My client has received yet another unsolicited marketing email regarding business funding but this time from Funding Options. My client has never requested information about loans or funding, yet their details were sourced via a third-party list broker (as stated in the small print of the email).

While they do provide an unsubscribe link, I do not feel comfortable that my clients were shared in this way without their consent. For a company authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, I would expect higher standards when it comes to respecting business data and communication preferences.

I cannot comment on their financial products or services, but my experience with their marketing practices has been negative.

Extremely unprofessional and constant spam and harassment. 2-3 emails EVERY day! A very poor reflection on Tide and has actually made me consider looking at new banks for my business.

I was emailed by ‘Petya Petrova’ as I’m a tide business customer and was sent a calendar link to choose a time slot for a meeting/ call with Petya. Meeting time was confirmed via email, I blocked out space in my diary and actually turned down other appointments due to this commitment. On the day and time of appointment…. Nothing. After waiting for 15 mins I call the number provided in the email, no answer. No call or email to apologise or explain. Just constant spam ever since. I understand marketing emails and don’t mind them, but 2-3 per day every day without fail is ridiculous, especially when they ignore your attempt to do business with them.

AVOID at all costs! Much better options out there so a blessing in disguise I think!
