Habe Ende Juli bestellt und am 14.08 dann die Email erhalten dass tucktec.eu ein Insolvenzverfahren eingeleitet hat. In der Mail war noch die Rede davon dass man in der Folgewoche mehr Informationen bekommt was leider bis Heute nicht passiert ist.
Kann nur jedem Betroffenen raten hier über Trustpilot bei Tucktec.com zu bewerten und nicht bei Tucktec.eu um denen Druck zu machen sich um das Problem zu kümmern.

Finger weg von Tucktec.eu !!! Ich habe Anfang Juli bestellt. Nach 9 Tagen wurde angeblich versendet, ohne Tracking Nummer. Nachdem ich mich nach 12 Tagen nach der Lieferung erkundigt habe, bekam ich ausgesprochen wirre mails. Jede selbst gesetzte Deadline wurde dann von ihnen nicht gehalten. Eine Woche nach meiner Stornierung immer noch keine Antwort. Ich hoffe, ich bekomme mein Geld zurück.

They never delivered anything, refuse to refund the money and do not accept or care about European consumer protection laws.

Watch out it is SCAM! Buy something else!

We purchased one of the first fold-up boats (2023). Then we purchased a newer one (2025). The first older one failed because the sides of the kayak need more support; it essentially folds in half while you're in the water. The newer one has a design change that prevents this. Register your kayak and the company will send you a new one if your old one fails.

I orderd my Kajak in November on the european site, still no delivery and no money back. just scam...

The US Site didn't answer my request on this topic...

I ordered a pair of kayaks from the European site for Tucktec in late November 2024 as a Christmas present. Based on the order and delivery guidelines on the site, this was in good time for receipt before Christmas (even allowing for delivery to the UK from Lithuania).

To cut a long series of incompetencies short (including, but not limited to, multiple false promises that products had been dispatched and sharing customer email addresses between their client base) I finally abandoned hope of receiving the product in April 2025.

I don't doubt the company has had legitimate material and courier issues (this has recently been detailed on the website blog) but, in an age of email and social media, that doesn't excuse the complete lack of communication or guidance over the past 5 months.

The only reason this review sits at 2 stars (instead of 1) is that the company has made good on their promise of a full refund.

The product might well be excellent but, unfortunately, I can only review 5 months of barrel bottoming customer service and false promises.

Hopefully this is just a learning curve and the company start to get this right in the coming months. For now though, it's a hard "pass" from me.

I ordered my kayak in November, it's mid February, no word on my order, no updates, no timeline, Tucktec NEVER answers the phone, feel I have been robbed.

I emailed on 4th December to cancel this order as it's been months since ordering. As of today 8th Jan, they still haven't processed the refund despite promising to do so on many occasions.

Was ordered on 2nd Nov, so now over two month ago.

Feel like a scam.

I purchased it for a trip in mid-August. I canceled the second week of September when it hadn't arrived. There were no updates on shipping or order status. They sent me a cancelation acknowledgment email on 9/15. I have never been refunded despite multiple efforts to resolve the issue. Their BBB rating (they are unaccredited) is abysmal. At this point, it's no longer about the money. They may make a great product, but neither I, my friends, nor anyone I ever talk to will ever know. Avoid.

Thieves. I paid over $300 for a Kayak on August 16th and as of today (December 17th) have not received anything. I have contacted Tucktec requesting a refund and I get no response. DO NOT BUY FROM TUCKTEC. They are shady and the product is lacking to say the least. Get an Oru. It may be a little more expensive but it’s a better product and I don’t think a company backed by Robert Herjavec will scam you. Tucktec, if you read this, give me back my money and replace the first “T” in your name with an “F”.

NO KAYAK AFTER TWO MONTHS. I ordered a kayak in October 2024 and never received it. Tucktec sent one email two weeks after my order date stating that the kayak would be shipped soon. It's now December 2024. I contacted the company requesting an update, but no reply.

Beware! I bought a tucktec kayak 9 weeks ago. Kayak was never sent. I contacted tucktec numerous times, left phone messages, sent numerous messages. No response. This company is either a scam or going out of business.

On second use seam tore 1/4 of the way down and completely useable. I’ve messaged the company directly twice without response the moment it happened. This occurred February 24th after receiving the kayak in December. I’ve given the company plenty of time to respond to my complaints as it’s May 5th at the time of writing this. Apparently this isn’t the first time it’s happened and the company seems to be deleting and covering up negative reviews.. Super disappointed as I wanted to enjoy this product!

I 100% recommend a Tucktec to anyone who is looking for a recreational kayak!!! I have a 10-ft 2023 model, which I LOVE! I get out on the water as often as I can, and I’m fortunate that I can use it year-round because of where we live. It’s so portable that I carry it around in the bike trailer I originally bought for my dog, which now also serves as a beach cart and kayak cart. I can put in anywhere I can get to the water’s edge. No special roof rack or kayak ramp needed.

I will also say I am so impressed by Tucktec as a company. Their customer service is something you rarely experience anymore, so it stands out. They stand behind their products and are amazingly responsive. When I first bought my kayak, I did have some issues. I sent a handful of emails, always in the evening or on the weekend. I got a response back within the hour every single time from Dan (Daniel?). I was floored. On top of that, they immediately resolved my issues without hesitation, even though that meant replacing a kayak.

I cannot say enough good things about this company, including the fact that the kayaks are made right here in the USA.

The only possible downside is for the introverted kayakers: When other people are around when you’re putting in or taking out, they will inevitably gawk at you and ask questions. Sometimes when I’m not feeling social, I’ll purposely choose a more isolated launch point. 😁

I think Tucktec could mobilize an entire PR/sales push if they made all of us ambassadors and equipped us with QR codes or something to share with interested gawkers who are in the market for a kayak!

The kayak is great but, we were to get a paddle with the kayak we purchased at Christmas 2023. No paddle was in shipment. We have reached out to customer service multiple times about this an another issue but, no response.

The customer service is impeccable! I had an issue with our kayaks and the customer service folks were quick to reply, understanding and very helpful. Unfortunately it's a rare find these days to have this. Very happy with our purchase and the customer service. Thank you Tucktec!!!

Tucktec has the best customer service. The kayak that I have been using for the past 2 summers cracked on a seam while I was folding it back up. My wife contacted Tucktec the next day and a warranty replacement was started. We got my replacement within 2 weeks as we had to wait a week for the color I wanted.

The boat is a great product! Love paddling anyplace at anytime. So handy to carry at all times and to just bring it out at a whim. Thanks so much #tucktec!

Had the maiden voyage in my new 10’ pro Tucktec today. Paddled for 4 & 1/2 hours enjoying the fall color and serenity. Thank you Tucktec for making a kayak I can carry by myself and fit in the trunk of my car.

Just got my Tucktec after ordering Sunday night (fast turnaround!) and my husband and I were able to assemble it in about 15 minutes on our very first try! Now that the folds are used to bending, I should be able to do it by myself in 5 minutes easily. It really is that straightforward!

It’s also light enough that I can carry it by myself, which is important for my being able to use it frequently.

I’ll post a follow up after my maiden voyage tomorrow.
