This tool is exactly what I've been looking for! Being someone with an irregular pay schedule who utilizes business and personal accounts, it was impossible to set up transfer and payment rules how I wanted to with my bank and other apps I've tried in the past. Finally, sequence does everything I have been wishing to do. Also, the user interface is beautiful and easy to understand, I was up and running immediately and got everything set up without issue. Everything was so simple and straight forward, it literally felt like magic!

I've been using sequence for almost six months now. Since then I've never been so clear on my finances

Sequence has been a game changer for me. I’ve always been lazy about saving habits. Having it automatically moved has made an enormous difference. I just look at what I have to spend in my spending pod and thats the end. Additionally their customer service is actually helpful and quick. I prefer a phone number but their chat option it effective and if AI isn’t able to help me it QUICKLY hands me to a person.

I have been using sequence for my financial needs since October 2025 and I have had no issues with withdraws and deposits. The staff is also very attentive to issues and resolves them quick. Highly recommend this financial router to anyone looking for better personal financial management.

Complete scam of a company. They keep ur credit card info, close ur account for no reason, then just charge however much they want whenever they want because u cannot log in and they don't send u receipts after charging u.

Customer services is great! There will be learning curves to anything new and what sets certain products apart from others may initially be price point which works for services such as netflix. When it comes to services for financial management then how to guage a product SHOULD ALWAYS be through the time the company spends with you to implement YOUR unique set of financial goals and sequence takes that seriously... If you are on the fence pull the trigger.... this service is worth its weight in gold and the tech team will make sure you have everything needed so you are able to set it and forget it!

We’ve been using Sequence.io for a while now, and it has made a meaningful difference in how our family manages money. Customer service has been nothing short of amazing. From the beginning, we’ve worked with Colin, who is quick to respond and always ready to troubleshoot or make corrections. That level of responsiveness really sets them apart.

The technology itself has a lot of promise, though it hasn’t been without some challenges. We’ve occasionally run into issues with PIN numbers not working and occasional connection hiccups. That said, whenever there has been a problem, support jumped in quickly to get things on track again.

We were originally drawn to the system because cash budgeting with the classic envelope method worked for us in theory — but in practice, cash just isn’t as practical anymore. Sequence.io essentially brings that structure into the digital world. It sets clear limits, and once the money in an account is gone, that’s it without a transfer from another account. This has been especially helpful in keeping our family on the same page financially. Instead of overspending, everyone can see exactly what’s available and adjust accordingly. For example, if there’s $97 left, that’s all there is — no temptation to overshoot.

At the start, we needed a lot of transfers (above the free allotment) while fine-tuning our categories, but now we can clearly see a path forward. There’s finally a “light at the end of the tunnel” for us financially, and we credit a big part of that to the structure this system provides.

Overall, I’d describe Sequence.io as an excellent solution for families or couples who need more discipline and transparency with shared spending. While the tech still has room for improvement, the concept and the customer support behind it make it worthwhile.

Great tool for entrepreneurs. I hate having to log in to business bank accounts and transfer money around manually. Then once the money gets to my personal accounts, it's the same thing... more manual moving and shuffling around. Banks have such basic money routing options. Sequence has TONS of customization and rules so you can get all the money moving automatically between your business and personal accounts on autopilot. This frees up time and headache of the manual transfer processes. Highly recommend.

Love the product! I use it to manage our personal finances and pay off my rental and personal home loans along with achieving our other financial goals. We have 3 main income sources and a few other minor ones and it really helps us organize it all into one place. Any issues I run into, I've had no problem being able to get in touch with someone from support and it's been immensely helpful to do so.

I reached out to Sequence weeks ago for clarification on their privacy policy, to their head of customer service vial LinkedIn, while he was friendly and promised help, understood why I was asking about privacy, ultimately no one at Sequence got back to me.

—Though the CEO did check out my LinkedIn profile, suggesting that my question was flagged to the c-suite.

Nobody responded about how (besides in service delivery) all one’s financial data is used or shared. I nudged the customer service lead again, he apologized for the delay, but still...nothing.

For companies that value security, this is a concerning signal, that Sequence can’t clearly articulate their privacy policy.
