Really friendly and very knowledgeable, the range of stock both new and pre-owned is vast and there is something for everyone. Plenty of rare gems all at amazing prices! Well worth checking the website daily! Customer service is second to none, anything you have posted out comes well wrapped and you can tell Footplate have pride in what they do!

Down to the ever increasing prices, I have been buying a fair amount of pre-owned items from Footplate. I have no complaints with regard to the wonderful service given on all occasions. A fully tracked 48 hour package service on delivery and notification throughout the order process keeps you well informed. Items are as described in the advertisement. Unfortunately I did receive a non working loco recently ( first and only one ), a quick email to Footplate got me a return label and the item was repaired and back on my layout within days. This is one model railway business that can really be relied upon to support their customers. Thank you.

item was well wrapped and quickly dispatched and delivered. Model was in as new condition, so was pleased and impressed with product and service. One point on the 'daily digest', would it be possible to put the sold out at the top of the item. You see the picture and get interested, then scroll down only to find out it's been sold out, which is rather disappointing, but have no idea what it sold for.

The locomotives were well represented on the website and the actual condition was even better than I expected. They arrived at my home in the United States just eight days after the purchase. Thanks to a sturdy shipping carton, bubble wrap, and heavy paper filler, they were protected from some obvious bumps in transit. I would happily buy from Footplate again.

Really great engine (Heljan Railcar) that ran straight out of the box. Good packaging, very rapid delivery.

And because of the good advert and great service, no need to contact them.
