Amazing in-store customer service from James. Great advice, professional perspective, and impressively efficient. Delivery was flexible and then reliable once appointment made and every person we had contact with was friendly and helpful. All in all a very refreshing retail experience

Excellent experience at St Austell furniture world. Harry was particularly helpful so much so we ended up with both a new power recliner sofa and a new bed! So delighted with the service I recommended to my daughter who also went and bought a recliner sofa too. The ordering and delivery was excellent. We were updated on the delivery by the driver and they brought everything in to the house, put it altogether and took away the old bed. My only note to mention is that my brother-in-law, my daughter and us all bought the exact same recliner power sofa within days/weeks of each other in the sale. We each paid for the 5yr stain guard and all had delivery with items being collected too, but all paid slightly different prices...whilst very happy with the price we paid and service, none of us really understands why the slight differences in the final bills 🤷

I found the whole experience easy from start to finish, Daisy at the Plymouth branch was super helpful and patient, she listened to what we thought we wanted and came up with some fab suggestions. The day of delivery was smooth and the two delivery drivers were courteous and very polite. Can't fault a great professional service.

Shopping online was straightforward for me, I can struggle with emails sometimes! From purchase to delivery was less than a week. The goods are pretty accurately described. I knew what I was getting. I received an email that confused me a little regarding the delivery span. I replied, asking for confirmation. I received a telephone call within the hour and a delivery time was confirmed. The delivery was quick and efficient. The guys were very helpful and friendly. All in all I cannot fault the goods or service. I'm extremely happy with Furniture World. First time customer, but it won't be the last.

Have bought a few items of furniture from the St Austell store. The colleagues are friendly and helpful, they're the reason we keep going back. Delivery was easy to arrange and everything was done quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend this store.

The 2nd was for a sofa which didn’t fit through our front door. ( our mistake ) Fortunately, we have a balcony with sliding doors on the 1st floor. The delivery guys were absolutely amazing and helped my husband and neighbour get the sofa delivered in one piece.

I bought a mattress from this company back in November and I couldn’t give a single fault or poor comment. They have a very professional and smooth process which made the purchase easy. Also, a big thanks to Ben in unit 3 Coypool retail park from Josh and Laura. He has excellent people skills, suggestions, and honest advice making it a much more personalised experience. These are people you can trust. Thanks again.

I feel the need to respond to this company’s rather rude and patronising comment on my previous review and to provide an update on this ridiculous and now dangerous situation. Firstly it is not true to state that the instructions on the website are clear or accurate. As I’ve discovered on finally being able to open the unit (because of its weight it has to be tipped on to its back to get inside - although the lady on the phone erroneously told me it needed to be put on its marble top!! The instructions clearly say to put it in its side!) the instructions inside the unit say in bold it requires AT LEAST 4 PEOPLE to move and assemble. Not 2 as the company misleadingly (and unlawfully - given it is an important term of the contract) puts IN THE SMALL PRINT. Secondly to quite rudely state “ As it is delivered by a two man team, I’m not sure where the ‘so heavy 3 men couldn’t lift’ came from?” if the company actually knew anything about its own delivery procedures it would know it is delivered ON A TROLLEY all the way into the house by the delivery team. At no point did the 2 men lift it at all. Thirdly, the instructions are so badly photocopied and faded it is difficult to follow them. Finally the unit is actually dangerous. Having had to get a handyman to help me with it he told me the screws attaching are so small that it is impossible to tighten them properly making the unit DANGEROUS. This company clearly doesn’t care about the products it sells, not it’s customer care. I recommend doing yourself a favour and buying the similar unit from John Lewis it’s worth it for the customer care alone.

Great products, excellent pricing and the customer service and delivery experience was friendly, prompt & comprehensive. Speaking as I find, very impressed.

Good selection of furniture online, and good website. I don't think they really need the business though, I wanted to order a chest of drawers and needed to know if they could deliver to London within 2 weeks because I am awau after that. I was told 'No we can't say, it depends on when the courier is in your area so we don't know after it leaves us' No willingness to help or provide further information. Not very impressive customer service

Just taken delivery of furniture before Christmas from Furniture World. Friendly staff all round. Ollie and Stuart were helpful in giving advice from beds to suites. We have just moved into a new build so wanted to buy all new furniture. They supply good quality items of furniture. We made numerous calls into their store measuring up deciding which items as we have down sized. Even the delivery guys sorry guys can't remember your names very professional in unpacking and positioning of our lovely new furniture. Some of it was quite heavy!
My husband and I are well pleased with the excellent service.

I wanted a sofa and chair that would fit my space and of good quality. The man in the store was very helpful and informative and showed me my options. I got a good deal and received my sofa and chair on the day it was expected. The delivery guys were very friendly and unpacked my order set it all up for me where I wanted it and took away all the packaging. Thank you all for a positive experience it’s been a pleasure doing business with you. I love my new sofa and chair. I would definitely recommend Furniture World! 😀

Lovely staff in the Penzance outlet, great advice re purchasing settee. Delivery bang on time, item in perfect condition and delivery men were a joy to deal with. Will happily deal again for further large items recommended.
