Great premium smelling car air freshener.

Item never arrived, sent multiple emails requesting update no response, asked bank for charge back to cover losses

I really can't smell the fragrance, despite following all instructions.

I definetly love fumebar, the scents are so beautiful and well made while the hardware of the diffuser is also sturdy and timeless, great customer support makes it a no Brainer!

I always try to support smaller a smaller business with a genuinely good product. Unfortunately my experience with this product and this company has shown me that, they are not one. I bought the set with a number of refills and I can safely say the scent did not even last a day. I even had it in my car for weeks, trying different settings on the air system etc to see if it just needed a little boost and no, nothing. The weakest, most dissapointing car product I have purchased and the stuff does not exactly come cheap. I have known a little tree air freshener last longer than this for not even 1 third of the cost this will set you back.

I wrote out to the company to try to sort this out and I have been totally ignored with no response to any message. It is shocking and quite frankly I feel ripped off. I would never suggest this product to anyone who values any sort of quality. Save your money and look elsewhere guys. A total waste.

You will see below that the seller has offered to make this right. However, when I asked for a refund by email to the address they provided nearly 3 days ago, I have still have no answer. Total scam.

Purchased fume bar and boost spray. Spray never arrived and was told it would be with me in 2 weeks. 7 weeks later still nothing and no reply to my emails and no refund. Taken my money and ran!

Bought it and the hombre 4 pack about 30 quid....looked nice in package.unit feels decent But hardly smell it.
If i put the fan on in my face u can abit but there's no ambience fragrance.
I've had better and feel abit done/ would have returned it but can't be arsed.running a fabreeze in car much better. Wanted to like it.puts me off others like drift now two..sorry

The products are great, there’s something for everyone on their website, whether you like powerful or slightly more subtle scents. I like to keep it fairly subtle, as being drowned in a powerful smell makes me feel ill, especially with the amount of miles I do. It really is a great product.

Now, onto the thing that lets this company down, the order wait time. I’ve ordered from Fumebar 3 or 4 times, each and every time I have ordered from them, I have had to remind them that my order still hasn’t shipped, 5 or so days after it was placed, to which I usually get the reply from them saying ‘Oh yeah, we’ll send that out, sorry’. I’m not a snob who expects everything to be perfect, I expect maybe a 2 day turn around time between the order placed and it leaving the warehouse, perfectly realistic expectations, but no. On this occasion, I ordered a few items a week ago, which are currently still showing as ‘order placed’ on their tracker. So, I’ve had to do the usual, and email them to remind them that my order is still waiting to ship, something that’s getting very boring now. Every time I order from them, makes me less and less likely to order from them again.

To sum things up:

Pros:
Great product, long lasting (depending on scent), scents for most people’s tastes, well made and looks nice, customer service is great at getting back to you quickly (The issue is of course, not their fault after all).

Cons:
Each time I order from them, I have to remind them that they still haven’t shipped my order, a week after it was placed.

If you place an order, expect to have to chase them a few days after the order is placed.

Amazing product, terrible turn-around times.

Some scent bars last longer and are stronger than others. After about 2 weeks in the holder I take them out and leave them next to the vent. You can smell the scent a lot longer that way.
Some beautiful smells.

Fragrances are nice, but they don’t last and aren’t particularly strong. Also, the diffuser is obviously just a drop shipped product from Temu/aliexpress for 10x the price. (£2.57, almost identical)

The first time I bought a selection they lasted well. Not well at all this time!
They smell great, just not for long enough.

Great marketing but actual product was not nearly powerful enough to distribute any decent power of fragrance within my car. Would maybe need to buy 2 or 3 fumebars and have them positioned in different parts of car?

As an ammendum to the below. They got in touch eventually and my order was dispatched along with some freebies as a make good hence upgrading the review to 4 star. They do have a great product and I will use them again but I'll leave the original review below as i think it's fair and they do need to get on top of this. A delay/supply issue is totally fine, not responding to customers is concerning.

I made an order then after a few days got an email saying it was out of stock. No worries, they offered me another scent or I could wait for mine to come in stock.
I sent an email back asking for a different scent....no reply, sent a follow up a few days later...no reply then did it again a couple of days later and again no reply. I also called the number on their website which went straight to voicemail.

I even tried the email posted by (presumably) the owner posted here in previous negative reviews but no answer.

I have had a few orders from them before and their product is actually excellent however that doesn't matter when they don't send your order or reply to emails!

I have ordered from Fumebar previously and loved the scents. Easy to install, generally good quality (although the clip being rubber would be better to prevent damage), and smell lasted quite a long time.

However, I placed another order (as I was so impressed) in mid November with 3-4 day shipping, and have not received my product. I contacted customer support via email and Instagram on 4 separate occasions and have not received any reply.

What used to be a good company now feels like a scam...

EDIT: since writing this, I received a very nice message from one of the founders who sent me replacements and threw in a freebie too which was very kind. I've increased to 4 stars but left off a star as it doesn't minimise the overall experience. I'm glad to see customer satisfaction is still meaningful to them though.

Unit looks fantastic, only tried 1 scent, but a week later I’m very impressed, was a mix up with shipping, but contacted me by email offering apologies and items were on there way, with a goodwill freebie included

Super happy with my refills from Fumebar. The holder itself is really sleek, and the scents are subtle, long-lasting, without being overpowering. I'll definitely be ordering again once I run out. P.S. My initial order went missing in the post, but Fumebar were quick to issue a fresh one with a little extra for the inconvenience. Top notch all round.
