Fortress has patented cold weather clothing technology that keeps you warm, even when wet, including our famous base layer, survival gear, and winter workwear. There is no such thing as bad weather. Only bad clothing or gear.
I accidentally ordered the wrong size due to a website issue and my not seeing a very small size indication. (I'm a M and I got XXXL). I returned the item to them and they have yet to respond to multiple emails from me asking about next steps. I have not received a refund, credit or new items. Crickets. Terrible company to do business with!
Purchased a base layer set.
Pants have a draw string waist band.
At $140 for each piece I would have hoped that they would at least have a nice wide elastic waistband.
Padded insulation is balling up after 2 washes.
1/4 zip top has a nice high neck but no way to hang it up without a hanger.
Both top and bottom retain sweat so if you are doing anything more than standing still you will be soaked after few hours of activity.
Compared to a normal base layer of spandex and polyester material there is little difference besides being twice as expensive. They both have a way of making you feel hot and cold at the same time. Most likely from the moisture retention.
Customer service is horrible if you can even get ahold of them.
Return policy is that it has to be in new unused condition for a return.
How can you tell if it's worth the price without trying it ?

If there's anybody thinking about doing business with this company. Fortress clothing company They were on shark tank and they sell these winter jackets that are all hype. Basically the jacket is a piece of garbage. The jacket is nothing but hype, an a complete scam. This company stands behind nothing. I bought a jacket and they want me to pay money to ship it back to them. The jacket fits like crap The sizing is ridiculous. The jacket is made like complete garbage. It's like they took a bunch of foam and duck tape, and made a jacket out of it. The company does not respond to anything. They are the worst company you could ever do business with. They should not even be in business. They brag about how much money they make but they're too cheap to pay to send their jacket that somebody does not want and does not fit properly and it's made like complete garbage back. I am posting this post to tell people to stay as far away from this company as possible. Do business with legit companies not these illegitimate SCAMMER'S, FORTRESS CLOTHING. That will just rip you off royally.
