands we received lots of useful information on how to prepare.

When we arrived in Nepal, Dhiraj was there with a big smile and gave us a very warm welcome in Kathmandu. The next day we drove to the starting point of the Langtang trek and then spent ten amazing days hiking through beautiful scenery.

Thanks to his cooking skills, we enjoyed great, nourishing meals every day—exactly what you need to stay fit and energized during a long trek.

After the trek, we spent our last nights at Ramailo Gantabya Homestay, a lovely place close to Bhaktapur and a perfect base for exploring Nepal’s cultural highlights.

We booked a trekking tour with Ramailo Gantabya Trekking in mid-October and did this trip together with my brother and my father. Our guide, Dhiraj, was absolutely fantastic. He was kind, reliable, and very flexible throughout the entire trek.

Dhiraj really listened to us, thought along with what kind of challenges we were looking for, and adapted the route where possible. During the trek he made sure we lacked nothing and always felt well taken care of. We truly felt like a strong team together.

It was an amazing experience from start to finish, and I would definitely book another trek with Ramailo Gantabya Trekking without hesitation. Highly recommended!
