Using this program since 2021 has changed my life and the support staff is always so helpful! There really is no way to bypass it, which is perfect for me

Very good customer service and a very good product. Many of my old tricks did not work in getting around FocusMe, and those that did, support already knew about and was just a case of enabling settings. Can strongly recommend ⏰👍

I've been using FocusMe for seven years. It's my main blocking software because it's easy to use, flexible enough to block what I want, and any issues I've had have always been promptly resolved by the customer service team. Thank you immensely to Ryan Sagolili on the customer service team who had solved my most recent issue by the time I woke up the next morning. Absolutely stellar work, mate. I should say as well that the issues have always been user-inflicted and never about the software itself. By that I mean I've blocked something in a way I didn't mean to block it and needed a reset or I've forgotten or misplaced my license key or username and password combination. I've also found the AI coach helpful at identifying areas where I could tweak my blocks so that I catch bad habits before they turn into bigger problems down the road. I've tried other blocking software and they do the job to some degree but the ability to go super specific with FocusMe as well as its reliability, customer service quality, and continual development is what keeps me using it.

Bad habits should be hard to start and hard to continue.

However, in reality, it’s usually the opposite.

Just like how staying in bed and continuing to sleep feels much easier than waking up and getting out of bed, many bad habits are surprisingly easy both to begin and to keep going.

Over more than ten years, I’ve experimented with many different kinds of blocking systems and productivity software, including stricter “full lock” approaches. But the Pause system in FocusMe has been the one that fits me best.

In my case, completely locking everything down — which essentially makes bad habits nearly impossible to start, rather than merely hard to start — often backfires because I sometimes need flexibility. I also work as a freelancer, so my schedule changes constantly, which makes rigid one-size-fits-all plans unrealistic.

The Pause system is powerful precisely because it creates friction without removing flexibility entirely: it is annoying to bypass, but not impossible. And once the self-allowed time expires, the protections automatically return.

So you can make bad habits hard to start and hard to continue — but not impossible.

As far as I know, FocusMe is the only software that currently implements this balance so well.

I am so sad that I knew about this app just a few days ago I wish I had it the past years. This app is insainly good at blocking and its hard to bypass it even if there is any way to bybass it u just tell them and they fix it. They made the app working so well, but the only thing I wish having is the UI. rather than that the app is insainly good . and who ever needs an easly frindly looking app if its working so god damn well..

Honestly, FocusMe is the best PC program to control the way you use your pc, It's perfect for all uses, it covers the whole gaps. there is no way to bypass it and if so, simply you report it to them and they solve it ASAP. I haven't treated with such a customer service before. As an OCPD with Porn addictrion I don't know what it'd be without FocusMe , It's my protection fence which I can't do without it.

I am an internet addict. It is the first blocker that I could not find a "way around" to get back into the stuff that is addictive for me.

Really great app, I've never looked back since discovering it. Their customer service is outstanding too; they responded quickly and resolved an issue I was having on my Mac without any hassle. My only wish is that they'd release an iPhone app someday. I love this app; it's the only one that truly covers every way I might try to bypass it.

Slightly daunting to get into but that's only due to how comprehensive and bespoke the software can be.
Caution: the level of strictness is down to you so the limiting factor is how willing you are to really break personal routines.
Despite the websites plethora of explanatory information emailing staff was easy, responsive and, thus far, very helpful.
The May 2026 upgrade of an AI Coach allows you the option of tailored feedback if you want the option of a granular level of insight into computer one's own habits.
I've found knowing just how much less time I use certain sites and apps useful encouragement that offsets the inevitable irritation I've felt when breaking habits.
Be warned: this is very effective so be mindful tgat if you do design strict plans anticipate that you might try pausing or stopping the plan. This is completely normal but can be frustrating to unlock.

This program is absolutely incredible.

I'll have to admit: I have a bad habit of watching Age of Empires streams. I know that sounds odd, but it's genuinely fun and competitive, and my inner gaming nerd never fully went away. I don't play video games anymore, but somehow I kept finding myself pulled back into watching streams.

I bought this program specifically to block Twitch and break that habit. Unfortunately, in two days I had already found a loophole. Most streamers have moved to YouTube, and I can't block YouTube entirely because I rely on it for work and personal development.

That's where FocusMe really impressed me. It lets you block content by keyword, not just by website. So now, YouTube works perfectly for me. But the moment I type "Gaming" or "Age of Empires" into the search bar, it blocks me automatically.

I still get full access to everything YouTube has to offer, just without the rabbit holes. I'm actually excited to keep refining my keyword list to make YouTube as educational and productive as possible.

I'm also genuinely grateful for the pricing model. $400 is a significant investment, but having the option to pay once in full rather than being locked into a monthly or yearly subscription is a huge plus. For a program this well built, it's a fair price.

First, I thank God for guiding me to find this amazing program. Praise be to Allah who made it easy for me to access it.

I never imagined that I would find a program that understands all the loopholes and bypass methods I used with any other program. Now I’ve found a program that is aware of all the tricks I could try to manipulate it with.

I never imagined the strength of this program, even when I used commands to t ry to delete it as an experiment. I used complex commands that could even reach kernel-level operations on windows to try to remove it, but I never expected that nothing would happen. Literally nothing happened, and the program was not affected by even a single error.

The program cannot have any of its files deleted at all, and it is impossible to completely stop it once any plan is activated. This program is impossible.

I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone involved in developing this program. I feel like I might cry while writing this comment. No one can imagine the level of happiness I’m feeling.

The only thing I have against it is that it’s kinda hard to understand the layout of the menus once you first start(it’s complicated)

FocusMe is the best blocking software I have come across. It is almost impossible to bypass, especially when a plan is enforced. It has been really helpful in keeping me stay focused and reducing unhealthy online habits. I also appreciate the flexibility to create plans tailored to my specific needs. Lastly, their support team is very responsive and friendly—I get my queries resolved in no time.
