Best program to educate kids at home. Absolutely love it. I ordered kits abt 2 years ago and material is high quality and videos are very easy to follow. My kids enjoyed all of the experiments!
That title was a super cryptic and repetitive message, right? It's just like the information in the videos on generation genius. Info is information and Explo is Explanation. In generation genius, I was watching a video and it said that some materials were conductors and some were insulators and it kept saying that over and over but it never explained what made an insulator an insulator or what made a conductor a conductor. Generative AI explains better than this, and they are bad at explaining. Gosh.
Forever Chemicals & No Help with Returns
I bought 3 boxes for a Christmas gift for my 7 year old son. My mother opened the 3rd box first to assist my child with the experiments. They found one of the projects included a type of "water repelling sand". A pink forever chemical PFAS sand you were to pour water into and see how it would come out entirely dry. I was shocked to find GG is sending this hazardous and not environmentally friendly product into the hands of children as a learning tool. I called them up to send all three boxes back only to learn they would not receive my return. My number was given to an advisor who never returned my call. THIS COMPANY SEEMS LIKE A SCAM
Don’t fall prey to this!! Their boxes are crap. Then when you least expect it, they auto renew your subscription without notice! They charged my account $135 with no notice and refuse to refund me! FRAUD! Don’t get scammed by this! I bought it because his marketing was good enough that I fell for it and bought it for my sons birthday back in June. He didn’t like any of the “cool kits” so we didn’t go buy more. Apparently I didn’t need to because once they have your card number, they just auto-renew and charge your card whenever they want.
Generation Genius for math and science is one of the only ways my grade school child can truly enjoy science. This site has been the best help for the subject. It's very engaging with videos, science lesson reading comprehension (which also enhances reading skills) worksheets, quiz games, and practice written quizzes. The glossary that they have is very large and resourceful. I wish we had known about this fun educational treasure pre-pandemic when all of our kids were coming up in school. I don't know when it was created. But I certainly appreciate it as a very effective and enhancing tool.
