Ordered online after seeing several ads on Instagram---that should have been my first red flag! My order arrived quicker than expected and was packaged nicely. I ordered liquid eye shadows, mascara, and a lip gloss that came with lip liner.

These are advertised as "clean" products, however the eye shadow immediately caused a burning sensation on my lids and caused them to swell a bit. This has never happened to me with clean products in the past. I emailed customer service and requested a return. I received a response saying they could send me new eye shadow colors at no cost or they would send me a shipping label and asked that I return my order. I requested the shipping label----this was 3 days ago and I have received no response back from them. I went on to their website to contact customer service and after reading their return policy, their policy states that they will refund any orders, minus shipping cost, if requested within 30 days....it says nothing about returning the product. I don't care about returning the product, because I am not going to use it, but their email was different than their online policy. Regardless, I emailed them again and STILL have not heard anything back. I will give them another day before disputing the charge with my cc.

Side note---the mascara I ordered was BONE DRY. Completely old and unusable. The other eye shadows had a very sweet scent---didn't smell bad, but I can't imagine they are truly "clean" products if they have scent. Also of note, all of the products are extremely small---they would not last long and because of the size are certainly overpriced.

The lip gloss felt nice going on. It was not a good color on me, and prior to their non-responsive customer service, I likely would have ordered other colors to try. But now, I will never shop them again. Buyer beware!!

I have yet to receive a shipping notification after placing the 9 days ago. There is no customer service phone number. I have reached out via their customer service email twice with zero response. Is this a legit company?

This company stands behind their product 100%, it truly is a great makeup line. The customer service is exceptional. I spoke with Nina and she literally couldn’t have been more helpful or nice. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The eye shadow is so so. I’ve paid way less for way better. What is terrible though is the eyeshadow brush this comes with. For $23 bucks for a brush, I expected it to be great. It’s trash. Do yourself a favor and purchase an eyeshadow brush from literally anywhere. My granddaughter’s Dollar Tree play brushes are 100% better.

I was very excited to try these products. Ordered a few things and after initially confirming my order, nothing. No shipping updates, nothing. I tried twice to email to find out status and got no response at all. I finally had to report it to my credit card company and they handled it. Moving on.

Really disappointed by this product - I bought the Mixed Media Matte Liquid Eyeshadow in LINEN 04 Matte Ivory and the Mixed Media Metallic Liquid Eyeshadow in MOONLIGHT 05 Champagne after being 'Influenced' by my algorythm on Instgram. At £28 a pop for each one, I could have easily found something similar for a fiver in Superdrug.

In fact I have loved all of the products I’ve tried from this super company.

I saw so many ads for this with claims of long lasting beautiful pigment so eventually gave into temptation despite the high price point.

I ordered the rose water - the colour was pretty but much less vibrant than expected. The claims of all day wear are nonsense. It was all gone after a few hours out and about.

I’d give it a miss.

Ordered the colour linen that looks really peroect for pale skin , this arrived and it’s brown , what good is Brown concealer if you are white pale skinned complete false advertising I’m furious if zero stars were available they’d get that

Gen See is one of the BEST of my 2025 Finds!!! So far, have tried the Mixed Media Liquid Eyeshadows (now own 4), the Lip Pencil, the Eye Pencil, the Lip Jelly, the Spectator Sport Mascara, and the Pick Me Up Matte Lipstick. Every one of them is phenomenal! Honestly, not sure how I ever lived without the Mixed Media Liquid Eyeshadows! Thank you for the amazing, high quality Products, Gen See.

Great company & products. I would prefer better built in applicators but they are versatile in their uses.

Gen See is one of my go to clean beauty brands! The eyeshadows are next level! They blend with ease, the colors are saturated but not overwhelming and they stay put all day. I also love the Clean Sheen Cheek and Lip colors and the Straight Flush Glow Sticks! Both are easy to apply and blend beautifully. This brand is a must have in your beauty routine!

Love everything about Gen See ! The textures are all incredible and the products are so easy to be used. On top of that, the shopping experience is great: the website is easy to navigate, their customer service is super responsive and all my packages arrived super fast. I strongly recommend this brand. It’s literally the only makeup I now use. Oh and of course, their clean formulas is what sold me in the first place !
