I subscribed to the 3 day free trial and i cancelled on day 1 but they still charged $300. Scammers. They dont have anywhere to contact them. I sent email no response. Dont waste your money. They will take your details and say you will be charged after the trial but guess what, you get charged immediately and once you dont like the service your money is gone. Take my advise . dont sign up to them.

I agree with the other 1 star reviews. As have had a similar experience with tech support. They will respond but not actually solve the problems I’ve reported.

It’s glitchy software, at best and with useless tech support, that makes this a waste of money.

I would NOT recommend this, don’t get sucked into the lifetime deal like I did.

I got this months ago, and with problem after problem, I've finally given up.

This product is useless and the team don't care about their customers.

- The AI is pointless because there's so few credits you'd be lucky to get out one post a week. I still need to write all my posts in ChatGPT and paste them in.

- When I first started using it, you could add a first comment to your post. This stopped working soon into using it. I've contacted support numerous times about it and it still doesn't work.

- If you start a post, but haven't added an asset yet, you can save it as a draft, but then can't continue to edit it. You could then drag it to the calendar and try to edit it from there, but if you had only written the text and not added the aset yet, you can't drag it to the calendar so your only option is to delete it and start again.

- They've recently changed the interface so now when you drag an asset into the upload box nothing happens. You can click it and browse instead, but when you select your asset to be uploaded nothing happens.

- For any kind of support, you don't open a chat box like every other platform in 2025, you have to transport yourself back to 2000 and put in a ticket and wait for an email in a day or two, by which point you've long moved on to doing something else.

Obviously with the first comment and useless AI, I'd already spent out on it so used it as a simple scheduler for a while because that's all it's good for, but had to set alarms to manually post comments, but now with all the other issues, it can't even do that.

I'm done.

If you're interested in this, save yourself the money. It doesn't work and the support is practically non-existent.

Be careful with this site, THEY WILL ROB YOU!!! I took the 3-day free trial, tried it, and didn't like it; it doesn't offer quality content. On the second day, I canceled the free trial and they charged me $19 anyway. It's impossible to contact customer service. I had to cancel my card because it won't let you delete your data. DO NOT USE IT!!!

I tried their free plan and even if i cancelled my subscription hours later, WELL BEFORE THE 3 DAYS TESTING PERIOD! My card got charged! I have the paperwork and both invoices one for 0 and one for $19 THE SAME DAY!!

THey are scamming people like this!

In principle the software is great. However, if you’re a small business, they ignore you. There are bugs that have not been fixed for months. The customer service team feed you with excuses and don’t reply. Is it too much to ask to be open and honest? I’ve resisted leaving a negative review but I’ve had enough

I am new to Followr, but I believe I have enough experience to give an objective opinion.

When I started my business three years ago, I tried a few social media posting applications, but couldn't justify the crazy monthly fees. This left me posting across multiple platforms, ultimately polarising on Facebook.

I found Followr on AppSumo, and before buying into Followr, I took a month's subscription to test it out. I did have an initial problem connecting to one of the social platforms, and although the issue quickly resolved itself, my interaction with Followr's support was prompt and easy.

I have found Followr to be intuitive and easy to use. I've used the text generation AI features enough to believe that with good prompting, they will produce the output I need. I cannot comment on the image generation features, as I probably won't use them.

I very much like the ability to create one post and then alter it for different platforms. This makes posting across platforms easier.

The scheduling features seem to work well, although I did have one post fail on a single platform. I expect this is more to do with the Social Platform API, rather than Followr.

Overall, Followr seems like a solid solution at a price I can afford and justify.

Followr offers a wide range of tools to create amazing posts, and the best part is you can post directly to your social media accounts. Once the AI understands your website, the content it generates is highly relevant and valuable. I’m truly impressed with the quality of the posts it creates! This tool has made my social media management so much easier, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend!

LOVE IT JUST AMAZING.

This is a great app to get you started with organizing your social brand. It remembers your brand colors, mission, and products details once you add the details.

You can customize the types of post, the creatives and the ai art style prior to creating the post. You can generate up to 5 post at a time which is great for bulk content creation.

They finally have automation so you can set posts on rotation rather than starting from scratch.

You can also upload and save your own media to the platform which helps with staying organized.

If you bring your own api, I highly suggest connecting Claude Sonnet, the content is 100% better and sounds less generic.

You can respond to comments and messages directly in the platform, so (for the most part) there's really no need to go on to any other platform once you connect all your socials.

Cons/Future Updates

The app will generate it's own content for you, BUT the creatives are not always the most atheistic. Sometimes I have to go between Followr and Canva just to replace the creative.

Although you can upload your own video, the app will not naturally grab content from your uploaded media when generating a post. I know this is already possible on other scheduling tools so I'm hoping this is already in the works.

You have to style your videos before you upload it, whether on Canva or CapCut. The app will only allow you to schedule and add an ai written summary when posting a video. Additionally, when creating video post, you have to create them from the media tab instead of the post tab because videos aren't fully integrated into the platform yet.

I wish we could do stories and carousels. These are truly the only thing lacking otherwise I would give this app 5 stars.
