I placed an order and waited 5 days for a tracking number. After emailing them, I learned the order hadn't been sent because they couldn't process it without a postal code. While the postal code field wasn't required on the order form, it seems to be necessary for their system. The most annoying thing is that they never communicated this issue and waited for me to contact them about the order.

Worst experience I've ever had, they charge premium prices and used a carrier that has stolen my parcel and refuses to deliver it to my address (IMILE). It's been over a fortnight since the "attempted" delivery and the best they could do was tell me to figure it out for myself. I have requested a refund but God knows they'll try to worm themselves out of that...

The actual FPGBC is an interesting idea, and building it is pretty simple even for a novice. The finished console is a cheap and effective way to get an FPGA version of the Gameboy that looks great.

The problems I had were that initially, the main board didn't work properly. There was no sound, and after a few emails, Funnyplaying agreed to send a new board.

This was not a simple process however, as they take a while to reply, and they wanted videos of it not working etc.

It took quite a while to receive the original order, and then at least as long again to receive the replacement board.

Once I had finally started to put it together I discovered that the case I had ordered did not have a cut-out hole for the USB-C charging port.

I again had to message Funnyplaying, who advised that I had bought the wrong case. Now, it's not at all obvious what the right case is, or what the difference is, but they wouldn't do anything about this other than suggest that I cut the hole out myself.

I asked how I'd do this, and they said that people usually use a knife... Which implies that this happens all the time because they don't make it obvious which one you need (presumably so that people will have to go back and buy another case).

All in all, not a good experience.

Ordered a 3.0 inch laminated ips v3 kit for GBA SP. After installing a small black vertical line appeared in the display.. tried some things to fix it but did not work. Emailed funnyplaying and got response within 12 hours saying they send replacement display. Great service and pretty fast shipping to NL (around 7 days)

FPGBC KIT purchased twice and arrived perfectly.
And perfectly inserted, very bright light screen, the Gameboy color works perfectly. Good site funny playing, had no problems with what I received.Fast shipping in 8 days in belguim thank you.

Purchased their FPGBC kit, and it arrived damaged and non functional and poorly made.

Received a defective item, contacted customer service who stated that they have never had this feedback and therefore would not be offering a replacement. I have contacted them multiple times to request return details, no response.

Good quality, good price, relatively quick delivery, relatively easy to install (everything you need for the IPS kit).

Bought GBC RETRO PIXEL IPS LCD KIT and Shell + bottons.
Came 10 days after, super! and no import taxes !! DK
And fast reply om e-mail, if questions.

Ordered an IPS v2 screen and shell for GBC.

It came really quickly. Came in a nice protective case that I now keep the Gameboy in. The screen is amazing quality and I love it. Not had any problems in the first month of ownership.

Only issue was the instructions for my particular kit were non existent. I managed to piece together what I needed from a range of internet sources. I didn't have a problem.

I've bought from them with confidence after all those Youtube tech influencers praised the brand and their products so much. The item (an SP kit) arrived in no time, but it came with lots of issues such as blinking frames and graphics artifacts on some areas on the screen. As I made my research, I found out there are two main manufacturers for the screen they use both for Aliexpress kits and this one. Sadly, they've started shipping the worst one and many of my issues are known to affect the Toppoly panels. These are very bad quality compared to the other manufacturer's (LG).
After contacting Funnyplaying and sending them video evidence of the issues, they just told me to live with it.
I don't think they deserve a bit of the fame they managed to get in the Game Boy modding community and I will avoid the brand like the plague from now on.

Appear to be using a fly by night shipping company. Order YunExpress. The order arrived in the US (LA 6 weeks ago) but still hasn't been delivered and according to the tracking history has moved around the country and just sits at locations for days/weeks. I am starting to feel completely scammed here and advise to completely avoid this scamming website.

Pre-ordered a GBA IPS screen from them. They never mentioned the frame rate issues, quality issues, or the fact that the screen bezels are uneven!

I received my order in the time expected, 30+ days from China. My order was a mega drive/ genesis 196 in 1 cart and was packaged nicely. Customer service contacted me in under forty-eight hours to answer my question. All relevant information on console compatibility is available on the website.

This cart only works on a Genesis/Mega Drive from the late 1980's early 1990's. Nothing current works. The Cheap 20.00 Mega Drive from China will play one game without bringing up a selection menu. I haven't tried the still manufactured model from Brazil.
