Honestly, trying to keep a complex site schedule from slipping into total chaos is exhausting. We moved our workflow onto GanttPRO just to get a clean handle on task dependencies and milestone tracking without endless spreadsheet micromanagement. The export tool chokes up a bit when you are pulling down massive project trees during peak hours. But the drag-and-drop timeline adjustments are responsive enough on a job site laptop to actually get the job done.

I was looking for a tool to help me manage several projects for the company I am working for this summer. I decided to jump into GanttPRO when I saw all the features available and that they give a good discount for students. As a person who likes to visualize the different tasks and subtasks by color, deadlines, and priority, this platform makes it so easy to visualize the whole timeline without losing any deadline or important step for each project I am taking care of.
One of my favorite things is how simple it is to adjust deadlines. I can just drag and drop tasks to adjust dates, which happens a lot when you're dealing with reform delays. It’s definitely helping me stay on top of priorities and move through this summer renovation with a lot more confidence. If you need to keep a project organized, GanttPRO is definitely the way to do it.

GanttPRO has become a central tool for planning and tracking my projects, especially when I need a clear visual timeline for multiple tasks and dependencies. I like how quickly I can create a Gantt chart, assign tasks, and adjust dates with simple drag‑and‑drop actions. The interface is clean and easy to understand, even for team members who are not project management experts. I also appreciate the resource management and progress tracking features, which help me see who is overloaded and where deadlines are at risk.

Our multi-stakeholder scientific research project was running behind and we needed to organize ourselves. I looked at a few different tools and was disappointed with the high price points and limited features on many of the options out there. So I was delighted to find GanttPro and jump right in. I especially like the way the gantt chart is front and center, supported by other features. I also like how it can start off really simply, but as I need to represent more complex aspects of the project the tools are right there and fairly intuitive. I particularly value the ability to share a public-link to a project. I also really like the way I can add ‘virtual resources’ such as teams, external collaborators to represent our large ecosystem without paying for marginal people to have a license. Would recommend and we plan on continuing with this as a core part of our work.

Microsoft's decision to first move MS Project to the cloud and then force users over to Planner simply didn't meet our needs, leaving us wanted for a functional, clean online project planning tool with resourcing and Gantt views.

GanttPRO has filled that hole and allowed our team to move forward again on our key initiatives in a way none of the other tools we tried could.

We did find some of the functionality a bit of a learning curve coming from other programs - the videos that they have provided online are useful in this respect. I'm sure we're not yet using all of the features available to us, but we're pleased so far and expect to grow into the tool nicely.

We’ve been looking for the right Gantt Chart programme to organise and track a fairly complex 3 year long project and have already tried out a few other options which didn’t quite fit our needs. Then we found GanttPro and it was immediately a front runner. It has clean UI, is easy to use for a beginner in project management, and had all of the functions that we needed. This includes well-presented dependencies with a lag feature which is very handy, and a simple way of adding tasks, sub-tasks, and task descriptions.
It's a bit difficult to see the task names when the chart is printed and some more colours in the custom task colour selection would be very helpful.

As a complete novice when it comes to the creation of Gantt charts, I found this software to be easy and intuitive to use. I was able to create the tables I needed and adjust them with ease. The platform is very user friendly. The resultant tables are also aesthetically pleasing and easy to read. I particularly liked the ability to toggle between views showing the project at weekly, monthly or quarterly intervals. I plan to continue using the platform for project management in the future, as it is such a useful way of seeing a project as whole and managing its contingent parts.

One of the best features for me has been the ability to assign tasks and monitor progress in real-time, which has helped keep me on track. I wish you could sign up for users between 1-5 rather than just 1 or 5, since the jump in cost is high and users such as myself only need to allocate to two or three people, meaning the 5 users is unnecessary, but the single user option reduces its functionality.

I was looking for software that could create a Gantt chart and work breakdown structure for a small project - I’m not a project manager, and a I’m just starting out as a graduate student. I needed the visual of the gantt to help me predict how long it would take to complete, task dependencies and the ability to set email reminders for upcoming tasks. A lot of the other softwares I looked at had too many features and were more all-in-one time management tool, to the point that they were overwhelming (eg Monday.com, Motion, Asana, etc.. Microsoft Project was a huge pain to sign up for the trial and you have to create a new account, so getting email notifications for upcoming tasks requires you to set up Power Automate if you already have a MS 365 account. I also looked at Teamgantt, which seems to be quite similar to GanttPro. Teamgantt has a free plan which has quite a bit of Gantt chart functionality, but limited task dependencies and to upgrade for more features, it’s $40 US a month! GanttPro is around $13 US a month (but you do have to sign up for a year for that price). So far, it’s been meeting my needs and very easy user friendly. I’m giving it 4-stars only because you can’t sign up for single user and get a monthly plan.

Nah uh, fk this 4 star, the online ganttpro is unretrievable, and now I have to pay 500USD++ to get by my progress else I lose all my work. Daylight robbery.

I am currently a student of project management. As part of the course, I have to create a project workbook and it contributes to significant portion of my overall grade marking. Therefore, it is really important that the work breakdown structures and Gantt charts I create are very professional and accurate to industry standards today. I have tried out various tools and found GanttPRO to be the easiest to use, and understand how to use, as a beginner to PM concepts. The graphics/interface are incredible and very slick. The tools appears to be very feature-rich and has lots of integration options. If I get a job in the future working in a PMO, I would highly recommend GanttPRO

GanttPro is very ergonomic; the workflow is great, it exports to multiple formats and has reasonable flexibility within the software.

Effortless for large projects. What I love about GattPRO is how detailed you can make the Gantt chart. Compared to other competitor platforms, GanttPRO gets out of your way and lets you plan your project.

I'm using it for my PhD, and I like how I can break down projects as well as sub-projects. GanttPRO also supports education students with generous discounts, which I appreciate. The design is simplistic and functional, and though it's not as pretty as others, it gets the job done.

I'm looking forward to carrying on using the platform and investigating further all the helpful tools GanttPRO provides to make project management that bit easier.

Perfect application to use online. It allows me to manage my Ph.D. to organize myself and meet my goals.
I recommend this tool for several purposes. It simplifies my management life by being able to create a workgroup, assign tasks to master students and manage times and dates to be met. It also allows me to visualize a calendar and clearly envision the next task to fulfill. Furthermore, I can access it from my personal and work computers thanks to being an online tool.
From my experience, I highly recommend it for managing research projects; such could be a Ph.D.

I am using GanttPRO to plan and structure my upcoming movie and I am highly satisfied. Espacially the part where I can track the work hours and personalize everything is my favorite. I find it easy to use, easy to share, easy to set up and can highly recommend it. The only thing I have trouble with is printing out my project plan. For some reason the program is stuck in the loading process.

Es un software muy fácil de usar, puedes importar y exportar desde Excel si no te resulta fácil de familiarizarte con la interfaz. Puedes asignar tareas en función de la dificultad, establecer fechas límite para los campos que vas creando e incluso puedes marcarlo por prioridades.
Además se ve muy profesional, y si te resulta lioso puedes ver tutoriales en YouTube, aunque la aplicación es ya intuitiva de por sí. También permite la colaboración de otros integrantes, siempre y cuando tengan cuenta creada en Ganttpro,claro. Y otra ventaja es que si trabajas a nivel más profesional y aparecen desviaciones de tiempo en la ejecución del proyecto, puedes realizar un seguimiento. Ideal para gestionar proyectos a nivel básico y completarlos con el paso del tiempo.
