Myself an my partner signed up for the health care course
First of all they signed us both up to the wrong course so had to ring them back, then they sent the right course to my partner and the wrong one again to myself so had to ring back again on the day of the course
We were told over the phone that the course was cancelled (THEY CANCELLED) we filled out the cancelleation form for our refund which we did not recieve so rang back again they said we didnt fill out the form so did a second form.
Still no refund, then they proceeded to take another 2 payments and are still refusing to refund any money
Company is a joke and should not be trusted

I recently signed up for a course on this website, but my circumstances changed and I requested to cancel. From the start, they avoided giving a clear answer.
They advertise a 14-day cooling-off period, however this is completely voided the moment you access the online training. That means you are not allowed to view the course content to see if it is suitable without losing your right to cancel. This makes the cooling-off period meaningless and misleading.
How are customers supposed to know whether a course is right for them if they are not allowed to access the material?
I contacted their support team by phone and struggled to get clear information. I then emailed support and received a response from someone named James, after which all communication stopped and my emails were ignored.
I have now contacted the Ombudsman regarding Forus Training, as their practices appear designed to take payment while offering no reasonable refund option or customer protection.
I strongly recommend staying away from this company.
ok so first of all they made little out of me for doing Leaving cert Applied on the phone saying “if you did the real leaving cert” which infuriated me.
Then i couldn’t even get access to the cours because i had to ring to book an exam for 3 weeks in advance, which i had to cancel due to personal reasons.
Their administration is shocking they take days to respond to emails.
After that i wanted to cancel i contacted someone within the forus training team who said they’ll speak to someone about it. five days after still no response.
then i rang and they sent me a cancellation form they wanted to charge me a 100€ Admin fee for cancellation, so i contacted them said the contract is voidable and that i will take it up with the CCPC if i don’t receive a full refund, i also back charged via my bank.
I would 100% say DO NOT USE FORUS. They’re rude, their administration is slow and they’re just trying to grab money from students.
Everything is money with them, very slow to respond and not very helpful. Wasted €450+ and have no certificate at the end of it because they wanted more money constantly for everything.
Tracey Cannon is an outstanding tutor. She presented the course with great clarity and professionalism, taking the time to thoroughly explain every detail. Her teaching style ensured that the learning experience was not only comprehensive but also highly engaging.
I completed Major award in Level 5 for Intellectual disability Studies, I can not recommend John Madden enough as I had him for my last 2 or 3 modules, he made me feel at ease and made the online classes fun and easy to understand.
I have passed the modules with merits and distinctions. for a busy mam with 2 young kids and a full time job the option of online learning was the only way for me and never once did I feel under severe pressure. I also had Emma O'Brien and Nancy P for some of my modules which both ladies were also amazing and they definitely are great at what they do and follow up with you after class to make sure that you have full understanding of what was thought.
Didn’t have a great experience!
I changed my course a couple of weeks in which I had to pay another fee which I understood. My idea of a self pace course would be that I could do it in my own time. I was 80% through the course and had to stop for a few weeks as my little boy was sick. When I logged back in I was told my time was up. Was told I could have an extension but would also have to pay another fee. Definitely not self pace!!!!
Just completed early learning and care course with FORUS training and just wanted to share my positive experience as my trainer Amanda Leahy was absolutely a great support and guidance throughout the the course.She was very responsive with feedback,and gave very clear guidance on how to complete the assignments and exams.Cant recommend this tutor enough,got my results and so delighted but without her I definitely wouldn’t of did as well.
I am completely unsatisfied with the Special Needs Assisting course in levels 5&6 that they offer. The price that they are charging for little to no support is absolutely ridiculous! I have listed my complaints below.
Our first trainer couldn’t even reply to our emails about our assignments and continuously showed up late for class. This resulted in the whole class needing extensions due to the poor lack of organisation that Forus and this member of staff had. This meant our course finished much later than we were initially thought as didn’t get our assignment results until later.
Second of all. I submitted my drafts to them where I received no response for weeks. I then had to follow up 2 weeks later and ask when I should expect to receive my feedback from the drafts I had earlier submitted and yet again got no response. I then had to contact them a THIRD TIME another week later as I was not receiving any response or draft feedback. I finally received my feedback a week later from my 3rd follow up email. My assignments were due in less than 2 days giving me no time whatsoever to make any changes to my work. I think that it’s absolutely outrageous that they were given almost a month to give me feedback, I had to follow up three times and then was given a day and a half to upload my final work!
Nobody should be wasting almost €700 on a course with Forus Training if this is how they treat their students. I don’t understand what I paid almost €700 for!!

Amazing company, couldn't do enough to help you while your studying with them. Very easy follow instructions, some one always on the phone or online to help you, by far the best company to train with, absolutely outstanding staff, my last tutor Karen was excellent so kind caring and understanding and any worries or stresses she eased them... I recieved a distinction so that speaks volumes on how amazing she is as a tutor... I won't train anywhere else
My whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Both the staff and the tutor were so helpful with everything. Special mention to Lisa and Karen for all the help. I would definitely recommend forus training to anyone
