My items never arrived to the UK. No response to my emails after a month of chasing.

I also paid nearly £100 in customs fees on top of my order.

Do not buy from Fred Martin – no communication, no refunds.

Do not order if you’re outside the EU.

Duties need to be paid which they don’t make clear at all, some very small print. I’ve just paid an extra £50 for my product to be released, judging by the other reviews it looks unlikely it’ll arrive…

The process of paying the duties was also a nightmare. I’ve heard nothing back from the company after multiple emails. The returns policy is also ridiculous if you don’t pay the duties.

Be very careful when ordering from the UK as your purchase will be subject to Import Duties and VAT and they do not make you aware of this at the point of purchase.

I have seen a lot of negative comments about this company but my shoes arrived today 1 week after ordering. They were beautifully packaged and the shoes fitted perfectly and were incredibly comfortable. Also a lovely colour.

We need to update the five star review system to allow for zero stars for merchants like Fred Martin. I ordered a pair of cognac slippers and when they arrived the shoes were actually 2 different colors. When I reached out to customer service they asked for pictures which I sent. They actually acknowledged that the shoes were 2 different colors but would not issue me a refund. Instead they said I could keep the shoes as a “gift” and offered store credit. These guys are truly a fraud as other reviewers have said.

Appalling experience. it sounds like a UK co, with its name and £sterling pricing, but is based in Spain. My order is trapped by customs. I don't think it is my responsibility, they hide behind T&Cs which claim tax is buyers responsibility.
Beware, you are likely to feel you have been scammed and duped

Scammers. They send orders more than a month late, and then it's an ordeal to try to return them. They don't respond to emails, letters, nothing.

Ok after months they have replied and I could process the reimbursement. It is still a shame the customer service they offer

I ordered a US size 9 shoe from Fred Martin’s website, but the delivery was late and they sent the wrong size (9.5 instead of 9). When I contacted support, they claimed size 9 does not exist, even though it showed in stock on their website when I ordered.

It took over a week of back-and-forth on WhatsApp (their only contact method) just to arrange an exchange. After returning the shoes, the replacement shipment got stuck at customs and I was asked to pay an unexpected $42 fee. I have been contacting their support and no response.

Prodotti molto belli e di qualità, come si vedono in foto e dalle descrizioni. Purtroppo nel mio caso ho ricevuto le scarpe con misure differenti da quelle prenotate, ho avviato la procedura di reso specificando il problema e mi hanno restituito anche i costi di spedizione (che per il reso non sono previste).

Het is dat ik geen 0 sterren kan geven daarom maar 1 ster.
Wat een waardeloos bedrijf, wilde de schoenen retourneren omdat ze te smal waren. Klantenservice gemaild maar geen antwoord, andere mailadressen idem 0 reactie .
Het zijn gewoon een stel oplichters helaas kan ik het niet anders zeggen.
Ik wil dan ook iedereen waarschuwen, koop hier geen schoenen want als revierde mis is of ze zijn te klein kunnje naar je geld fluiten.

Communication was virtually non-existent - I had to chase them up on Instagram after multiple emails bounced back. My order took far longer than the fast delivery I was charged for, and when the shoes finally arrived, they were uncomfortable and non-returnable despite what the website suggested. In the end, after months of back and forth, I had to get my money back through my bank.

This website is a scam so please do not order here or your money will be gone. They have a fb page, instagram account but none of them will respond. Wanna call them? The telephone number on their page doesn’t exist either. I’ve sent them 3 emails already and still no answer.

De geleverde schoenen waren te klein en ik wilde deze retourneren. Aangezien het retourbeleid niet op de site stond, stuurde ik een mail met de vraag wat te doen want ik zag dat mijn schoenen niet refundable waren. Waarom weet ik nog steeds niet. Enfin na 5 mails nog steeds geen antwoord/reactie op mijn vragen. Mooie schoenen maar een waardeloos beleid en zeer slechte service.

Oplichters kijk uit! 2 schoenen besteld wat een beetje strak zat beiden teruggestuurd en daarna niks meer vernomen. terijl ze volgens het trckingnr duidelijk afgeleverd waren na 10 tallen emails en tel. taal noch teken vernomen van ze en kon fluiten naar mijn geld.
