Easy, Efficient and Great Customer Service
I have been with the company since 2015 and recently renewed my car insurance over the weekend.
I was really pleased with how easy and straightforward the renewal process was. The payment process was just as simple, and I particularly appreciate receiving all my insurance documents by email immediately after completing the renewal. It makes the whole process quick and convenient.
This time I didn’t need to speak to an advisor, but I also want to mention the excellent service I received in May when I needed to change the car on my policy. The advisor I spoke with was very helpful, efficient and quick to resolve my query, which I really appreciated.
After being insured with you since 2015, it’s nice to see that the service remains easy, efficient and customer-friendly. Thank you!

Honestly if I didnt have so much on my plate I would shop around as you have raised the price 2 years in a row. There is no one to relay this to as it is an online company.. and my queries cant be dealt with in a speedy manner, but it will be my last time renewing with you!

Very incompetent company sadly
Very incompetent company sadly. My wife had car insurance with them naming me as a name driver on the policy. I was rear ended through no fault of my own. I contacted the company through their webchat and was told that i had no need to contact them but should inform the underwriter AIG. I did so. When my wifes renewal came up they filled in the proposal form themselves making a number of child like mistakes and omitting my no fault accident. When i got in touch with them to clarify and sort out their errors they tried to charge an extra €301. for the policy effectively trying to penalize me for being hit in the back which was no fault of my own. We contacted Allianz who were going to underwrite the policy ourselves after requesting a refund from GoSetGo and got a quote €40 lower than GoSetGo's initial quote before we got them to note the accident.
Bottom line. GetsetGo should have e mailed the proposal to my wife for us to fill in as they were changing underwriters. Had i not checked their proposal form we would have been driving around thinking we had insurance but would have had no actual cover as GETSetGo filled in the proposal form incorrectly. Avoid this company completely. Bottom Line They're incompetent

Refuse to insure imported cars. But don't advertise this.
GetSetGo does not state at the beginning of its quotation process that imported cars fall outside its underwriting criteria.
Instead, you enter all your personal and vehicle details, receive a quotation and proceed almost to the payment stage. Only then are you asked whether the car was imported. When you answer yes, the website abruptly ends the process.
Why is this basic eligibility question not asked at the start?
After posting my original review, William from GetSetGo replied asking me to contact the online chat team so they could “investigate” and “try to resolve the issue.”
I contacted them again, as requested, and received the same standard response:
“This falls outside of our underwriting criteria, so we are unable to continue at this time.”
There was no investigation and no attempt to resolve anything. It was simply another waste of time.
Why did William ask me to contact the company again if imported vehicles are automatically excluded? Is he unaware of the company’s underwriting policy, or was the reply merely a generic response to a negative review?
GetSetGo should clearly state at the beginning of the quotation process that it does not insure imported vehicles. That would prevent other customers from wasting their time entering detailed information and receiving a quotation that the company was never prepared to honour.
Very poor and unnecessarily frustrating experience. Avoid.

This is a diabolical company to deal with. Initially took out insurance after changing my car with a month left on the insurance on my old car which was now off the road, after a month on temporary cover and various different stories from the company regarding my cover, I had to eventually cancel the policy at at cost I might add . Every agent I spoke had a different opinion on my situation and the final call I took from a girl was so poor. She was very condescending and her attitude was terrible, offered no help whatsoever. I asked could I speak with a manager only to be told that management or supervisors didn’t take calls with the company. Now I might ask, what is the purpose of having a manager? A company to be avoided as there are plenty of other decent insurance brokers out there, buyer beware
