Would not trust them with delicate garments
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other customers should know about my experience.
I took a 100% silk Carolina Herrera dress to this dry cleaner. I had previously had the dress professionally cleaned several times without any issues.
I was asked whether I agreed to a wet-cleaning method. I agreed because I relied on their professional judgment and expertise. I do not have the technical knowledge to decide how a delicate designer silk dress should be cleaned.
The dress was supposed to be ready within two weeks, but it took over two months. When I finally saw it, it had been completely altered. The silk had lost its smooth texture and sheen, the fabric felt rough, there were visible marks and colour variations, and it was covered in creases. I did not accept the dress because it was no longer in the condition in which I had left it.
Since then, I have spent several more months trying to resolve the matter. I was repeatedly told to come back another day because the manager was unavailable or a decision had not yet been made. Although they eventually refunded the cleaning charge, we could not reach a fair resolution regarding the damage to the dress.
I even suggested that, instead of compensating me directly, they make a donation to charity. Unfortunately, the amount they were prepared to offer was, in my view, far too low given the circumstances, so we were unable to reach an agreement.
Based on my experience, I would not trust this dry cleaner with a delicate or high-value garment. If you only need everyday shirts or standard items cleaned, your experience may be different, but I cannot recommend them for special occasion or designer clothing.
