At 62 and newly retired, I’ve been figuring out what “my style” looks like in this next chapter of life. I’m dressing more casually now, but I still want to look put-together and feel good in what I wear.

That’s where Frump Fighters came in.

I decided to try their calendar on a whim — and wow, am I glad I did. The calendar is so easy to follow. It gently walked me through my closet and helped me make practical decisions instead of emotional ones. I was able to:

✔️ Create a clear list of what I actually need
✔️ Identify what was too dingy, too old, or simply never worn
✔️ Let go of pieces that didn’t fit my current lifestyle

Somewhere — maybe on the Frump Fighters blog — I read the question:
“Knowing what I know now, would I buy this piece again?”

I was shocked at how many times I said no.

I’ve tried the Marie Kondo “does it bring you joy?” strategy before. The problem? Every bargain I ever scored brought me joy — because I was so proud of my bargain-hunting skills!

But here’s the truth I had to face:
A $100 blouse you bought for $10 is not a bargain if you never wore it.

That one question changed everything. It helped me see my closet through the lens of who I am now, not who I used to be or who I thought I should be.

The result? SIX boxes of clothes gone!

Now my closet looks better — and I feel better getting dressed every day. It’s amazing how much lighter you feel when your space reflects your real life.

And I want to be very clear: I do not know the woman behind Frump Fighters. I’ve never met her. She doesn’t know me. I’m not being paid or asked to say any of this. Nor am I an influencer or marketing professional. I’m simply a 62-year-old retired woman sharing what genuinely worked for me — woman to woman.

I’m including a photo of my very first Frump Fighters outfit — and I can honestly say I feel comfortable, current, and like myself in this new season.

Very disappointed. Had to have to classify each item - just an overly-complicated way to enter items and make outfits. Then, you go k you have paid for full access but, No! If you want to wear a blazer instead of a cardigan, you can’t because a blazer is considered “business attire.” And, the interactive is very glitchy. Seems like something is frequently wrong

Corina, you are never stingy with your time. When I have a question, you answer it completely. Since I'm older (71) than most of your other clients, I listen carefully. I have to learn what they're learning, so I can go beyond those lessons to becoming a pulled-together senior citizen. That's what I aspire to: puling myself together. Your hand-outs and other documents are beautifully prepared and make sense. I've enjoyed using them and will keep using them. For example, I didn't know a thing about nail gel (although I race through Target about twice a month), and I'd never heard of a sweater piller. You illuminate all the corners I don't even notice. Shopping is fun because I have a plan. Thanks so much for your knowledge, your help, and the help of your staff.

I love having a calender to select an outfit from thats based on seasons. so if its a particularly hot time in my area (Southern hemisphere), I can look through the July(Summer) calender.

The information I received was helpful and gave me great guidelines to begin decluttering my closet and focusing on the clothes and colors that look best on me.

They were pleasant to engage with and tried hard to deliver and customer service was extremely quick to answer when I had a question.

However, I found their "system" to be overly and unnecessarily complicated.

I did buy the spiral bound wardrobe guide - which was an add on - and I have found it to be useful.

Love useing it. It gives fun back in life again. On your cell phone one look you know what you got and what you need to buy. I been looking for this a long time. Take your time learning how to use it. Then it's a peace of cake. Thank you so much Frump Fighters.
