Very bad service
I am extremely disappointed with both the mistake made by this clinic and, more importantly, the way it was handled afterwards.
Before my NIPT test, I clearly stated multiple times that I did not want to know the gender of my baby. Despite this, I was sent a report where the gender label had been removed, but the chromosome information was still visible — completely revealing the gender anyway. This was a once-in-a-lifetime surprise and experience that can never be undone.
While mistakes can happen, what upset me most was the clinic’s response. The initial reaction felt very dismissive, with little more than “thank you for letting us know.” There seemed to be very little understanding of how upsetting this actually was for us.
After expressing that we were unhappy with how the situation had been handled, we were told the matter would be reviewed and that someone would personally contact us. However, nobody ever bothered to get back to us at all.
The mistake itself was bad enough, but the lack of care, accountability, communication, and follow-up afterwards made the entire experience even worse. Families place a huge amount of trust in clinics during such an important time, and unfortunately I did not feel valued or supported as a patient.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic.
