Absolutely shocking service – they cannot pretend this review is a surprise, they simply don’t care about you and their conduct may cause you financial loss
Firstly, if Fund Ourselves (FO) respond below, I‘d ask anyone who reads that follow up to take it as not genuine. They have the facts and timelines. They’ll be misleading you if they only now try to apologise. I’ve flagged problems for months and suffered terrible customer service from day one. People need to be made aware of the risks and abysmal service.
I've enjoyed using 10+ other similar lender platforms for 6-7 years but had nothing but trouble since opening my FO account a year ago. I’ve tried to speak with them on the phone prior to leaving this review, I’ve even tried to engage with their CEO, N. Siam. It has been refused and every answer I receive on their ‘service’ is obfuscatory and curt rather than full, clear and helpful. They think ok customer service is leaving you waiting 1-2 weeks for the most basic responses. They don’t provide sufficient information on most issues, so you have to go back to them and wait another 1-2 weeks. FO is the only platform I've dealt with that ignores emails for huge chunks of time and won’t speak on the phone. Most other platforms call or email if they ever have questions on my account.
At the time of writing this review, my transaction statements are not up to date, I cannot access any loan information, ad hoc decisions have been made which have materially impacted me and my finances—all without notification or consultation.
Problems started on 6 April 2023 upon opening my account. 12 days later, I was told to download a form and set up an account. They didn’t check that I already had an account. On 19 April I emailed the completed form for a £1,913 transaction. No acknowledgment until 24 April. I got nothing further until 2 May when they said they could not ‘locate my payment’ from the transferring bank. Turns out the FO team provided the transferor with the wrong details. No apology given. Was it my fault?
1 June, I tried again with a new transfer. FO ignored all my feedback to help avoid the past problems and just acknowledged the form. The transferor sent FO the funds on 2 June. I emailed between then and 9 June. I got no responses but the transfer happened 11 June—9 days later with no reason given for the delay.
I requested a 3rd transfer on 26 June. The transferor sent the funds 2 days later but by 5 July I had heard nothing. Finally, on 7 July, they said they were experiencing a system issue which prevents allocating funds and I waited another 3 days.
Requests 4 and 5 were processed normally. A 6th request on 10 August had delays and wasn’t completed until 22 August. The 7th request on 24 August wasn’t completed until 15 September. An 8th request took over a week. The 9th request took over 11 days. All these transactions added up to £14,000 - £15,000 and dealing with them was unnecessarily stressful.
When I had a surplus in my account, I initiated a BACS transfer to my current account. They didn't acknowledge it or respond to me. I got an email a week later, with no information on what went wrong or apologies - just a "it's been transferred" response
Considering the extremely poor customer service, technical errors, evasive responses, and lack of apology or credibility, I decided to no longer use them and I emailed the support team and CEO over a month ago to (re)confirm my wasted time. FO was informed that they were the lowest performer on all aspects against every other service provider I’ve used and I elaborated on the problems. They responded with ‘we aim to respond within 4 weeks but may take 8’.
They don’t care about customer service. My last transaction in June went against my written instructions and caused financial loss. Statements are out of date, and I have no idea when I will access my money. On 28 June, they emailed, "£2000 waiting for our payments team to transfer out". I've not received that money and still not heard anything further from them today. What would you do if you were me?
Some things might be out of their control, but if I have 10+ other platforms that respond to queries and actions within 24-48 hours, it shines a light on just how terrible FO’s service is nearly 100% of the time. FO doesn’t deserve you as a customer and often doesn’t care about doing the bare minimum.
They know I’m unhappy about their disastrous service. They are a risk to your money and well-being. They are ignoring me, blocking transactions on my account, and not giving any information or alternatives. Their terms and conditions are poorly drafted and it’s questionable if they are legally enforceable. My concerns are genuine and well-founded and I am considering taking this to the financial regulator for review. I cannot urge you enough to stay away from this platform. There are multiple alternatives who do it much better. I'm experienced and they are honestly the worst I have ever dealt with…I’m not sure they care though

Can’t be relied upon had a few loans off them but for past year just keep getting declined you ask the question why and you don’t get a practical answer as to why ? What’s effecting my application what can I do to get approved in the future all you get back is multiple sets of data are used to access each applicant yes I know but what sets of data

That's a great reply as earlier on email today you said it was because the lending department was down so more lies by this company

Had couple of loans with them paid back on time and sometimes early applied again even though my credit score gone up still turn you down applied for a loan on line with different company passed straight away and money went in within the hour no loyalty with this company
