Framed & Matted Omdömen 

I was very pleased with the quality of the frames and mats, the process to configure the frames, quick support when I had questions, and packaging (very well packed). Shipping was speedy for a custom product. Since I was buying frames as a gift I felt a bit hesitant in trying to make choices for someone else. I received color samples for a few I was considering and an extra mat for the frames I purchased. Since the recipient liked the color of the extra one better than the one I preferred, I was pleased Framed & Matted had this option. I’ll be happy to be a repeat customer for myself.

I had two pieces of art framed and I could not be happier. The quality of the frame and the matting is great and the instructions were very easy to follow. I have framed many pieces of art over the years and these frames are as good if not better than ones I paid hundreds of dollars more for.

My wife and I were recently given a gift from my sister, a watercolor painting that our grandfather painted over 60 years ago. It was very special to me but it wasn't framed or well cared for at all for many years and it was showing its age, particularly along the edges. It is a bit larger than 20" x 30" so we thought if we could find the right combination of frame and mat that it would help this painting restore to its original beauty.

But in these crazy times of coronavirus my wife and I didn't want to go to a local framing store so we started to search online and Framed & Matted was one of the first that we came across and their website is really easy to use. We initially had some reservations about color and then my wife proposed a black mat as there are traces of black in the painting and we both thought that would look really sharp.

So we took the plunge and risked whether it would look good or not and how well would Framed & Matted perform. Well, F&M cretainly exceeded our expectations. We had our frame kit a week after ordering it on-line and we couldn't be happier with the results.

We will definitely be buying more frames and mats from F&M for other artwork we have in our home.

I bought some acrylic on canvas artwork from last year's summer vacation and finally had a chance to frame and matte them. The Framed & Matted tool on the website was a nice balance of ease of use with what I needed aesthetically. The time it took as well as the value all made for a great experience.

The single most annoying frustrating project. The backing on the frame fits so tight that to put in back in, you end up bending the metal holders. Then it gets stuck. Then its impossible to move it in either direction and it starts tearing the backing or bending the holders even more or possibly your art work. Hey Einsteins! You don't have to have the backing the EXACT dimensions of the opening. How about backing off the measurements 1/16" or 1/32" so the consumer can make this project more enjoyable.

I was so BEYOND annoyed it went into the garbage. A complete waste of money. Folks, save yourself time and money and go elsewhere. These guys are a joke! You have been warned.

P.s. Even the matting was the wrong size!

Perfect experience start to finish. Whenever I have something of an irregular size to frame, I stress over the cost of custom framing. This made it simple to select a reasonably priced frame and mat. The frame was delivered quickly, impeccably packaged to avoid any damage in shipment. It had everything I needed to assemble and hang in 10 minutes. Simple and well done. Couldn't ask for more.

Ok, I don’t want to sound cheesy but I’ve got to say... I have been in the Service Industry now for 32 years and I am pretty hard when it comes to Service because I know how it works and I MUST SAY THAT Chrissy with ‘Framed and Matted’ has, BY FAR, TOPPED ANY/EVERY Service experience I have EVER had. She not only replied to my email with a phone call (I asked for someone to call me) when I felt lost in the process of ordering my frames for my artwork i purchased for my new house, she designed the frames herself after I got my first set of frames and they were too small for my staircase. Chrissy somehow made it a magical experience. THANK YOU Chrissy!!!! I sent back the original 4 frames to receive the most beautiful, perfect and classy frames. I am so proud to say they were hung yesterday (Thursday), FINALLY and I cannot be more proud. My ENTIRE EXPERIENCE is one I will NEVER forget and I don’t know how to thank, not only Chrissy but EVERYONE that was involved in this experience. Thank you very very much for going over the top to bring such joy to my new home. I am more than grateful, WOWED is a good one, but there is no word that can explain how lucky I feel to have gotten the original phone call from such a wonderful lady.
