Gainful is a scam. If you receive a gift that includes a product from Gainful, carefully read the fine print. They will likely sign you up for a subscription and ship you unwanted products. They will also refuse to refund you for the product you didn’t want or need.

I really like this product, but their customer support is super condescending and rude. Delivery schedule is ridiculous and has gotten worse over time. The product takes over 10 business days to arrive. They started using DHL recently which just isn't set up to deliver direct to consumer. I said I was thinking of canceling my subscription when I reached out to them. She responded that she canceled it. So I guess they have no problem losing a customer! No offer to change anything - basically saying you need to figure out how to get it sooner if you need it.

Unfortunately, my experience with Gainful has been going downhill lately, and I’ve decided to leave the service. The past two deliveries were a mess. The first delivery was missing—things happen, and I understand—but the second time, one of the bags was damaged, and powder was spilling everywhere. The customer service team was kind enough to order a replacement. However, there was yet another delivery failure, with the package marked as delivered to the wrong location.

On top of that, Gainful has also removed access to the dietitian, and I never received answers about the ingredients. At this point, I’m counting my loss on one of the bags and leaving the service.

Their shipping time is horrendous. They claim 4-7 business days. I will be at 9 business days since ordering (12 days total). I have requested a refund or discount and they offer absolutely nothing. I’ll have to buy another protein in the meantime just because they send their items via snail mail.

Terrible experience with trying to reach them. I clearly remember looking to try it and selecting one time option. I just got charged for my second order (apparently I chose subscription), no way to reach them to stop the order (phone is constantly busy, chat is not active). I don’t like the taste of the products, don’t use them in such qtts therefor did not intend to be a subscriber. Disputing the charge through my credit card. Sham tactics getting you into subscription!!!

FALSE LABELING of PROTEIN POWDER. Each scoop holds 30% less protein than claimed.

They include a scoop in each bag. Bag label says one scoop gives you 24 g protein, and that there are 14 scoops in a bag. However, there are 18 scoops in each bag, so you are only getting 16.8 g of protein per scoop. For 7 months, they've sabotaged my goals by reducing my protein by 30%.

If they can't get something as simple as buying the correct sized scoop to put in their bags, this calls into question ALL OF THEIR OTHER CLAIMS about their product's nutrients and ingredients.

Good: Customer Service has been good these past 7 mos. Due to the flavor packets, the taste is better than other protein powders I've used over the past 10 years. I haven't had any stomach discomfort or bloating. Unfortunately, I need to achieve my goals which require accurate and truthful information, so these positives can't overcome their utter failure in labeling.

2 stars because at the end of the day it’s tasty protein powder, it’s the company I have issue with. I subscribed to this program without doing the math per serving. It’s about double the cost to a comparable powder like the Transparent Labs Whey. The email campaign is brutal, I don’t need 13 email in 9 days, I just want to take my protein and be left alone. It just ended up being too irritating to continue using so I moved on.

SCAM. Products are a joke and they will charge your card after you cancel with no care to help!!!

I made a purchase back on January 23rd 2023 yet I never received it. And just yesterday, August 8th 2023 I was blindsided by an unauthorized charge of $60 even though I haven't used their services in months. I emailed and texted their customer service but was told they won't refund my charge. I called up my bank and they told me the charge is still processing so It makes no sense that the company can't cancel my charge before it goes through. I currently have $528 in my savings and I need to spend 500 to pay off a little bit of college debt. I have $0.68 in my checking account and I'm currently unemployed. They just took away money that I seriously needed.

Decent tasting, fine product. Absolutely not actually personalized. The "quiz" gathers extremely base information about you and your diet, along with a couple questions about your goals. But in the end, you get one of just a few pre-made blends of supplements. There's no semblance of biometric personalization or any other science to it. It really is "what protein can you ingest? Plant or animal?" Honestly, if you already know the answer to this, you don't need this service in the least. Zero percent worth the cost. Save yourself time and money and just go buy protein mix from your local grocery store.

Ordered protein to try it out. Not bad, but my blend was 20g/serving and the package is 14 servings. 14 servings is $60 after shipping and taxes. It’s $4.30/serving of 20g of protein. I typically do 2-3 protein shakes a day so $15/day is just a no. Not to mention the package would last less than 4 days. Cute idea, but not even close to being practical.

The contents inside the protein powder that is blended for me gives me the nutrients I need to fuel my workouts. It really is a one stop shop for all your nutritional needs. Next step is figuring out which flavors I want. YUMMY

The product is good but the customer service is rude, passive aggressive and not understanding. They claim it’s “personalized” but thats BS. I loved using this product until I dealt with the customer service. I would definitely try a different brand that cares about their customers.

Gameful is a great company. I love the personalized protein powders and their other products are very good too. I love how easy it is to customize your protein powders to your wants and and the fact that it's easy to move your subscription depending on how much you're working out or not

Packaging is great, shipping was great. The product is not great - I've taken numerous pre-workouts but this one has something inside that is causing an allergy. Very disappointed that Gainful does not stand by its product to offer a refund. As it's a food item, it can't be "resold" so refunds should be allowed even though it's custom. Do not recommend.

Just started using Gainful products and so far I have not been disappointed. They taste great and make me feel great as well.

Transparent with ingredients and the products available to you. The support was very fast at answering my signup questions, and I love the product so far!

It does educate you a bit about what you're getting, why it's custom to you, and how best to take the supplements. I was able to quickly increase the amount received to meet the number of shakes I take in a day. Excited to try this out, instead of worrying about picking out and ordering my protein and collagen every month.

Dont bother buying anything from them. The shipping is awful and the customer service to try and find said package is just as bad.

Generic response from company in review. Customer service not helpful referred me back to the company once more and told it would be 3 potential business days to respond if no response click here to send another msg. If you see the companies ad on social media dont bother just block and move on.

The products speak for themselves. I look for high quality ingredients in my supplements and gainful does a great job. No sucralose in the pre-workout and all organic ingredients in the protein.

The shipping intervals are acceptable and im pleased when i receive my subscribed order. I do wish there was an expedited shipping option which i would gladly pay for, and the customer service is prompt.
